Dr. Funke was so kind and really listened to what I was saying. He did a lip, tongue and cheek tie release on my two week old son. It was a quick 15 minutes. They cared for my son like he was their own. I highly recommed.

We were able to get in for consult and oral ties release in less than a week. They actually had an opening the day we called but we couldn't make that work. Dr. Funke is personable and professional. His staff from front desk to dental hygienist/assistant are also wonderful. Currently only dentist in Rochester, MN that does ties, including buccal. He shared his personal family story about oral ties, also available on his website. That connection really helps you feel confident in his passion to help.

English language does not have the proper words to describe how fantastic Dr. Funke and his staff are. Absolutely the very best and if you visit this place, you will see it for yourself. Exceptional service. Very courteous, helpful, winning manners, and kind staff - across the board. I took my mom and Tanna helped and was superb. Others were wonderful just as much. As for Dr. Funke, very smart doctor. Gives you all options and provides care that is second to none.

Anna did an excellent job on my teeth cleaning yesterday, very thorough and informative. Dr Funke has done an outstanding job for me in all the areas of dentistry they offer. I fell 3 years ago breaking my front teeth and now have beautiful new caps on them thanks to the patience and teamwork of Dr Funke and other experts in Rochester. Dr Funke provided great care and service throughout the process. His skills in alignment, filling, capping, whitening, and maintenance are all fantastic and add his patience and wonderful personality to that. He is a great dentist and friend through it all!

There I was. Alone in Minnesota. Visiting from out of state. When the worst thing that can happen to a person happened to me. Tooth pain. I quickly asked the heavens for the best place in town to receive dental care and within seconds my Fruit Loops(tm) formed into the words "Med City Dental" I immediately called to schedule my appointment and got booked for the next day. That night I lie awake fearing the worst. Would the dentist steal all of my teeth? Make me sing show tunes? Fear gripped me that night, but when I awoke the next morning a wave of tranquility swept over me knowing that all would be well. I arrived to the dentist office and immediately dropped my phone and cracked my screen. Not at all their fault or relevant to this review just a tragic thing that happened to me. Anyways once I emotionally recovered from that I went into the exam room and met the two most absolutely sweetest people I have ever met in a dentist office. Dare I say in the entire STATE of Minnesota? I was cared for perfectly. I felt like an injured baby bird who had been nursed back to health. Never in my life have I had so much fun at a dentists office. Starting today I will never brush my teeth again in the hopes that I can find another reason to visit them. 10/10 would recommend

Anna, the hygienist, was excellent. Very friendly, efficient and gentle. She explained everything very well. Dr. Funke performed a thorough examination as usual. Another great experience!

My family and I were patients of Dr. Carlson and Med City for 38 years. This was the first time visiting Dr. Funke at Med City Dental. The entire staff was friendly and responsive. They followed up with what they promised. Dr. Funke also utilizes state of the art technologies in his practice. For eg, he was able to create a digital image of the crown I needed, print it on a 3D printer and install it all in less than 2 hours.

Dr. Funke provides exceptional service and does excellent work! I had an emergency and he went out of his way to make time to fix my problem in quickest way possible. Facilities, technology he uses, and his skills are the best!

Absolutely amazing care provided by not only Dr funke but the entire team! We came here after being referred by our chiropractor for our 1 week old daughter was having issues nursing and I was in a lot of pain. We had her evaluated for oral ties and she was found to have a lip tie and posterior tongue ties. They were able to get us scheduled immediately the next day when I called and they revised them on the spot! I had immediate relief with nursing and her latch is noticeably different and more deep/wide. This has saved our nursing experience and I am forever grateful. I'll be bringing my 2 year old son here from now on as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Funke at Med City Dental! After over 30 years with the same dentist it was daunting to make a change, but Dr. Funke is professional, kind, and skillful - making the switch has been painless (in more ways than one!).
