Dr. Melcher is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has been providing exceptional orthodontic care in Louisville since 1986. He graduated in 1982 from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, and graduated from theIowa Department of Orthodontics with a Certificate of Specialization in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in 1984.
He has also served as President of the Colorado Orthodontic Association. Dr. Melcher regularly attends professional meetings and participates in numerous continuing education courses each year. He is active in various local civic and service organizations including the Louisville and Lafayette Chambers of Commerce. He has been selected as a 5280 Magazine top orthodontist every year since 2011, and as an East Boulder County Gold top orthodontist since 2017.
