Born in Raytown, Missouri, Zachary Meiners, DDS (or just Dr. Zach) is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. He was one of only 23 students who participated in a six-year combined program to complete his biology degree as well as his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City. While at UMKC, he was the student instructor for both the Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs.
Since 2001, Dr. Zach has been in practice with his father, Dr. Don Meiners. Dr. Zach has been honored to participate in Give Kids a Smile, a nationwide dental charity day. He also volunteers at the St. Vincents Charity Center in Kansas City. Dr. Zach is a proud member of both the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, where he has served on the board of directors and was a delegate to the Missouri Dental Association. Additionally, Dr. Zach was featured in the Independence Examiner for his charity work.
Like his son, Dr. Zach, Dr. Meiners was also born in Raytown and has spent his life in the Kansas City region. UKMC is also his alma mater, and he earned his undergraduate biology degree there and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the UKMC School of Dentistry in 1975. Dr. Meiners is a member of the ADA, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater Kansas City Dental Society. He is a past president of the University Study Club and a four-time winner of Outstanding Program of the Year with the University Study Club. In his personal life, Dr. Meiners loves to spend time outdoors and dedicates himself to conservation and beekeeping.

This practice is one of the finest practices I've been involved with. Since my original dentist retired sometime back I've gone to 3 other dentists. Then it happened, I broke a tooth and my dentist couldn't be reached. God led me to call Dr. Minor and Zachery Minor answered the phone just out of the shower still wet. I told him what happened and he said "meet me at my office in 15 minutes". The staff is excellent, they're courteous,they're like an extended family. Dr Zachary was there when I needed him the most. He looked out for me instead of his own personal interests. I am so excited that God has led me to this practice.

I drive 26 miles, one way, and probably pass forty other dentists along the way because the entire staff at Dr. Meiners makes every visit a pleasant experience. Totally worth the drive and your smile is worth checking this dentist out!!

Dr. Zach is one if the best dentists I have ever gone to! He helped me through a horrible tooth issue before my wedding to which other dentists would have just pulled them. I have gone to him ever since then and know that he will do anything to the best of his ability to help! He is a very caring and knowledgeable dentist and do not see myself going to any other dentist in the future. Thanks Dr. Zach for all you do!

My husband and I absolutely LOVE this office! Dr. Zach always takes great care of us, his work is amazing and I whole heartedly trust him. Everyone is so kind and genuine. You can't help but feel welcomed here. The front desk gals are the sweetest, always taking great care of us when we arrive and leave and offer a level of customer service you truly cannot find anywhere else. All of the hygienist are great, and Taylor who usually helps when I am there or cleans my teeth is very personable and friendly. I wouldn't ever choose another dentist as long as I don't have to! Please don't go anywhere, you all truly make a difference Thank you!

When my 95 year old Aunt's upper dentures broke (made by a Florida dentist before she moved here) she was able to get in to see Dr Mainers Sr the same day and get her repaired Uppers back in just a few days. We are so grateful! Aunt V also had implants put in her Lowe gum to attach the lower denture and it has made eating much more pleasant for her.

Everyone at Meiners is so kind and helpful. They've worked with me for the last few years to get my smile where I want it. We have a bit more to go, but have a great plan. Any questions I have from the process to billing is easily answered. And scheduling is easy, always getting in right when I need it. Highly recommend to anyone with teeth

I love going to the dentist! Never thought I would say this, but everyone in this office is so incredibly nice and welcoming. They make you feel like you are a good friend. I would highly recommend them.

I needed a crown. The temporary one went in fine. I was told 2-3 weeks for the permanent crown to come in. It wasn't much more than a week when it arrived and was put in. A perfect fit. I don't think I ever had such a fine dental experience. Thanks to Dr. Zach Meiner and his kind, concerned and friendly staff.

The staff at Meiners Denistry is spectacular! Going to the dentist used to be something I truly dreaded. But when I come here it is a relaxing and actually entertaining. A family friend recommended Dr. Don Meiners when I had pain in one tooth and turned out to be 4 impacted teeth. I asked how he would put me out and he told me this funny story about dynamite and had me laughing and I was his fan forever. I opened my eyes and asked when it would be over and he said "its done". I was again relieved, laughing and no pain. He called me that evening to check on me. He does this with his patients after a surgery,, which I found so caring. I call him the NO PAIN doctor. From the moment you walk into Meiners Dentistry you are welcomed with a smile by Dana and Lori is the office manager and so lovely to work with too. From the birds singing in their glass house to the screen projecting Dr. Don's own photos of his flowers on his property, it is a very calming, beautiful setting. It's the first time in my life I have actually felt joy to come to my dentist, Dr. Don Meiners. Then, rotten kid that I am since 5 years old, my teeth were deteriorating, so Dr. Don suggested dentures. This journey was amazingly happy for me. Dr. Don created my new teeth himself, which he presented to me before Christmas. Dr. Don and Gigi came in Christmas Eve morning to adjust for me, which touched me so much I'm still glowing from this generous act of kindness. Thank you from my heart Dr. Don Meiners and to your team who all work so well together to make our patient experience so beautiful. My son, 3 adult grandsons and friends all rave and complement me on my beautiful new teeth and remark how natural they look.

I had the privilege of being referred to Meiners Dentistry by a dear family member and she did not let me down. But, even more than that, Meiners especially, did not let me down. They were kind enough to help me even though another dentist had started the work (a temporary crown, needed a permanent, was also having some pain) and we didn't get finished due to the whole Covid inconvenience. Dr. Zach, Gigi, and Taylor are fantastic and made me feel at ease with everything. They encouraged all my questions without allowing me to feel silly or insecure. The entire office is incredibly compassionate, courteous and ensure their patient is always comfortable and informed. It was pretty painless and there isn't a thing they could have done any better. These are the things that really matter when we have a choice about where to do our business. You will be pleased when you choose Meiners Dentistry too!
