Dr. Medema is licensed as an endodontic specialist by the State of Michigan. Dr. Medema is a Diplomate in the American Board of Endodontics and he is one of the only Board Certified endodontists practicing in Grand Rapids, MI. He received degrees in dentistry from the University of Michigan (UofM) as well as the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Medema is married to his wife Lorene who practices medicine as an OBGYN. They are excited to see what God has in store for their lives as they continue to serve the community in West Michigan.
Beth graduated from the GRCC dental assisting program and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has been working with Medema Endodontics since July 2014. Outside of the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Nikaysha is a registered dental assistant who graduated from the dental assisting program at Grand Rapids Community College. She has been working for our team since the spring of 2017. Outside of the office, Nikaysha enjoys rock climbing and spending time with her husband and children.
Emily joined our team in October of 2016 and serves as our office manager. She has been working in the dental field since 2013. Outside of the office Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

If you ever need a root canal this is the place to go. Dr. Medema and his staff are excellent can't recommend then enough.

I am immensely grateful to Dr. Medema and the care I received for a root canal! I had been having problems for a few months - unable to chew on one side and radiating pain through my upper and lower teeth. I called the office and they got me in the next day! The procedure went so smoothly and he really put me at ease. It's been a couple of days and I have zero pain! I can't recommend Dr. Medema enough. Thanks, Doc!!

Dr. Brent Medema is part of the reason I am an endodontist today. He is an excellent clinician and a genuine, kindhearted individual. If you need a root canal in Caledonia, he's the guy!

Dr. Medema was a total life saver! I needed to have a root canal during an extended trip back to Michigan and he went above and beyond to fit me into his schedule. I was so nervous ahead of time but he put me completely at ease and the whole process was relatively painless. Dr Medema was so professional, gentle and thorough. His assistant Beth was also wonderful. I can't recommend Dr. Medema and his team enough.

Root Canal is not something the average person wants hear, let alone go through. I was referred to Dr Medema by my new dentist and I have nothing but rave reviews for the entire office. Dr Medema was kind and answered all my questions. The procedure was pretty awesome really. He has state of the art equipment and it is very obvious that he is skilled in his trade. The procedure was painless, and I had no pain afterward. I cannot say enough good about him and his assistants. If you have to have the dreaded root canal, or need any other endodontic procedures, you could not find a better office than this one!!!

Can't say enough good things about the care I have received twice now at Dr. Medema's office. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and reduce your anxiety. I now live in NC and when I suddenly needed a rather urgent root canal and with an already planned trip to the area, they were able to get me in on short notice. 1000+ miles for a root canal and completely worth it!! So very highly recommended.

As someone who has always struggled with being completely numb before dental work, my experience at Medema Endodontics was simply the best I've ever had. My root canal was completely painless thanks to Dr. Medema and I'm happy to report that I no longer have any sensitivity! On top of that, his office is beautiful and comfortable and he makes you feel entirely at home. Highly recommend!

We were referred to Dr. Medema's office over a year ago after my daughter had a biking accident. She had to have a root canal done on her front tooth as she knocked her adult tooth right out a few days before. From the first phone call the staff was kind and caring. They were quick to get her in and communicated with us and her dentist. Dr. Medema was absolutely amazing with her. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. When she was done she had no pain and did not even need Motrin. I could not have asked for a better experience. Fast forward to last week, she had some discoloration/ mineral leaching develop on her tooth and this really bothered my daughter. Dr. Medema explained to us what was happening and that he could flush it back out and do some bleaching. We did this and my daughter (who is 9) again walked right out as if nothing even happened, and extremely happy with the way her tooth looks. This biking incident was very traumatizing for my daughter (and me). We both really appreciate this office. I highly recommend Dr. Medema, He truly knows what he is doing and takes the time and care with his patients.

I was very nervous prior but was quickly put at ease with Dr. Medema and his wonderful staff. I never thought I would be grateful for a root canal but my experience at Medema Endodontics was calming and painless. Dr. Medema did a fantastic job and thankful for him and his team!
