Born in Durban, South Africa, Dr. Roher moved with her family to New York as a young child. In 1989, her family relocated to Athens, GA, where she has happily taken root since then. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in French from the University of Georgia before continuing her education by earning her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia.

In addition to Dr. Rohers professional affiliations, our family dental team also follows the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry to schedule your child for an enjoyable 'first visit by first birthday' experience with our compassionate, professional dentist and her staff.

A great hygienist, with a remarkable ability to connect and understand her patients concerns, is how Dr. Roher describes Jennifer. My patients rave about Jennifer and how comfortable and confident they feel when they are in her chair, said Dr. Roher. Jennifer Dragon, RDH is native to the area. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in 2001. Jennifer has been a wonderful addition to the Medical Arts dental team since 2013.

Melissa joined Medical Arts Dentistry in 2014. Originally from Rochester, New York she moved to Savannah, when she was ten years old. She appreciates first hand why folks choose to live in beautiful coastal Georgia. She has worked in customer service for over 12 years and strives to offer the best customer service our patients. Since joining our team, Melissa describes one of her most enjoyable experiences has been getting to know our patients and their families.
