Dr. Mei Lu graduated from University of Hong Kong School of Dentistry. Dr. Lu came to the United States and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2008. Dr. Lu is truly international academic, dentist, oral surgeon, and citizen. Dr. Lu has had extensive clinical, research, and teaching experience in several dental schools in China, Australia, Hong Kong, Canada and US. Following her studies at the Zhejiang Medical University in China where she received her first Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Dr. Lu continued her education earning a Master Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Zhejiang Medical University, a PhD at University of Hong Kong School of Dentistry withOutstandingAwardin 2003, followed by a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. She got her second DDS at the International Dentist Program at Loma Linda University, where she worked as an associate professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for 5 years after graduation. Dr. Lu is a well-known speaker for her dental research in national and international dental scientific conferences. She has published multiple original research and scientific papers. One of her papers was selected as the recipient of the 2013 Oral and Maxillofacial Foundation Daniel M. Laskin Award for the most outstanding article published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2012.Dr. Lu is the Faculty Advisor of the National Student Research Group for the American Association of Dental Research(AADR). Dr. Lu also serves as Table Clinic Judge for the California Dental Association (CDA).

Diana graduated with a bachelors degree from Utah college of Dental Hygiene in 2011. Since then she has worked on and off as a registered dental hygienist while also raising 3 children. Katie has been in dental field since 2013 as a registered dental assistant and she then continues her career to become a registered dental hygienist. She treats every patient as her family member and always loves to educate her patients how to keep clean their teeth and gum at home while she cleans their teeth on her chair. Dr Mei Lu is hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. I get very anxious when I have to go in but she is so patient with me and always makes sure I'm okay. She has done an amazing job with my teeth, a absolutely love my smile! The staff is wonderful too!

One of the best dentists I've ever been to. Dr. Lu is very kind, caring, and does excellent work. She spent time talking to me about the procedures she was performing and why she was doing then. She really cares about her patients, I cannot recommend her enough! Also the office staff was very attentive and makes scheduling appointments super easy.

I highly recommend Dr. Lu! She takes the time to explain what you need and make a plan for future care. They have state of the art technology for all of your needs. Simply said, she helped me to smile again after many years of hiding my teeth. Her kind manner took any fear right out of me. I have told her, if they could make silent equipment, it would be the perfect experience! Being open on Sunday is a bonus when you have an emergency or just can't get there any other day. She will be my Dentist until she retires one day :) You will love her staff as well, ALL very professional and welcoming! You are in good hands here! :)

My husband and I drive about 7 hours one way just to see Dr. Lu. That's how much we trust her. She is caring and very competent in what she does. We are forever grateful in the care she has given us.

Dr. Lu has been a dentist of my family members for many years. Since they have another dental office in Chino, we are still using her team's service even though we moved from Loma Linda to Walnut city. Dr. Lu is a warm-hearted dentist with solid educational background and long-term practice expertise. Dr. Lu's dental office is clean and neat, and her team members are courteous and professional.

I have never posted a review of a business until now. I obtained Dr. Lu's care by chance: My wife asked me to try it because of Dr. Lu's website. I went and have visited her office close to 10 times in more than a year and I know that I will stay with her for as along as both her office and I exist. Dr. Lu's is a very professional clinic, with what appears to be up-to-date facilities, well-spaced stations, and a front office that is run smoothly (They have never failed to remind me of appointments and are extremely accommodating for my idiosyncratic requests). Both Dr. Lu and her support staff have the best skills I know (based on my experience with several dental offices over the years). The hygienists are superb--thorough and gentle, for example. All of them are courteous and professional. You just feel comfortable! However, the best part of Dr. Lu's dental care IMO is the feeling that I got on every visit: she makes her decisions in my interest. She will explain your options and suggest one for you to pick. Once in a while, she will decide on what to do, and you will immediately feel that her decision is to benefit you, only you as her patient. As you can surmise, I have--ouch!--had some pretty complicated and serious dental work done in the past 14 months. I hope you don't have to go through what I have, but either yes or no, Dr. Mei Lu's office is worth checking out, even only for routine maintenance. For she will treat your teeth like her own. Ron

Prior to that, I always covered my month when I was smiling. Now I don't have to worry about it. A great smile impacts self-confidence. It was a life-changing experience. Dr. Lu is very professional and very thoughtful. Had a bad infection with one of my tooth one week before my vacation. Despite of her tight schedule before the holiday season, Dr. Lu had me in and did an emergent surgery for me. Now that I can have a "painless" break! Thank you, Dr. Lu! By the way, her staffs are also very friendly. Thumbs up!

I recommend Dr. Lu Mei and her amazing staff. They have gentle hands and give you sun glasses so that the overhead lights don't bother you. (And there's a tv above your seat for entertainment). They really care about making you comfortable. Another plus is that they are open on Sundays!
