I am very proud to be a dentist and own a dental practice that reflects my own care philosophy: one based on respect and compassion towards my patients and their needs. My goal is to restore patients self-confidence in their smile by using the most gentle, effective techniques.

To me, dentistry is about helping people with their problems and teaching them how to prevent others. I enjoy the long-term relationships Ive made with patientsthe longer we know each other the more we both trust each other. I dont have to tell patients we care; we prove it every time we see them.

I grew up in Burnt Hills, New York, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. As a child, I always knew I wanted to be a dentist. In 1988, I became a registered dental hygienist and enjoyed working in the dental field very much. After a few years, I decided to continue my education and become a dentist.

While at Tufts, I served on the ethics, professionalism, and citizenship committee, and was the recipient of the Dr. Pauline Fuller Persons Scholarship. I was also honored to receive the Altshuler Ethics Award, which was established by Dr. Justin Altshuler and family to recognize a student who displays sensitivity and understanding of the role of ethics in the provision of oral health care and the responsibility entrusted to dentists to meet the needs of citizens.

Continuing education is vital in my mission to provide my patients with the most up-to-date, effective dental care. To this end, I am not only an AGD member, but I have completed my AGD Fellowship. Now I am working toward the AGD Mastership.

To earn a fellowship award, a dentist must complete at least 500 dental continuing education hours, pass a rigorous and comprehensive exam, and maintain AGD membership for three continuous years. Mastership is only awarded to dentists who have completed a minimum of 1100 hours of continuing education and passed a rigorous exam.

I met my husband Dave, who is a State Farm agent, while I was in dental school. We live in Atkinson with our two Shetland sheepdogs, Buster and Riley, and our cat Serge. Sometimes the dogs like to visit the office!

I practice yoga every day, sometimes before work at 5am! It keeps me grounded and pain free so that I can practice dentistry well. I also enjoy golfing, and though I am not very good at it, its nice to be outside. Dave and I also enjoy traveling to visit our family, who live all over the country. Sometimes though, the best nights are spent at home relaxing with our dogs.

Michela came to us with a strong recommendation from our neighbors at Plaistow Pediatric & Ortho. She has a fun-loving personality and has learned quickly how to be a top-notch assistant. Michela assists Dr. Newman during treatments, takes dental radiographs, and helps patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. She is a great team player, and we love her enthusiasm for the artistry that accompanies restorative dentistry.

Michela is currently attending Western Governors University for Elementary Education with hopes of becoming an elementary art teacher. She has a boyfriend named Devon and they share two shelter dogs, Marley and Rosie. She grew up on a farm of rescue animals that ranged from rats to horses, and loves to be around animals whenever she can.

Amanda began working in the dental field in high school, and has been doing it ever since! Her smile welcomes patients warmly when they come into the office. She also assists patients in answering their questions and helping to get their treatment scheduled. Amanda loves the relationships she builds with patients and has fun at work every day.

Amanda and her husband Corey have been together since high school. They have a son and daughter, as well as a dog and cat. She enjoys playing with her kids at the beach and trying new cooking recipes, in addition to photography.

Jen began her career in dentistry when she was a junior in high school in 2000, working at the front desk of an office in Londonderry and then assisting during her breaks from hygiene school. She earned her BS degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of New England in 2004. Jen loves the relationships that she forms with her patients and enjoys seeing them return for their cleanings time after time.

Paula has been in the dental field for more than 35 years, starting out as a dental assistant, then working in dental insurance, and finally back to the dental office as a business administrator. She has been with Dr. Newman since she opened her doors in 2011. Paula works hard to make patients feel right at home while theyre in our office. She is dedicated to great teamwork and creating a family-friendly atmosphere.

Paula and her husband Bill have been married for 35 years. They have two beautiful grown daughters: Caitlin the oldest followed in the dental field as a dental hygienist, and Meghan is a registered nurse. They also have a granddaughter Jolene, and love spoiling her. When shes not working, Paula enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and exploring the outdoors.

Caitlin began her career as a certified dental assistant, working in both clinical and front office atmospheres before becoming a hygienist. She spent many years working in pediatrics, oral surgery, and general dentistry before joining us in 2011, and enjoys working with patients of all ages. Caitlins goal is to provide top dental care and education for her patients while creating trusting relationships with them. She loves seeing the positive results of her patients hard work!

Caitlin is married to a firefighter, has a two-year-old daughter named Jolene, and another child on the way. Jolene is excited to become a big sister! They family spends summers outdoors as much as possible with many weekend trips to the family lake house in Maine.

Michele has been an assistant for ten years, receiving her Dental Assisting Certificate from NECC. She assists the doctor with chairside procedures, lab work, and patient education. Her favorite thing is seeing patients become more confident in themselves after their dental work is completed. She gets along great with our team and treats everyone like family.

Michele is married to her husband Anthony, who shes been with since high school. They have a nine-month-old son named Cameron and two dogs, Jax and Cici. They family loves hanging out by the pool, spending weekends at the racetrack where Anthony races, and going out for ice cream!

Amanda graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2014 and worked at a small general practice as a registered dental hygienist for the last six years. Recently joining our team, she works hard to educate patients on proper oral care and provide necessary treatment to keep mouths healthy. She enjoys making patients who are normally anxious about coming to the dentist more comfortable and a place that is actually fun!

Amanda bought a condo in Hampstead last year where she lives with her rescue dog, a lab mix named Ryder. She loves to be outside, especially the beach and staying active going on runs and hikes. Shes also really into country music!

Hailee started as an intern at Highland Family Dental when she was a senior at Sanborn Regional High School. After graduating from Sanborn, she attended Merrimack College, where she earned her BS in Biology, served as the President of Theta Phi Alpha, and was in the pre-dental society on campus. Her career path is to become a dentist and then apply to a specialty program to become an orthodontist! For now, she enjoys working with patients, and providing comfortable care and treatment throughout their entire office experience.

Brianna graduated from NHTI in 2020. While in school, she learned how to work with many different types of patients, varying from geriatric patients, adolescents, children, and adults. She also learned how to build care plans that are patient specific, along with treatment regarding each individuals needs. Her favorite part of her job is getting to spend one-on-one time with patients. During this time, she is able to provide oral health education that her patients need in order to maintain a healthy smile.

In her free time, Brianna loves to be outdoors. In the summer, she spends time at the beach, hikes often, kayaks, and goes fishing. She also loves to travel and cant wait to explore more of the world!
