Dr. Mekari graduated with numerous honors and awards from LSU in Baton Rouge, with a degree in Microbiology. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1998. Dr. Mekari has comprehensive training and experience in many disciplines of dentistry. He acquired additional training during his senior year in advanced endodontics, dental lightening, indirect composite, dental implants, and esthetic periodontology. Additionally, he completed his externship at UMDS Dental School, Guy's Hospital, London, UK, and Assistance Hopitaux Publique de Paris Dental School in Paris, France.
Dr. Mekari actively participated in the clinical research of removing wisdom teeth, which was conducted by the Clinical Research Center in New Orleans, for the treatment of post-op dental pain. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association since 1998. He is also a current member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He exceeds the bi-annual hours of continuing education required by Louisiana State Board of Dentistry.

Kudos and Merci Beaucoup To Dr Mekari's Staff. Very Experienced Staff Tiffaney Bergeron I've Followed For years and an expert in Injectables, Lasers and a LOT of Experience.The teaching Team was also expert professionals that made me feel very Comfortable even down to EFT tapping which made me relaxed. the entire office and even Brooklyn at the front desk were friendly accommodating Most of all I had I'm GRATEFUL for incredible RESULTS that look VERY NATURAL. I did not imagine that a Groupon would lead me to a this gem of a med spa. Dr. Mekari truly takes the time to learn what serves you best with each visit. He is infinitely knowledgeable about effects, options, and expected outcomes for every treatment and treatment area. My first visit was focused on filler and dysport, and he explained many different options which would give the desired results. I am a nurse and I had alot of questions about PDO threads. He was really open and honest about developing a treatment plan the lasted and fir my budget. But I still decided to think about the PDO for a little longer. After my first treatment, his staff helped me schedule a follow-up visit - which was a surprise to me having never had an aesthetic provider care to follow up! After receiving such amazing care and follow up, I decided to try the PDO threads to tighten my chin and jawline, and to my delight and surprise, i saw continuous improvement in my chin over the next 2 weeks - and I continue to see improvement! I also want to mention that the pain management techniques Dr. Mekari uses is next level! I felt nothing, and had minimal swelling and no bruising. He has a gentle hand and is truly skilled. Also, his staff are amazing, and I never wait more than 3 minutes. I'm beyond grateful to have found Dr. Mekari and staff! My only and best recommendation for aesthetics!

Best of the best! I've been seeing Dr. Mekari for over a year for cosmetics and I'll never go anywhere else. He is super gentle, delivers perfect results, and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my face! He and his whole staff are absolutely wonderful, I'd give them a hundred stars if I could!

I am 46 and fighting a battle against age and determined not to give up without a fight just yet! I was referred to Dr. Mekari by a friend and have been pleased with all the results so far. The staff and Dr. Mekari are wonderful. They have been available to answer all my questions and walk me through every procedure. Brooklyn has became my go to person and is so knowledgeable. I recommend Dr. Mekari to all of my friends, and to those who can't believe I'm 46! Procedures I had at Mekari Dental Studio and Spa: Botox, cool (CO 2 )peel, Threading, and a subnovii plasma pen procedure. The first picture was 2018 the second 2020 and the last three pictures were taken this week!!

I went in yesterday for a botox a day filler appointment. I was about 45 mins early for my appointment, but they let me come inside and wait anyway instead of sitting in the car. The office is very nice, and Dr Mekari owns and works in the facility, which I personally appreciated. The assistants were all very kind and polite. I was there a little bit longer than I thought I would be, but I also had some questions about other procedures. Dr mekari was gentle and accommodating and answered all my questions. I'm looking to go back to get a pdo thread lift in a month or so.
