Dr. Nancy Lee graduated with honors from Indiana University earning her dental degree in 1983 and opened her first office in Southern California soon after. She has been practicing dentistry for more then 20 years and has a true passion for the art and science of dentistry. She is continually keeping up to date with the latest techniques to improve your care. Her many satisfied patients, from all over Southern California, look forward to their visits and catching up with Dr. Lee about their lives.
As a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Dentists Dr. Lee receives advanced training in cosmetic dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the OKU Dental Honor Society, the San Fernando Valley Dental Society and a Diplomat in the International Congress of Implantology. Dr. Lee realizes the importance of these memberships as an established professional in her field.
Dr. Lee's practice in the Burbank area caters to the needs of her patients. The design of the building and the interior express her artistic abilities as well as her desire to provide state of the art equipment to her patients with the most advanced dental techniques available today. The office has the latest in radiology and sterilization equipment as well as intra-oral cameras to see before and after images and for those of us that are a bit tense in the dental atmosphere, Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) is available. Dr. Lee's practice also has a special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and dental implants as well as preventive care.
In her spare time she supports her local community, enjoys hiking high mountain peaks, exploring caves, snow skiing, parasailing, traveling and in her quiet moments she enjoys classical music, reading history and spending time with her dogs.
Dr. Aghbashian started his career as an international dentist in 1997. Since then he has continued to expand his base of dental knowledge and skill by completing a combined specialty residency/master degree program in Conservative Dentistry as well as hundreds of hours of continuing education at fine institutions across the world.
After performing a wide range of dental services for 3 years in Germany and to further fulfill his passion toward challenges; Dr. Aghbashian pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in the US from the Advanced Dental Program at University of Californian, San Francisco School of Dentistry and graduated with distinction. Upon graduation, he joined our office and further fulfills his academic passion at the Western University of Health Sciences as a faculty member and Clinical Team Leader.
Throughout his career, Dr. Aghbashian was committed to make every effort to create uniquely enjoyable and comfortable experiences for his patients. He believes strongly enough in his abilities and skills to deliver high quality dental care for his patients with exceptional professionalism and almost pain free experience. Focusing on patients oral health as a whole, he works to build a long-term rapport with his patients.
His quality of care, professionalism towards patients and enthusiasm towards advanced education acquired him multiple awards both locally and internationally throughout his career. He is currently an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Applied Dental Laser Study Club.
Dr. Yates is originally from El Paso, Texas. After receiving his Bachelors Degree from the University of California, he began a dental education in Northern Mexico. He received his first degree in dentistry from the prestigious Universidad Autnoma de Ciudad Jurez, and afterwards completed a year of dental residency at the Mexican Institute of Social Security Hospital. During his residency, Dr. Yates provided dental care to low income and underserved individuals and families, and he regularly gave lectures on dental care within the hospital. After completing this residency, Dr. Yates continued his dental education at the University of Minnesota-School of Dentistry where he was selected to represent the University for a semester abroad at the University of Greifswald-School of Dentistry, in Germany.
After receiving his dental degree from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Yates was selected into a General Practice Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He worked alongside specialists from several different medical disciplines and regularly treated medically compromised patients, including those in an emergency operating room setting. High standards of care and patient satisfaction are of great importance to Dr. Yates. Knowing his patients are at ease and as comfortable as possible is a priority for him. Outside of work, Dr. Yates enjoys travelling, particularly the joy of experiencing new cultures and food and the opportunity to photograph fun and exciting new places. He also enjoys listening to various music genres, cooking, spending time with family, reading, and playing basketball.
Dr. Wasserstein grew up in the San Fernando Valley and attended Granada Hills High School. He completed Dental School at the UCLA School of Dentistry, and then he received a Certificate in Periodontics from Emory University. Since 1990, Dr. Wasserstein has been in private practice in the Santa Clarita Valley where he specializes in Dental Implant Surgery. He is a member of several organizations including the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Wasserstein is the chairman of the Santa Clarita Valley Academy of Restorative Excellence which inspires, educates and promotes excellence in restorative dentistry. He also created and maintains the website Periodontist.org to provide consumer information about Periodontics.
