Implants are surgical grade titanium posts that are surgically placed beneath the gums. These are designed to replace the roots of teeth that have been extracted in the past. Implants fuse to the bone, acting as artificial tooth roots. Replacement teeth (removable or non-removable) are are then attached to the implants.
Laser stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, and it is used to remove caries (decay) from teeth without use of a local anesthetic. Biopsies may be performed and bone can be contoured in this manner. It is also an effective treatment for canker sores and ulcers.
Dental bridges are restorations that fill the gap where a tooth is missing. The pontic (filler tooth) is attached to two surrounding teeth by crowns. The bridge is then cemented into the teeth. Patients that have spaces in the mouth may require a bridge to keep multiple teeth from shifting.
This dental treatment is used to repair teeth that have become infected or show signs of decay. During the procedure, the pulp and nerve are removed, and the insides of the tooth are cleaned then sealed. The last step is to place a crown on the newly cleaned tooth. This will keep it from breaking in the future.

Following her BS degree in biochemistry and cell biology from University of California San Diego in 1994, Dr. Najafi pursued her doctorate degree at University of California San Francisco. Her post-doctorate program in cutting edge general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry was completed at UCLA, and after opening her dental practice in Santa Monica in 2002, she moved her new dental practice to Irvine, CA, in 2009.
A caring and gentle dentist, Dr. Shawn Bruening, has helped hundreds of patients overcome anxiety about going to the dentist. She helps patients become more interested in their oral health by taking time to educate and patients recognize her genuine care.

I am very happy with the quality and care that this dentist office provides for their patients. Everything they do is transparent and professional and kind. I was treated by Dr Mossavi who is a miracle doctor, super efficient, carrying, great communication, great attitude, love the guy. The first day I came, I got the cleaning done and tooth extraction, it was a smooth process. Second time, He fixed 3 of my teeth and put on a crown too. Super efficient, does the job done and gives great advices. Special thanks to Kim who also did a great job with my deep cleaning, thank you.

The best dentist!!! He goes above and beyond to help me keep my teeth healthy. Teeth are genetic and some of us are just born with teeth that are going to give us trouble, No matter what. But I never have to worry Cause he makes sure that my teeth are perfect. Not only did Dr. Kashani return my phone call personally when my mom needed emergency dental work, but he was able to squeeze her into his schedule the very next day and fix the problem. Now that's a good doctor!

Unprofessional, greedy. All they care about is money. They don't care about you and your health as a patient. Their mindset is more like used car salesmen than a dentist. Stay away as far as you can and find yourself a real dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kashani for more than 15 years. I've followed him from Santa Ana, to Huntington Beach and now to Irvine. Thanks to him I never dread my dental appointment. He does great work, always with a smile and kind word. His entire staff is great, especially the hygienist Kimia! Dr. Najafi is also fantastic and very thorough. They all truly care about their patients and make you feel very comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Great team . I have been coming to this office for many years now and I have always had great experience. Dr. Kashani is very professional, knowledgeable, and honest (extremely difficult to find nowadays)! He is very thorough and explains details. Kimia (Dental Hygienist) is very nice and her work is just great. Also, front office are very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend them.

Kashani has been my family dentist from last eighteen years. His work and dedication are truly commendable. My husband got a bridge and veneer done with him seventeen years ago and they are still as good as new, same is true for my treatment too. Not only is he honest but also meticulous. I always look forward to my teeth cleaning at Dr. Kashani's. I've been a patient of his since I was four. He saved my permanent tooth when it was accidentally knocked out at the age of 7, and came to fix it in the middle of the night. Now in my twenties, I live in Phoenix, Arizona and still drive/fly to Irvine just to see him. As long as he has his practice, I refuse to see or trust anyone else. Highly recommend if you're seeking excellent dental care.
