Dr. Joyce Cheng was on track to become a chemical engineer when she had the opportunity to observe a periodontist work on a patient. It was then she decided that periodontics was her true calling.Dr. Cheng completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of California, San Francisco, also earning a Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences from UCSF. Dr. Cheng is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Cheng specializes in gingival grafting, guided tissue regeneration, bone grafting, bone & sinus augmentation, and dental implants. She devotes her time to the community and outreach programs for disadvantaged populations including the Asian Health Community Dental Clinic in Oakland, CA.
Dr. Igor Roitman graduated with honors from the international Program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He practiced general dentistry for a number of years and returned to school to pursue a postgraduate education in the dental specialty of Periodontics. Dr. Roitman went on to earn a certificate in periodontics and a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Roitman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Roitman is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at UCSF and is actively involved in clinical research in the field of surgically assisted orthodontics. He specializes in gingival grafting, guided tissue regeneration, bone grafting, bone & sinus augmentation, surgically-assisted orthodontics, and dental implants.
He is a member of the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, California Dental Society, California Society of Periodontology, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Osseointegration.

Excellent care from date of referral to completion of procedure and follow up. Great office staff. Dr. Roitman was excellent as a communicator and very skilled procedurally. I had extensive procedures with minimal to no discomfort.

Dr. Roitman is the best. I have had a few gum surgeries with him and he has placed an implant all in the past few years and his work is excellent. I completely trust him which is everything when it comes to dental and periodontal work. I recommend him to everyone.

I had my first visit on 8/23. I met Dr. Roitman who was thorough and patient during the examination. I felt confident in him and he will perform LANAP on a quadrant of my teeth in Sept. The office was careful with Covid safety, which I really appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We followed Dr. Fiori to Menlo Park Periodontics in 2016 and enjoyed the quality of service by doctors, hygienists and their staff ever since. It's a very friendly place too.

Once again, great experience. All people that I meet in the office are accomplished professionals and also very nice on human level, attentive and caring, I feel so relaxed and assured whenever I come there. Will keep coming. P.S. I keep coming to this office for number of years, and am really glad that they are there - always professional and welcoming. Dr. Roitman is an outstanding pro, highly attentive, honest and always to the point. Front desk and assistants are great as well. My dental health vastly improved in recent years after treatments that I received there, and after following their specific dental care advice. I highly recommend this dental office, one of the very best that I ever attended. I will also post my review elsewhere, to honor great job these people are doing.
