With more than a decade of specialized training in implantology and prosthodontics, Dr. Meyers is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologistsand is an expert in tooth restoration. Dedicated to cultivating lifelong relationships with his patients, Dr. Meyers takes pride in his practices record of patient retention.
Dr. Lee Meyers grew up in Prince Georges County and graduated from Western Maryland College in 1984 with a degree in Sports Medicine. In 1988, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Marylands School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Meyers joined the family practice, carrying the torch for his father who established the business in 1968. Today, the practice still enjoys its community roots, steeped in family tradition.
For the past two decades, Dr. Meyers developed expertise in clinical skills by consistently building upon his knowledge. He relentlessly pursues post-graduate education to sharpen his skills, and has received extensive training in aestheic and restorative dentistry from Dr. Frank Spear at Arizonas prestigious Scottsdale Center for Dentistry and internationally recognized prosthodontistDr. Carl Misch of the Misch Interantional Impant Institute.Dr. Meyers commitment to stay current the latest developments provides his patients with the highest caliber of quality care.
During his successful career, Dr. Meyers gave back to his alma mater, serving as a clinical instructor at the University of Marylands School of Dentistry from 1992 until 1997. He hopes to return and teach again in the future, once he and his wife of 18 years, Monica, have finished raising their own three children.

Made me and my children feel so uncomfortable did work to my mouth my tooth keeps coming out it's like at dis point Dey keep collecting money and not showing good work for it I don't recommend these guys

This dentist experience is the best I've ever had! From making my first time appointment, to getting checked in, the friendly and knowledgeable staff and the thoroughness of Dr. Meyers!! The office space is state of the art and they have the latest in technology to make your visit comprehensive and efficient. I was having a serious issue and Dr. Meyers solved it. He listened to me, asked great questions and was detailed and patient in walking me thru the treatment plan. Can't wait for my husband to come for his cleaning, he's going to love it too!

I have been a patient of Dr. Meyers for about 15 years. He is a great dentist and you can always get in touch with him or his staff at anytime. I just had 2 dental implants done and he was great every step of the way. They feel very good and I will continue to have him as my dentist as long as here will have me. lol there has never been a time when I have had to call his office and someone always helped me. He has a great staff and everyone is very friendly. I live in Ocean City Md. and drive to Bowie every 6 months for my cleaning.

My daughter referred myself and her dad to Melford dental several years ago. What a blessing the day I met Dr. Lee Meyers and his staff! It is so rear these days to have people in a specialty to be so caring and attentive to the well being of the whole person as well as the issue at hand. The care received was not only professional but personal. Every member of the Melford family becomes your family. One of the most remarkable additives is that your visit can be your one shop stop. What I mean is this. This morning I arrived with a broken tooth. Big chunk gone. I left out with a new crown ready to go. In the past I have had to get a molding, molding had to be sent out, and I had to return for fitting and prayerfully placement. Unfortunately I have had to come back for a third time, for the same fitting. Here, one stop shop. You will not regret checking in with the Melford dental team. Today I was blessed and just want to pass the blessing on!

My family (me, husband, kids, parent) have been with Dr. Meyers for a long time. Great practice. Efficient service. Awesome staff including front desk & hygienists. My children are now young adults and continue coming to see Dr. Meyers. Says a lot that their services have inspired my now young adult son to be consistent about his dental care. Highly recommend this practice!

The hygienist there are awesome and I love my cleaning. The last time I went my experience was different due to the covid19 pandemic. I asked the receptionist a question and she blew me off which really bothered me. The office is well maintain and very clean as well.

A five star review for Dr. Lee Meyers! He is gentle, kind, and professional! He took his time to answer all of my questions and be sure I understood everything. His office is state of the art and so very fresh and clean. The staff are a welcoming and kind team who made me feel right at home. I am new to Baltimore and am so happy to find a wonderful family dentist who truly cares about their patients! Highest recommendation from this happy patient!

2 Horrible experiences DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! I received several bills from Dr. Myers's office for an X-ray for over $80. The bills were being mailed to my previous address where I no longer resided. Once I received the bills I called Dr. Myers's office because I had not recently gotten an X-ray. I spoke with their front desk staff and she informed me that the bill was for an X-ray that I had in March. I informed her that I was 7 months pregnant during that time and my last appointment was in November which was only for a cleaning. The front desk was adamant that I had an X-ray done and that if not with them then at another dental office. I explained that I would remember getting an X-ray, I had no need to get an X-ray during my 7th month of pregnancy, and that they made an error. I followed up with my insurance company and it was verified that the dental office made an error because no X-rays had been reported to them and my last x-ray was covered several years ago. When I called the front desk back to report what the insurance company stated she briefly acknowledged their error and then rushed me off the phone. She made no apology and did not give me any explanation as to why I received several bills and was rudely accused of receiving an X-ray. Incident 2- Years ago Dr. Lee Myers filled a cavity on the upper left side of my mouth. After the procedure floss repeatedly got stuck, the gum area was constantly irritated, and it was uncomfortable chewing. I informed the dentist of these issues several times and he would say it was nothing to worry about if it was not causing pain. On 6/2/19, while flossing the filling popped out of my mouth leaving a large hole in my tooth that was covered in decay. I called the dentist on Monday morning and was able to schedule an emergency appointment on 6/3/19. When I arrived the dental assistant informed me that my needed procedure would be fully covered because my last filling was several years ago. I also informed her that I had a new insurer as of November and she restated, you will not have to pay anything for your dental work. I was relieved because I believe the filling was not properly placed and had caused me years of discomfort. After the procedure, I stopped at the reception desk and was told I did not need to pay a co-pay. One month later I was shocked to receive a $461.75 bill for the procedure. When I called the front desk staff she said the staff had made a mistake and she explained the charges. I was skeptical of the bill due to my previous experience described in complaint #1. I was confused and frustrated because their dental staff stated multiple times at my appointment that my procedure was fully covered by my insurance. The front desk staff responded to my frustration with rude and condescending remarks during our call. This entire incident has caused me stress and I will no longer patronize Dr. Myers's dental office. I ask that they're thoroughly investigated because to tell a customer their service is $0 and then charge them $461.75 with no opportunity to decline the service or seek out other dental offices to do the procedure for a lower price can be considered fraud. With all this being said I am also experiencing pain and discomfort from the recent filling procedure Dr. Myers completed.
