Dr. Melinda Wagner DMD brings to Red Bank and the surrounding Monmouth County NJ communities, three decades of dental practice experience. Her general dentistry practice includes cosmetic dentistry, restoration of implants, pediatric dentistry, and periodontal treatment.
Her practice employs a multidisciplinary approach to ensure that her patients achieve the best possible dental outcomes. As a result, her patients enjoy not only the personal touch of small practice dentistry, but also, when appropriate, the specialized expertise of other health care professionals. For example, some of her patients have benefited by appliance therapy, behavior modification, and other in-office physical therapy treatment.
Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ/TMD) is one of Dr. Wagners areas of expertise. She studied this challenging subjectat Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, and over the years, has developed a recognized expertise in this area, even authoring several articles in professional publications relating to TMD/TMJ diagnosis and treatment. She has helped countless patients with TMJ/TMD issues, successfully resolving seemingly intractable problems including headaches, pain in and around the ear,tender jaw muscles, clicking noises in the jaw, and locking jaw joints.
After graduating from the Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School, Dr. Wagner completed a one-year general practice residency at Monmouth Medical Center. Also, she proudly served in the New Jersey Army National Guard for six years, attaining the rank of Captain.

Dr. Wagner was the first female president of the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society. She was recently honored for 25 years of dedicated service on the teaching staff at the Monmouth Medical Center. Her years of experience as both a teacher and a practitioner has given her a skill set of unique depth and breadth.
Brandi is our insurance coordinator. She brings a wealth of experience to our office with over thirty years in the dental field. She brings unique expertise in insurance resolution and payment of claims, and keeps track of our invoicing for our office to run smoothly. Her primary goal is ensuring that insurance claims are properly processed so that our patients can keep their focus on dental care.
Brandi handles any patient questions or concerns regarding insurance claims. She always goes the extra mile to make sure that every patient fully understands their insurance benefits so that their coverage is maximized. She is never too busy to help out and find the answer to any question. She has a knack for quickly resolving any insurance issues.
Anna holds the Number #2 license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Anna studied and worked together with Dr. Samuel Furman, former President of the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry, where she was taught the true meaning of Excellence in Dentistry.
She has over 40 years of experience as a registered dental assistant, and is passionate about dentistry. She loves sharing her knowledge and experience with her colleagues and patients in our office, she is an advocate for all dental assistants to join the ranks of licensed RDAs.
Stephanie joined our team with a dedication and commitment to the dental health and well-being of every patient. She holds an Associates degree in Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene bringing a compassionate chairside manner and a desire to educate patients in maintaining a healthy mouth for life by providing excellent personalized care.
Nina is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with more than eighteen years in the dental field. She began her career as a Dental Assistant and worked her way through school to reach her goal of becoming a Dental Hygienist. She has worked in Pediatric, Periodontal, and General dental practices. Nina is kind, gentle and works hard to provide optimum care for our patients.
Christine, a favorite among our patients, greets everyone with her big smile as she escorts them into their dental treatment room. She brings to Melinda Wagner Dental more than 10 years experience including radiography, making impressions and temporary teeth, and packing cord. Christina assists our dentists with setting up and preparing for advanced dental procedures as well as assisting in certain procedures. She is also responsible for maintaining our inventory control. Christine loves her fur-baby Chihuahua named Lilly.
Originally from Tinton Falls office, Gina has been working as a dental assistant for several years. She met Dr. Wagner at age 19 when she trained with Dr. Furman (Dr. Wagners former mentor) in Tinton Falls.
She is back full- time with us after raising 2 sons. She just completed her exam to become an x-ray technician. You will know you are talking to Gina when you see her big broad smile and her overwhelming kindness.
Matthew was raised in Little Silver and studied music theory and composition at the Visual and Performing Arts Academy at Red Bank Regional High School. From there he obtained his Bachelors degree in Music from the Mannes Conservatory of Music in NYC, 2018. By the end of 2020 Matt received his Masters in Music Performance, with honors, from California State.
He is presently coordinating our dental office with the staff playing their parts in perfect harmony. The discipline he developed while studying music has led him to interpret our dental software quickly. His ability to work well with others has also enhanced his work ethic here.
In the evenings you can hear Matt playing either clarinet or saxophone with local bands. He also teaches in the evenings and weekends at the Monmouth Conservatory of Music and has his own private teaching studio.
Cassandra was raised in Florida in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. She brings that Southern charm to our office. She greets all patients with kindness and a smile and makes everyone feel at home here. Cassandra has over 12 years of work experience in the Dental Field. She has managed offices larger than ours and we are grateful to have her warm personality and years dental experience. Her expertise has patients understanding the process of scheduling and insurance claims.
Cassandra loves shopping, family time, our Atlantic City Casinos and most of all her hound doggie Copper. Our winters have become her favorite time of year. Growing up in Florida makes her appreciate our snow, and each year she hopes for a white Christmas.

My daughter, over the last five years, suffered from jaw clicking, popping, migraines and jaw pain. She went to see her pediatrician, several neurologists in NJ and NYC, a neurologist at CHOPS, an oral surgeon in NYC, orthodontists, and multiple dentists. One oral surgeon in NYC wanted to do jaw surgery. She missed months of school over the years and went to many emergency rooms for pain management. During the last five years, she had several mouthpieces made, hundreds and hundreds of x-rays, Cat scans, MRI's, braces, and finally, on two occasions, had 20 shots of nerve block injected into her scalp at CHOPS. All the doctors, dentists and specialist would not stop her migraines. I made an appointment with Dr. Wagner, who examined my daughter and told her she had TMJ. She told her what to eat and made her a mouth piece. After all, the failed attempts over the last five years, we cannot believe it. Dr. Wagner stopped all the pain, all the popping and cracking. My daughter has not had a migraine since Dr. Wagner made her a mouthpiece and helped her diet. It took five years and a lot of perseverance, but we finally found the most incredible dentist in the world. Our whole family will be going to her dentist from now on. Her staff is accommodating and lovely too!

I brought my daughter to Dr. Wagner, after seeing lots of doctors. Our ENT encouraged us to see Dr. Wagner and said that if anyone could get her head pain and jaw problems well, it was this dentist. We were so happy with the time she spent with us and how much she cared. We are following her treatment and my daughter is feeling so much better. You are our angel.

I went to Dr. Wagner for my constant pain in my jaw, and she cured it in no time at all! She spent alot of time with me, doing a very thorough exam, and then began fixing the problem patiently and confidently. She is gifted with a great ability to understand whats happening in your mouth and then getting it better. I am sleeping better and eating without pain for the first time in nearly a year. She's a wonderful dentist and very warm and caring person. I wish I could give more than just 5 stars! Thank You Dr. Wagner!

While I've only had one visit so far, I know that the rest will be the same! Dr. Wagner is a fantastic doctor with a great bedside manner and extensive knowledge. Not only is she easy to talk to but I had no issues or fears in discussing any questions or concerns about my visit. All of the office staff are kind. I've dealt with others in the past where the doctor is great but the staff weren't so it would make me not want to see the doctor. That isn't the case here. The entire office is great and I look forward to continuing my TMJ treatment at this practice.

What a great experience my daughter and I had at Dr Wagner's office. The staff was professional, welcoming and wonderful! My daughters loved the experience and learned so much because the staff was so interactive with them. Dr Wagner immediately was able to pinpoint my diagnosis of TMJ (she's a well known specialist for TMJ), educated me on exactly what I needed to do, impressions were taken and a night guard is on order. Hoping this makes a big difference in my migraines, which it sounds like it will. The office it's self is very clean, taking all the COVID precautions, and absolutely darling! Thank you Dr Wagner and Staff for a great experience!

I've been going to Minda for many years. When I was young I had an accident which caused my front tooth to be dead and slightly discolored. Overtime it moved and started to protrude. After years of discussing, I finally agreed to replace the 2 front teeth with porcelain crowns. GAME CHANGER!! I am so happy and look forward to bigger smiles in the future!! Her staff is magnificent and so supportive. What a team !
