Dr. Craig Megibow is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. Following his graduation, he completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Megibow is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Connecticut State Dental Association. While continuing his education, Dr. Megibow has been a regular attendee of the CSDAs annual meeting for many years.

I started at Megibow Family Dental in August of 2019.Since then I've moved up in the company and enjoy progressing in the dental field. I also oversee the creative input that goes into advertising and social media relations.

In administrationwe work together to ensure everything goes smoothly withbusiness and scheduling. We pride ourselves on our patient communications and relations.We communicate with theinsurance companies and the in between to handle finances, treatmentplansas well as answer all questions and concerns efficiently.

Although I am one of the newest employee's here at Megibow Family Dental, I have worked in health care for 11 years now. I am a mom of three. One girl, two boys of whom I am incredibly proud of - They keep me quite active and on my toes! In my free time I enjoy watching my daughter perfect her craft on the court as she dreams of making it to the WNBA one day and watching my son out on the football field. My children are the light of my world. My greatest joy in life. When I am not here in the office I am soaking up as much time with my kiddos as I can!

I provide chair side assistance to Dr. Megibow during dental proceduresto ensurehe has everything needed to provide excellent patient care. I began working with Dr. Megibow in 2000 but my career in assisting started in 1992. I had wonderful hands-on training and several years of experience in oral surgery before coming here. I enjoy getting to know our patients and the relationships Ive developed with them over the years. Our staff is my work family. We all work well together, know each other very well, and genuinely enjoy spending time together.

I spend one-to-one time with patients and performregular and deep cleanings, takeX-rays, and provideoral hygiene instruction. I love helping people learn the best way to keep their mouth in great conditionfor years of beautiful smiles! Ive had the pleasure of spending 18 of my 40-plus years in dentistry here with Dr. Megibow. The team effort and friendships Ive made haveme excited to come to work every day.

I have two daughters of whom I am incredibly proud. When Im not in the office I enjoy spending time with my girlfriends, being active in church, going snow skiing, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks!

I began my career in dentistry in 1972 as an assistant, and continued my training to become a dental hygienist. I am especially proud of my career becauseI went back to college full time in my 30s. It wasnt easy being a mom, wife, classroom mom, and full-time student, but it taught my children that if I could fulfill my childhood dreams, so could they. Now, as an RDH, I am able to assess my patients needs on an individual basis, provide preventive care, and review home care customized to each persons ability. I take great pride in being able to put my patients at ease, regardless of their age.

I graduated from both Tunxis Community College and UConnwith degreesin Dental Hygiene and Human Development & Family Studies. Ive been apart of Dr. Megibows team since 2008. I lovebeing a dental hygienist for many reasons. I enjoy building relationships with my patients andearning their trust by giving them a comfortable dental experience. Educating patients on proper oral home care is key to achieving a healthy smile. Shopping for oral health products can get overwhelming,so I like to narrow their choices downto their specific needs.

I reside in Wolcott with my daughter Ellie. When Imnot working I spend most my time bringingEllie to her sporting events, dance, or Girl Scoutmeetings. I enjoy goingfor walks,staying active,crafting,vacations, warm weather, andspending timewith family and friends.

For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule.
