A phone call to see how I was doing would have been appreciated. Another place all about their money. Need a lesson or two in customer service.

I recently had a bunch of teeth extracted by Dr Lackey and her staff. They could not have been more professional or compassionate. Going through an experience like this had me very nervous, on edge (a little scared). They explained everything that was going to happen, made sure I was sufficiently numb & guided me through the process and before I knew it - it was over. They had constantly asked how I was feeling and that with a certain extraction I may feel more pressure (more roots?). Knowing what was going to happen helped me alot and the overall communication with me could not have been better. They are very cheerful & upbeat and really, really good at their jobs. I would highly recommend them to anyone. You won't be disappointed...

Everyone was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout my entire wisdom teeth extraction. They called to check in afterwards and answered my calls pleasantly whenever I had a question! They made me feel at ease the whole time. I highly recommend to anyone who is in need of an oral surgeon.

I had my consultation at Melrose-Wakefield the other day for a tooth that needs extraction. I'm a new patient and I have to say the place is run by very professional and friendly people. They made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. I was a bit nervous about it it all, but now I'm very comfortable with the thought of going back to have my tooth pulled.

The office was very professional and my procedure was explained to me in detail and after my return home I was called to see how I was doing, I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a oral surgeon.

This practice is both professional, and kind and caring. Everything is explained by Dr. Lackey and her assistants before starting any procedure. I would not hesitate to refer this office to my family and friends.

I had a molar pull out with local anthesia and I didn't feel any pain. Dr Lackey and her assistant talked to me letting me know what's going on and made sure that I was completely numb before she started the procedure. They are excellent there highly recommend

Needed to have one tooth extracted .... took longer to numb the area than the actual extraction. Didn't feel a thing! Highly recommend!

Outstanding professionalism!!! I highly recommend this place. I have been to a couple of other surgeries and I didn't allow them to do the extraction as they were behaving absolutely unprofessional and I felt I couldn't trust them. This place however is awesome and Drs. Lackey extracted my tooth very quickly and gently and even made me laugh during my stay!!!

I left this practice feeling uncared for and mistreated. Reading all the other positive reviews makes me wonder if I was singled out because of my race, or if I was just unlucky. It took me months to write this negative review, in part because I dislike speaking negatively about others, but also in hopes that someone would eventually reach out to me; no one ever did. During my first visit Doctor Lackey walked in with gloves already on, and then proceeded to examine my mouth. This made me uneasy because she was coming from seeing another patient in another room. I work in a hospital and it is common practice to wash your hands and put on new gloves in the presence of the patient before examining them, especially during a pandemic. My ride was asked to call before surgery to provide all his information and to be screened, but on the day of surgery they did not even have his name or phone number. Therefore they found it appropriate to grab my cellphone which I trustingly left in my jacket's pocket to call my ride instead of going to the parking lot to grab him. When I called to find out why my cellphone had been unlocked and taken out of my jacket, they told me I gave them consent, I was nice about it and did not say anything to not be a difficult patient, but I felt and still feel my privacy had been violated because even if I did give consent, my consent was invalid because of the state of mind I was in, I was so sedated that until this day I cannot remember if this interaction did take place or not. The last I ever heard from them was when they called me to cancel my post surgery f/u appointment. I was among the patients that were exposed to a confirmed Covid-19 patient at their clinic. I understand these things happen and I was aware of the possibility of this happening when I signed their Covid-19 waiver. The issue is not that it happened, but that after it happened their approach was cold and careless. All they said was that they were going to notify the Department of Public Health about my exposure. They never called again to either check on how surgery had gone, or if I was healing properly, or to reschedule my appointment once they were seeing patients again. The fact that they knew I was exposed and did not care to f/u was disheartening because I had referred so many of my friends here based on my dentist's referral. After how I was treated I told them to go somewhere else. I would not want my loved ones to be treated the way I was treated.

The entire staff was efficient and knowledgeable. Dr. Lackey was fantastic. She was so very kind and understanding. I was nervous and she put me at ease immediately. Aside from being a phenomenal oral surgeon Dr. Lackey is an amazing human being.

My google account is all messed up and can't seem to fix it no matter what I do. I had my tooth pulled this afternoon, my name is Doreen. Such a great experience. Everyone was great. Very careful following CDC guidelines. I felt very comfortable. No pain whatsoever! Dr. Lackey was terrific!!

I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth out and I did do the procedure awake. Many people told me I should have went under, but my nurses, Laurie & Kaitlyn and Dr. Lackey we're absolutely amazing and very supportive. They kept me laughing and calmed my nerves down for sure. I appreciate them because they made my experience 100% better and they were all very sweet. I just overall felt safe there and like my voice was heard. And at then end, the nurses said, now you can go tell everyone that you did it awake and did amazing! Dr. Lackey did great and really checked in with me many times to see how it all felt and walked me through what she was doing. It was easy and quick and I was surprised by how much it didn't hurt. Even having to go do this not so fun thing today, Melrose Wakefield Oral Surgery made it a positive experience and I am so thankful.

Professional, informative, caring, knowledgeable and efficient. Great experience for my oldest who had four wisdom teeth pulled. It was a seamless experience and can't thank the team there enough for the smooth process.
