Dr. Michelle Shadrick grew up in North Central Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire with her degree in Biology. She earned her Dental Degree at Marquette University and has practiced in Wisconsin ever since. She enjoys providing comprehensive care to promote good health and well being and values the relationships and trust she builds with her patients. When not in the office she loves to travel, kayak, hike, read and spend time with family and friends keeping a well balanced life.
Dr. Jason Jacoby was born and raised in Wisconsin, where he received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin Madison. After earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University, one of the nations top dental schools, he advanced his education by completing a year-long residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. After spending the last several years working in the Chicago area, Dr. Jacoby returned to the Wisconsin where he is eager to use his knowledge and experience to provide high quality care to all his patients. When Dr. Jacoby isnt in the office, he enjoys traveling, running, and hiking.
Dr. Bryce Opps grew up in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with his bachelors degree in Biology. He moved to the sunshine state of Florida, where he earned his Dental Degree at LECOM School of Dental Medicine. After spending some time in Florida, Dr. Opps has now returned to his home state of Wisconsin and is excited to offer high quality dental services to his home community while also building relationships with those in the surrounding areas. Dr. Opps is an avid sports fan, so when he is not in the office, you can find him cheering for the Brewers, Packers, Bucks, and all the Badger teams!
Dr. Vivienne Zhang grew up in New York City and graduated from St. Johns University with her bachelors degree in Chemistry. She stayed in NYC to pursue her passion for dentistry and graduated Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious national honor, from New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she completed a year-long General Dentistry Residency in Brooklyn, New York. Before Dr. Zhang relocated to the State of Wisconsin to open Mendota Springs Dentistry, she was working in private practices in the suburbs of Chicago. In her free time, Dr. Zhang loves traveling, photography, and yoga. She is also exploring her new home state of Wisconsin.

I decided to go to Mendota Springs because I had a dental emergency, it was near my home at the time, and it had great reviews online. I wish I had looked at ALL of the reviews, because the more descriptive comments all share a theme - greed and lack of empathy. It takes a lot for someone to come on here to write a review like this to caution others. The good: The office itself is GORGEOUS, which was actually a bit of a red flag for me (patients pay for those fancy decor extras) but I have to say the office and treatment rooms are clean and well designed. The reception staff was GREAT and very caring. The bad: The hygienist was nice, but a bit detached. Seemed like she was tense and rushed- as others have commented, the cleaning felt incomplete. The dentist was condescending and I felt embarrassed. I was convinced to buy a dental "plan" for several hundred dollars, so I decided to come back for 2 extractions and eventual implants. One extraction was a molar, and took a LONG time. The dentist seemed to blame me for my long tooth roots. Ok...sorry? I was in terrible pain and had cried throughout the end of the extraction. She then scoffed at me when I asked about pain management. The ugly: the big evil molar got dry socket a couple days later. I went in, tooth throbbing and level 10 pain. I couldn't eat or sleep at this point. Sat in the waiting room for 20-30 minutes writhing in pain, only to see the dentist for a few minutes to give me some natural ointment for the dry socket. Unbelievable...now I'm left to find a different dentist because I will not go back to be treated like garbage. The owners/investors are image focused and don't seem to really care about the people they are "caring" for.

I have contacted the office several times and asked to speak to an office manager. You cannot access a manager or anyone other than the front desk. They will not complete my Invisalign or refund my money. They will steal your money with no remorse. Be careful what you pay for in advance they do not stand behind their services.

Mendota springs started out as a great place for me, however they lost my Invisalign trays and blamed it on me. They will not complete my Invisalign, or refund me. Be careful they will steal your money and discard you without finishing your treatments. They also do not honor their free whitening advertisement.

Everyone here is very nice and professional. My dentist was able to complete two fillings in 15-20 minutes making an extremely quick appointment. Her and her dental assistant were also very understanding/patient with me when I jumped a bit in the chair having felt a pinch. Really great team here.

Super friendly staff in a clean and well-designed office! Love modern touches like the TV on the ceilings of exam rooms and iPads for pre-visit forms. Always easy to get in touch via a quick text, with lots of scheduling flexibility. I've been going here for 5 years and have only had positive experiences.

I purchased Invisalign through this dentist office. They lost my trays and scheduled me with a different dentist without my knowledge and stated my former dentist was not available. Then they reached back out to me and stated I should seek my care elsewhere after I paid them $5000 for Invisalign. They will not remove the buttons they place on my teeth for Invisalign and will not refund any of the money. I am a nurse and a single mother. I worked very hard to be able to finance fixing my teeth and cannot believe they are scamming me out of my money. They also took X-rays and refused to do a cleaning because there was not enough time. DO NOT go here!!!! They will steal your money. MENDOTA SPRINGS YOU SHOJLD BE ASHAMED!

I had a great experience today at Mendota Springs. Everyone at the clinic was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Jacoby was very friendly and took his time with me today at my appointment. I didn't feel I was being judged or shamed for not having a perfect dental routine lol. I look forward to bringing the rest of my family here for their dental needs.
