Dr. Herbert Mendelson, the Director of the Dental Implant Continuum at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and former senior faculty member of the New York University College of Dentistry, Department of General Dentistry and Management Science Division of Reconstruction and Comprehensive Care, enjoys practicing in his Owings Mills private practice setting.
Dr. Mendelson graduated with a B.A. in Economics from theGeorge Washington University, a D.D.S. from theMedical College of Virginia, completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at theUniversity of Pennsylvaniaand has achieved a certificate in advanced studies in Oral Implantology from the New York University. Dr.Mendelson has been featured in journals and has lectured both nationally and internationally on a myriad of topics. He maintains Diplomate status, the highest level of credentialing, in both, the American Board of Oral Implantology and the International Congress of Oral Implantolgists.
Born and raised in Baltimore county, Dr. Mendelson resides in Reisterstown, Maryland, with his wife, Wendy, four children, Ben, Max, Sam, and Sara, and their Labradoodle, Rambo. In addition, he is also an accomplished magician who has performed live at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas!
Harold R. Mendelson, DDS maintains a private practice in Owings Mills, MD. Hewas born and raised in Grafton, West Virginia. He came to Baltimore in 1963 to attend dental school at theUniversity of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Mendelson graduated in the top ten percent of his class in 1967. After dental school, he went on to complete residency in advanced General Dentistry at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. In 1968, he went into theUnited States Armywhere he was lucky enough to be introduced to and inspired by the theories of Dr. William Barkley, the father of Preventive Dentistry. After completing his tour of duty, Dr. Mendelson and his family came back to Baltimore to set up their dream, Mendelson Family Dentistry, PA.
Dr. Danielle Waranch is a Maryland native and an alumnus of Friends School of Baltimore. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Dickinson College, Dr. Waranch obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School. While a dental student, she held leadership positions in various organizations she was involved in and was trained using state of the art equipment and the latest techniques in general dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Waranch completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where she was able to refine her skills and expand her knowledge in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Waranch remains active in various dental organizations to further her dental learning and looks forward to providing quality dental care in a gentle and friendly environment. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Waranch enjoys exploring new areas near and far, trying new restaurants, reading, attending Sports games, and spending time with family and friends.

Mendelson Family Dentistry, PA does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.
