Dr. Vallejos was born in California. She moved to Maui the first time when she was 19 years old and worked as a hostess/waitress at El Crab Catcher in Lahaina. She moved back to California to further her education. After graduating from the University of California San Diego, she attended the University of the Pacific School of dentistry in San Francisco where she worked for two years before moving back to Maui in 1995. Dr. V, as her staff calls her, has been involved in: The board of dental examiners for eight years Maui county dental society American Dental Association Five dental missions to two countries Seattle Study Club Instructor at UHMC
Dr. V strongly believes in continuing education and mission work and involves her staff.Special interests are leisure time with her husband and two children. Dental missions to foreign countries. She has a passion for anything food especially collecting personal recipes from people all over.

If I could give more stars, Dr. Vallejos and staff deserves it all. Dealing with anxiety of a dental visit all goes out the door once in the hands of Dr. Vallejos and her assistant. They are gentle, caring and so attentive to one's needs. Every visit has been nothing but sheer satisfaction. Besides my comforting experience, all my dental procedures have been taken cared of with perfection. I have not experienced any after pain or discomfort due the nature of her practice. I highly recommend Dr. Vallejos and staff for dental care. All the elements are there , gentle care, comfortable clean office, outstanding staff and quality perfection dental procedures .

Best Dentistry On Maui! Wonderful women who are really care about you and your dental health. I'm been going there for a year now. Since a year ago, I never cared so much about my teeth as I do now. The way they guide you to want better dental health, is not like anything I've experienced. They are wonderfully unique. I will be going there and will recommend people to go there for years to come.

5 STARS +. Highly recommend. I was seen quickly and fortunately given alot of advice and options. Everyone was very reassuring, patient and compassionate. The Office was very clean, professional, and even inviting. I will happily continue my future dental care here.

We LOVE Dr Melanie Vallejos, the staff is incredible and Dr is sweet, kind, patient. Explains evertying before doing the work. She is patient and all her staff are always happy to be there, a great sign of a great boss. Dr Vallejos has a massage chair as an option. That was so cool and yes I opt for in on the procedures. The office is super clean and the entire practice is top notch.

Such a wonderful experience! I'm wanting to get my teeth done and one of my good friends mention her office. I went in to get an estimate and some paper work done. All the workers at the office are so kind and professional. Especially the gentleman who was working at front. He offered beverages and made me feel so comfortable and relax. I had a bad experience that day before heading to the office but the young man and the ladies turned that around and I left so full of joy. I don't usually write reviews. But I had to share this with you all.

Let's face it.... who likes going to the dentist? It's certainly not the highlight of MY year, but my visits here are always been professional, prompt, and with genuine care. Having a flexible schedule always helps when getting a last minute appointment, but I've never had an issue with my regular cleaning. I always schedule those after I finish my appointment, and then I get a time that works for me. On those occasions I've had to change, multiple options have been provided. I really wish I didn't have to get in the chair so often but coming here makes it easier. Thank you staff of Dr Vallejos Dental.

I actually look forward to my dental appointments with Dr V! Along with exemplary care, compassion and attention to detail, there is an atmosphere of warmth, ease and humor that simply embraces you when visiting the office. They (Melanie, Mara, Nora and Alia) love their professions, their patients and each other - all in all, a wonderful experience. I wish I had fewer challenges with my teeth, but at least I get to visit on a regular basis!

I'm so glad I went there, from the moment I walked in, her staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Vallejos is so down to earth and as nervous as I was finding out that I needed to get a wisdom tooth extracted, it was over before I knew it, it was a smooth procedure and I didn't feel a thing.
