Mehr Tucker, D.D.S. graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she wasa member of the Golden Key Honor Society. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where the high quality of her work culminated in her receiving the Frank C. Gerbi Award for Partial and Fixed Prosthodontics. She continually updates and refines her skills through numerous post-graduate courses every year.
Dr. Tucker has been treating residents of Montgomery County, Maryland and beyond since the year 2000. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Maryland Dental Association.
Before she became a dentist, Dr. Tucker was a talented visual artist who studied portrait painting and sculpture. She believes that good dentistry requires the eyes of an artist, the curiosity of a scientist, and a sincere desire to help people.
Star grew up in Duluth Minnesota and moved to Maryland in 2017, and now lives in Washington, DC with her dog Monty. She graduated with her associate degree in dental hygiene in 2011 from St. Cloud Technical and Community College in St. Cloud Minnesota. Star continued her education at Minnesota State University, Mankato and completed her bachelors degree in dental hygiene 2013. In her free time, Star enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, biking, hiking, music, and spending time with her friends and family.
Maryam Joined our Hygiene team in October of 2020. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in 2007 and has been practicing dental Hygiene in state of Maryland since then. She keeps up with the latest information in Oral health and patient care by attending continuing education courses and reading up on new methods and materials. Maryam enjoys teaching her patients about dental care or oral hygiene. Her sweet and caring personality in addition to her excellent skills and love of learning has been a great asset to our practice. Outside of work, Maryam enjoys spending time with her son and husband, learning new things, baking, and crafting.

I've found that I switch my dentist often because I'm not satisfied with the customer service or the service itself. But I can confirm that I've found a dentist that I plan to stick with! I'm very happy with the customer service and quality of the service here! This was a very pleasant experience beginning to end. Nehal has been very helpful with the new patient on boarding and answering any questions I had! She's super nice and very informative! Maryam, the dental hygienist, was super nice and she made me feel very comfortable. I'm not a fan of getting my teeth cleaned, but she made this a very pleasant experience. And Dr. Tucker was also very nice and answered any questions I had.

I am pleased with Dr. Tucker and the work she has done thus far . The office staff is super friendly and made me feel comfortable, and explained everything clearly to me . Dr. Tucker and her staff provide a friendly, efficient and highly professional dental practice. It is actually a pleasure to go the dentist! My appointment for November 5, 2019 is typical of the kind of service they provide: 1. I had to cancel an earlier appointment in early October and at that time they were so busy I could not get an appointment until January 2020. However, they were able to accommodate me for November 5 which my teeth appreciated very much. 2. Kelsey, the dental hygienist, did a great job cleaning my teeth, pointing areas and techniques that required attention and explaining things very well. She found an area of concern on my lower canine tooth. 3. Dr. Tucker examined the area of concern and applied antibiotics and other medicine which will hopefully resolve the issue without a trip to the periodontist. I am 65 y.o. and have seen a lot of dentists, but this group is as good as it gets.

I go there for years, always pleased with the professional service. It's clean and the waiting time is very short. After moving I tried a closer dentist but it was not the same kind of service I decided to stay with Dr Tucker.
