While the dentists and most of the hygienists and office staff are phenomenal, a few of the actual staff and hygienists are not. We tried several times to advocate for our daughter, but it fell on deaf ears. On our daughter's last visit, she was trying to talk herself out of her fear. Another hygienist yelled at her and made a tough situation even worse. She had zero cares or tact in this situation. When asked to step back, she proceeded to yell at my husband. We will not be going back nor recommending them to anyone. If your child has anxiety or any other health impairments, I strongly suggest for you to keep searching for a dentist. This is not the place.

I was probably more nervous than my four year old about her first appointment last year. I never liked the dentist. The staff was incredible. Extremely child friendly. They made her feel comfortable and laugh. They didn't push her to do the x-ray since she start gagging a bit. Afterwards she asked multiple times when she gets to go back. Dad took her a few days ago and said she did great, even let them do her x-ray this time. In which they did find two small little cavities. We went back today to get them filled. And again the staff exceeded expectations when it comes to dealing with children. They didn't get agitated and tried to make her feel as comfortable as possible. As far as the continuing covid precautions, I don't understand why it's such a big deal for people. And it's definitely not going to make me lower my rating. They are a wonderful office and I am beyond pleased with their service!

My 4 year old son has an absess and Aspen Dental referred us to Melissa Padgett. He said to let them know that my son needs in as soon as possible for treatment. I called and left a message explaining the situation. They called back and left a message saying that because he's a referral he has to wait until December to be seen. It's July 18th and my son has an absess... and he can't be seen until December....

When my now 15 year old son had his first dental appointment at a different dentist office (when he was 5 years old), he was truly panic-stricken. That particular staff did not prepare him for all of the loud and scary devices that were about to be used on him. I did not think I would be able to get him back to a dentist for years. But someone suggested we try Dr. Padgett's office. After looking at her website, I felt cautiously optimistic about sending him there. You could tell that the office was very geared toward making children feel comfortable and even happy about their experience. The office is brightly colored and inviting, and there was a childrens movie playing in the waiting room. The staff members at the front desk are very friendly, and the hygienist who came out to get him was very bubbly and sweet. My son went right into the exam room without pause! And then to be in the different themed rooms (Cars, Toy Story, Super Mario etc), you could see his face light up and it took any of his fear away. Then Dr. Padgett came in and spoke with me and my son while she was working with him. She really took the time to get to know him and make sure she explained everything to him and me. It was such a positive experience. That was 10 years ago, and I still remember it vividly because I was so relieved. We now feel like we are visiting old friends when we go in for his checkups. I'm sad that my boys are going to need to switch to an adult dentist soon, but I am so grateful for the wonderful care they have gotten all these years!!

We only had one appointment with Dr. Padgett prior to the pandemic and I was so happy with our visit and with how friendly, kind, and attentive all of the staff were. However, it is now 2 and a half years later, and I am so disappointed to see that the office is still operating under hysterical and superstitious covid policies that have zero scientific or medical justification. It was reasonable to take these precautions at the beginning of the pandemic when the situation was so fraught with uncertainties. However, there is no longer any excuse at all for maintaining this environment which irrationally treats healthy children and parents as vectors of disease and maintains a general atmosphere of anxiety. When will it end? If not now, I can't imagine what the criteria could possibly be for dropping these measures. I presume they are now permanent fixtures, and if so, I will be forced to seek another dentist for my child that is more grounded in reality, which is a shame, because me and my child really did love this office and it's staff.

My children love going to see Dr. Melissa and her staff! The office itself is extremely inviting for children. The staff specializes in working with children and it shows. They are always smiling, inviting, helpful, and cheerful. They have cute little names for all the procedures and tools and explain it to children in such a fun way that all their fears are washed away. I highly recommend Dr. Padgett.

I took my toddler to see Dr. Padgett. What a mistake! The place was a drill and fill factory with no professionalism or kindness towards my child. It was very suspect when they supposedly cleaned my child's teeth, yet he still had food particles stuck between his teeth. She also billed my insurance company for more work than she really did. That's fraud! This is clearly a very shady and unethical dental office. Shame on them!

I have 9 year old triplets and we have been going to Dr. Padgett and Dr Brown for about 6-7 years. We absolutely love their office! They have always been so friendly, compassionate and patient with my kids! At our most recent visit, my one son needed a filling. They took such great care of him, he said it did not even hurt at all!! When your kids ask to go to the dentist because they love the staff, you know it's a great place!! Thank you Dr Padgett and staff for taking such great care of my trio

Don't bother trying to go here if you are poor and your child needs a dentist. I was very told in a very condescending way that they do not accept medicaid and that I should try community care. If you are a dentist or doctor you should be required to accept ALL insurance. Very dissapointing.

The best around! My daughter LOVES going to the dentist. Dr. Padgett and her staff are nothing short of wonderful. We are greeted warmly and with respect from start to finish. The staff has a way of making everything lighthearted and happy for the whole family. We laugh pretty much though the whole cleaning. They have gone above and beyond to adhere to Covid protocols to make us feel safe.

I just had my son here to fix his front tooth that he chipped from a fall at school. Everyone I came in contact with was phenomenal! As a nervous mom who's child chipped a permanent tooth and didn't want her son to be forever embarrassed by it, bringing my son here was the best decision. Thank you all for making my son's smile brighter and he actually said he wouldn't mind coming back!

Love Dr Padgett and her staff. I cannot tell enough people how great she and her caring staff are. My son is autistic and has been going to Dr Padgett for years. He has many sensory needs and anxiety daily. He has done so well with Dr Padgett and her staff that I would love to bring all of them home with me because he actually enjoys going to the dentist so I can only imagine how great they would be with him outside of the office . They are so accommodating and excellent with the children always considering each individual child's experience . The office is bright and cheerful with each exam room decorated with different childhood themes . The hygienist are so sweet and sensitive to their needs . I know Dr Padgett also supports so many children's community programs including my son's school Potential Development. She has a true heart of gold and it shows in her work, her attention to every child's fears/needs and of course her kindness in giving back to our community .

We than came to Doctor Padgett's , and I cannot say enough to express how kind and patient the doctors and entire staff were with my daughter. Her tooth looks great and she had not one issue while in the chair. She skipped out with a smile on her face! Thank you just doesn't seem to cover it!!!

Took my 1 y.o. here for his very first dentist appointment. The entire experience was great even though he didn't enjoy it. I love that they sent him a welcome letter prior to his appointment and a personalized follow-up letter afterwards. I'm looking forward to his follow up appointments! Highly recommend.
