Dr. Nancy Lee graduated with honors from Indiana University earning her dental degree in 1983 and opened her first office in Southern California soon after. She has been practicing dentistry for more then 20 years and has a true passion for the art and science of dentistry. She is continually keeping up to date with the latest techniques to improve your care. Her many satisfied patients, from all over Southern California, look forward to their visits and catching up with Dr. Lee about their lives.
As a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Dentists Dr. Lee receives advanced training in cosmetic dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the OKU Dental Honor Society, the San Fernando Valley Dental Society and a Diplomat in the International Congress of Implantology. Dr. Lee realizes the importance of these memberships as an established professional in her field.
Dr. Lee's practice in the Burbank area caters to the needs of her patients. The design of the building and the interior express her artistic abilities as well as her desire to provide state of the art equipment to her patients with the most advanced dental techniques available today. The office has the latest in radiology and sterilization equipment as well as intra-oral cameras to see before and after images and for those of us that are a bit tense in the dental atmosphere, Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) is available. Dr. Lee's practice also has a special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry and dental implants as well as preventive care.
In her spare time she supports her local community, enjoys hiking high mountain peaks, exploring caves, snow skiing, parasailing, traveling and in her quiet moments she enjoys classical music, reading history and spending time with her dogs.
Dr. Aghbashian started his career as an international dentist in 1997. Since then he has continued to expand his base of dental knowledge and skill by completing a combined specialty residency/master degree program in Conservative Dentistry as well as hundreds of hours of continuing education at fine institutions across the world.
After performing a wide range of dental services for 3 years in Germany and to further fulfill his passion toward challenges; Dr. Aghbashian pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in the US from the Advanced Dental Program at University of Californian, San Francisco School of Dentistry and graduated with distinction. Upon graduation, he joined our office and further fulfills his academic passion at the Western University of Health Sciences as a faculty member and Clinical Team Leader.
Throughout his career, Dr. Aghbashian was committed to make every effort to create uniquely enjoyable and comfortable experiences for his patients. He believes strongly enough in his abilities and skills to deliver high quality dental care for his patients with exceptional professionalism and almost pain free experience. Focusing on patients oral health as a whole, he works to build a long-term rapport with his patients.
His quality of care, professionalism towards patients and enthusiasm towards advanced education acquired him multiple awards both locally and internationally throughout his career. He is currently an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Applied Dental Laser Study Club.
Dr. Yates is originally from El Paso, Texas. After receiving his Bachelors Degree from the University of California, he began a dental education in Northern Mexico. He received his first degree in dentistry from the prestigious Universidad Autnoma de Ciudad Jurez, and afterwards completed a year of dental residency at the Mexican Institute of Social Security Hospital. During his residency, Dr. Yates provided dental care to low income and underserved individuals and families, and he regularly gave lectures on dental care within the hospital. After completing this residency, Dr. Yates continued his dental education at the University of Minnesota-School of Dentistry where he was selected to represent the University for a semester abroad at the University of Greifswald-School of Dentistry, in Germany.
After receiving his dental degree from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Yates was selected into a General Practice Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He worked alongside specialists from several different medical disciplines and regularly treated medically compromised patients, including those in an emergency operating room setting. High standards of care and patient satisfaction are of great importance to Dr. Yates. Knowing his patients are at ease and as comfortable as possible is a priority for him. Outside of work, Dr. Yates enjoys travelling, particularly the joy of experiencing new cultures and food and the opportunity to photograph fun and exciting new places. He also enjoys listening to various music genres, cooking, spending time with family, reading, and playing basketball.
Dr. Wasserstein grew up in the San Fernando Valley and attended Granada Hills High School. He completed Dental School at the UCLA School of Dentistry, and then he received a Certificate in Periodontics from Emory University. Since 1990, Dr. Wasserstein has been in private practice in the Santa Clarita Valley where he specializes in Dental Implant Surgery. He is a member of several organizations including the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Wasserstein is the chairman of the Santa Clarita Valley Academy of Restorative Excellence which inspires, educates and promotes excellence in restorative dentistry. He also created and maintains the website Periodontist.org to provide consumer information about Periodontics.

I'd always somewhat dreaded dentist appointments (anxiety), but I've almost started looking forward to them since I started going to Media Center Dental. This practice is filled with the absolute friendliest, kindest people who will go above and beyond to listen to you and make you feel comfortable. I literally went home after my first appointment and told all my friends about how nice everyone there is. Definitely go here!!

I have been coming here since 2016, and I would literally never trust anyone else with my teeth. Everyone at Media Center Dental is incredibly kind, I always learn a better technique to care for my teeth before leaving, and my teeth health has truly improved since I've been coming here. Anyone would be lucky to be a patient here!

I recently had 2 very old crowns replaced and several cavities treated/repaired. The staff at Media Center Dental has been top notch in every way. The front desk personnel have been very helpful with scheduling and obtaining the necessary prior-approvals from my insurance. Allyson did an amazing job fitting the temporary crowns. Dr. Lee, however, goes well above what any other dentist has ever done for me. I had a minor problem with one of my temporary crowns and I called the office for guidance. The receptionist advised that Dr. Lee was not going to be in the office that day but she advised me that she would contact Dr. Lee and call me back. Within 10 minutes I received a call-back from the office and Dr. Lee said she would meet me at the office in about 2 hours. Dr. Lee cares about her patients and she made a special trip to the office to assist me with my problem. Dr. Lee completed my treatment and I left the office feeling very fortunate to have a dentist who really does care about her patients and was available when I needed her assistance. Thank you Media Center Dental and thank you Dr. Lee.

Office personnel is very professional and Dr. Yates does an excellent job of communicating during the procedure. He is also the epitome of what you want your dentist to be. I had a dentist that served me going back to 1973 but he retired a few years back. I can now say I have a new dentist that I can depend on for all of my future dental procedures. Thank you Media Dental and Dr. Yates.

Service is good, but I've only been here twice and both times I've had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment to be seen. Not sure if it's common, or just a unique experience.

I have been going to Dr. Lee's Media Center Dental for a number of years, occasionally at first and now she's my regularly scheduled dentist. She and her staff are genuinely concerned both about each patient's teeth and also any underlying medical condition that could be impacting your dental health. Dr. Lee and her staff exhibit great professionalism and have excellent skills for almost, almost a pleasant cleaning. In addition to my cleanings, I've had two fillings and splint made and they did a great job on those too. Highly recommended to anyone. Thanks

As being new to the area I was referred to Media Center Dental several years ago and highly recommend them for all your dental needs. The dentists and staff are extremely professional, courteous and best of all the services are reasonably priced.

I went to Dr. Lee's office based on the reviews. It was the worst decision I made. I just went in for a cleaning and they said I needed 3 crowns. I never had any problems with my teeth . I trusted them and got the 3 crowns from Dr.Yates. Again, this was the worst decision. I've had problems with all the crowns and I had to get a root canal on one of the crowns that Dr. Yates did because the crown got infected. I will never go back to this office . They are just out to take your money . My teeth have not been same since I went to this office ! I would never recommend Dr Lee or Dr .Yates. I did not want to give even 1 star for the review.

Dr. Lee is amazing and truly listened to my fear and concerns. She was honest and did not look at me as just a dollar sign. I really appreciate her showing me and explaining the cavities she was fixing during my treatment. It just shows that she is truly passionate about what she does. She is honest and was able to save my tooth from a really big cavity. Another dentist told me I needed a root canal and thanks to Dr. Lee's knowledge she saved my tooth. I am willing to drive over 20 minutes to see Dr. Lee, because she is absolutely passionate and cares about her patients oral care.

I lost a tooth while visiting Burbank called nancy lee office and she took me in right away, I moved out Burbank 7 years ago and they treated me as if I never left. And anyone who knows me, they know I'm not a fan of dentists but nancy Lee changed my entire attitude toward dentists and I'm telling you if you have any problem with your teeth you CANNOT find a better dentist or staff period. So from someone who had a ton of teeth problems because for years I refused to go to dentists but after one visit. I knew I could find a better dentist or her amazing staff. So go see dr. Nancy Lee you too will become a believer in her professionalism and the from her amazing staff. Dont be stubborn like I was go see her she will help you
