Dr. Shokri is amazing with kids! She explains to the parent what needs to be done, the options and how to proceed. During any procedure she speaks directly with the child, is encouraging, nice and makes them feel at ease. We really love the office staff too; very kind and helpful.
Dr. Mojgan Shokri provides a thorough and customized approach to dental care for her patients throughout Los Angeles at her practice, Mega Bite Dental in Woodland Hills, California. With an intense focus on preventative care, Dr. Shokri helps her patients to improve and protect their dental health with a range of services including, but not limited to, cosmetic and general dentistry, preventative periodontal treatments, soft tissue laser dentistry, 3D scans and imaging, sleep apnea treatment, TMJ treatment, Chao's Pinhole Rejuvenation Technique (pinhole surgery) and orthodontics, including Invisalign.
Dr. Shokri completed her dental degree at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago and offers over 20 years of dental experience. Before earning her dental degree, Dr. Shokri graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in biomedical engineering and a master's degree in pharmaceutics. In her graduating class, Dr. Shokri was awarded the Quintessence Award in Dentistry (award of excellence). Her patients, as a result, benefit greatly from many aspects of her expertise.
Despite her vast number of certifications, Dr. Shokri chooses to further her education frequently to better tend to her patient's needs. With her strong focus on preventative care, Dr. Shokri's goal is to help her patients maintain a clean and healthy mouth. Dr. Shokri's soft touch makes every procedure virtually painless due to her extensive knowledge of human anatomy and dental technology. Her attention to detail never goes unnoticed and she always puts the needs of patients first, being sure to explain treatments as in-depth as possible for the patients benefit.
On a personal note, Dr. Shokri has a profound interest in self-improvement in both physiological and emotional well-being. Aside from doing yoga, she enjoys utilizing her leisure time reading self-improvement books. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, Dr. Shokri dedicates as much of her personal time as she can in supporting children's charities that promote better care for children in regards to schools and healthcare. Aside from monetary contributions, Dr. Shokri will contribute her own time to attend certain charity functions, as well as research ways to improve the treatment of particular ailments of kids. one of the best places i have every gotten my teeth fix. the staff is super nice and are super informative. Always welcoming whenever I open the door. honestly I can't think of any other place to get my teeth fix. Mega bite dental rocks when it comes to fixing teeth.

If you're looking for a dentist and a team that really loves what they do and cares about their patients, this is the one! The entire staff is very kind and accommodating. You can tell that they are a well working team, like a little work family. They explain the process of any work you're getting done thoroughly and walk you through step by step. Everyone's very knowledgeable with great feedback on how to improve your dental health. During fillings and cleanings they continue to check that you're comfortable through the whole thing. I haven't had any pain or discomfort at all. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shokri :)

From the very first time that I stepped at Mega Bite Dental I felt that I mattered. The staff and Dr. Shokri are second to none. They are sincerely interested in listening to the patients and patients' concerns. I was referred to Dr. Shokri because of my TMJ, and after a few months of being under her care, my TMJ is getting better. Dr. Shokri definitely knows how to help the patients, and the staff is always polite, pleasant, and truly care for their patients. Totally happy. Not only was I able to get an awesome cleaning and exam. They were also able to do my botox treatment during the same visit. Really nice Drs and assistants. Efficient, professional, and extremely friendly. Would recommend!

Took my son in for braces at Megabite. They have all the latest technology and Dr. Shokri went over everything fully before we proceeded. I thought the 3d scanning was very cool considering I remember having to do plaster impressions when I had my braces done. Plus the brackets look smaller now too. He has a super smile now. So happy with the results and personalized care that was given to him throughout his braces journey. We've decided to take our entire family to Dr. Shokri for all our dental needs because of the great care he received.

Fives stars in every aspect. The staff is extremely competent, patient, kind & helpful. The office itself is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Easy to get appointments. Never a long wait and I receive the absolute best care possible. Dr. Shokri has impeccable bedside manners and takes her time to explain treatments and procedures so I never feel nervous about what is being done. Have been a patient for the last few years and have found my "forever dentist".
