This is a wonderful practice with caring staff and doctors. We have always been treated well. My children are now 19 and 16 and they have been seeing Dr. Kuhn since they had teeth so I've known her for many years. The orthodontist Dr.Harriot has been treating my son via invisalign and the process has gone smoothly .His teeth look amazing. Over the 15 or so years I've had maybe 2 -3 billing questions/ issues from my insurance and the office has always taken care of it. I highly recommend!

SCAM!!! DO NOT GO HERE EVER EVER! They have the assistant take a pick to create holes in teeth during cleaning and then next visit will say your child or teen has cavities when they don't. They claim the pick is used to see if there are cavities. False...ONLY xrays can do that. No other practice uses picks. They have lied on two occasions about my child having cavities and I was done with this place. I never let them do any work thank god. Save your child from tons of anxiety and unnecessary treatments. Also baby teeth should not be worked on. Will not ruin adult teeth.

Highly recommend that no parent brings their children to this practice! It's very disheartening how my family was treated. Just because there's an MD next to a person's name, doesn't mean their a good doctor. The dental assistant and receptionist were extremely pleasant and patient. Thankfully for them, this practice can have At least one star for their genuine care and patience needed for a child.

Always an issue with making an appointment. Billing is all over the place. Look at your bills from this office carefully. They will bill you for services not provided. EDIT TO THE OFFICES RESPONSE: We went to this office for 2 years, there were billing issues from day one. The bills never matched the EOB'S from the insurance company.

They do a terrible job of scheduling. Average wait time is 40 min. Orthodontist is only available once a week and it is extremely difficult to make appointments with the orthodontist at this location. My daughter is suffering because the orthodontist isn't there. They took the money and now work is still not done.

Front desk staff is rude and accounting office over charges / double bills. Their orthodontist only visits this location once a week so it is tough to make appointments. Extremely disappointed by their lack of service.

They. Are truly amazing ! Dr. k did my teeth transplants. I was very anxious about the procedure but he was very kind and professional, and I feel great and I can now chew on both sides..and my new teeth look and feel Great!

Bad experience with their current orthodontist. The staff lies all the time to coverup for this orthodontist. I feel bad for the front office staff because they are forced to lie to keep their job. I will never recommend Melville Kids Dentistry to anyone.

I took my son to Melville Kids Dentistry. My son is little. At the beginning had my doubts. Because, I read these reviews. Even thought my friend recommend me the place. As a parent we are always afraid. I have to say my son had a wonderful experience. The stuff was so nice and pleasant. My son was watching Netflix. At the end the Hygienist, walked him to the price box.The place was very clean and kids friendly . Dr. Michelle Kun, was very knowledgeable, about holistic pediatric dentistry. I highly recommend this place.

If I could give this place negative stars- I would. Terrible experience, lying staff, have no ways around or with kids, don't have technique and probably didn't finish dental school as it is. Dr is ignorant, hygienist claims she did cleaning when she wrote a note to the dr 'pt wouldn't open her mouth.' If you are reading this now- I suggest you stay away from my insurance company because you will answer to DOS and you have my word for it, I will bring charges against your practice. Do not recommend this place, go somewhere else, plenty of good dds out there and this is not one of them.

I do not recommend this place, when there with my cousin her kids had a 9am appt and it was change to 10:30 without notice. We go there and they tell us the tried getting in touch with us and sent an email but couldn't get in touch, even if they didn't get in touch you just don't switch apt time. And the lady at the front tells me that since we didn't answer they thought we were not coming to the appointment and that to have a dental hygienist is very expensive can't pay the. To just sit around and our insurance barely pays and they don't Pay their salary (told by front desk) I guess that just by my insurance I should not get a different treatment than the rest at the end of the day the dentist is in network with that insurance for a . I had work in the medical field for a while and I guess there employees need better training on how to treat their patients
