Dr. Marino earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, after earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. She has since undergone extensive postgraduate education every year, selecting courses focusing on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and laser periodontal therapy. Her training allows her to offer her patients the Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure for the treatment of gum disease as well as a wide variety of reconstructive and cosmetic options for achieving the smile of your dreams. Dr. Marino's commitment to lifelong education means she is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide her patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.
A born-and-raised San Diego native, Dr. Sarah Golshan earned her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University. She received a bachelor's degree in biology and minored in sociology with an emphasis on diversity and change. She is proud to be part of the Trojan family, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California Ostrow School of Dentistry. After successful completion of the Western Regional Examining Board, she continued her education; completing an optional hospital-based residency program at Jacobi Medical Center, a level one trauma center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Golshan provides comprehensive dental care in a gentle and comfortable manner. She is proficient in a wide range of dental procedures, with a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry. Her hobbies include hiking, cooking, and practicing yoga; she enjoys attending comedy shows, Broadway musical performances, and traveling.

Lindsey is the first smiling face you will see when you walk through the door. Her goal is to make you feel as if you have truly found your dental home. As Dr. Marino's business manager, she will assist you in anything you need from insurance benefits to understanding treatment or just needing someone to talk to. She was born and raised in Southern California and plans to never leave. She is very passionate about eating healthy and working out. Lindsey is married to her high school sweetheart and has one amazing son.
Isabel has been Dr. Marino's registered dental assistant for nine years, the quintessential right-hand woman. During that time she has honed her skills in temporization and enjoys helping patients look and feel great about their dental appearance even while in temporary restorations. While she is not at work perfecting her skills she is a wife and mother of three very active boys. In the time she finds for herself she enjoys reading, sewing, and cooking.
Anna has been in the dental field for 3 years as a registered dental assistant. Her love for dentistry is so much that she is in the process of pursuing to enter into a dental hygiene program. Anna loves to dance and is currently training in Latin dance, specifically in salsa.
When Kayla joined Dr. Marinos team in 2016 she felt as if she was welcomed into a family. The compassion and commitment to providing optimal care radiates throughout the team and Kayla knew she would fit right in. Kayla graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then from San Joaquin Valley College with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. Her goal is to educate and guide her patients in preventing periodontal disease through explaining the systemic correlation between overall health and oral health. Kayla knows that a thorough cleaning does not have to be painful and prides herself with a gentle touch. She enjoys adventuring on camping trips with her husband and two dogs. Kayla loves eating healthy, working out, and tasting delicious craft beers.
Haley was very excited to join the team of Dr. Melinda Marino as a registered dental hygienist. She received her associates degree in dental hygiene at San Joaquin Valley College, and has been practicing hygiene since 2015. She is very passionate about making every patient feel comfortable and taken care of when they see her. She enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her two Shiba Inus in her free time.
Adina has spent her career providing exceptional customer service to her patients. She feels strongly that her enthusiastic, positive attitude helps her establish long-term relationships with her clients, who ultimately feel more like family. Adina is dedicated to helping our office continue to be the benchmark of excellence in the dental community. Adina has a B.A. degree in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University. After working for a busy oral surgery clinic, she is excited to embark on her career with our team.
Some people fear being 'knocked out,' as during surgery. Their fear centers on losing control of perception. But it is important to know you remain aware of your environment, but not of the procedure being performed. Conscious sedation provides a happy medium of losing your anxiety but not your awareness.
This type of sedation is also a good option for those who are highly resistant to anesthesia. They require an alternative to have their work performed. Also, when patients can't spare the time for multiple visits, sedation dentistry is the option that allows more or even all work to be accomplished in just one visit.

Hands down the best DDS I've ever been to, no joke!!! From the help booking my appointment, to getting a cleaning, to the very easy, clear, and non pushy way they lay out costs and options for revisits and additional work. Everyone at that office is a rockstar. Probably why they are the only DDS on Yelp that I've ever seen with 5 stars. I know highly recommending them will make it harder to book an appointment, but they deserve the praise.

Who looks forward to going to the dentist? Well, that is a bit of stretch but I can't imaging going to another doc. Every aspect of the visit, front desk, actual therapy, billing, is top notch. If you are looking for a new dentist, this is the place.

Three words sum up my visit: BELIEVE-THE-HYPE! From the time I walked in the door...to the time I left...it was just world-class professionalism and quality service! Dr. Marino is down to earth and approachable. Hayley (sp?) really is the "hygiene fairy." I wish I'd gotten the gal that checked me in. She was so relatable. I knew going in that I needed extensive work as I'd been prioritizing my kid before myself and my teeth. NO JUDGEMENT AT ALL. Seriously...not what I've experienced in other locations. All in all (and selfishly)...I kind of don't want to leave this review; this office is a hidden gem. I'm surprised that her waitlist isn't years long. The BEST...seriously. It feels more like a visit with friends and family than an dental office visit. Clarissa and Adina - just top class. Run - don't walk - if you've been putting off dental work. There really isn't a need anymore.

I can't say enough good things about this place. All the staff is awesome! Haylee does a fantastic job with my daughter and is so kind and patient with her. I too had a fantastic cleaning and Dr Marino genuinely cares!

They worked me in next day, then actually got my crown prep done as well. Dr. Marino was great. She and staff were professional and down to earth. Very good experience , nice office and reasonably priced.
