Dr. Mecca is a 1989 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry, with a BA in biology from SUNY (State University of New York) in Oneonta, New York, where he graduated in 1985. Dr. Mecca continues his education annually and has been practicing for the last 27 years. He is a member of the AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and DOCS; he also has a certificate in oral conscious sedation. Dr. Meccas goal as a dentist in to provide the best treatment possible in the most comfortable environment.

Diana has been with the practice for eight years. She graduated in 2010 from SUNY Canton with an A.A.S in Dental Hygiene. Diana loves her job and the dental team she works with daily. She loves the fact that everyone gets along and works well together; she also loves when she is able to help people and better their health. Diana goes above & beyond to make our office a comfortable place and to make patients happy. She contributes to the practice by being a positive and happy person, and she strives to do the best work she can for each patient.
Diana enjoys playing with her fur baby, her dog, Oakley. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling to the beach and ocean for a weekend getaway, playing golf and volleyball, hiking, and running with her dog.
Jenna has two dogs, Ace and Lilly, and two cats, Bonz and Tiny. When she is not at the office, Jenna enjoys taking weekend trips. She loves being in the outdoors, enjoying the warm weather. Jenna always looks forward to fishing, camping and boating, and being in her pool on a sunny day.
Sarah graduated from Broome Community College with her associates degree in dental hygiene in 2011. She joined our team in March 2019. Sarah loves the teamwork in our office, and enjoys knowing that she is working alongside other dedicated professionals like herself. She brings a warm and inviting personality with her, and goes above and beyond to make our patients feel at ease while in our office.
Sarah and her husband, Justin, have one dog, Jack, and one cat, Izzy. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new places, going camping, home improvements and spending time with her husband in their first home.

I first tried a retail dentist after having a toothache and my original dentist retired. They didn't seam interest in fixing the problem, and made the pain worse during the exam. I wouldn't go back Then I went to Mecca Dental. They were very nice and very careful not to cause more pain. Everyone in the office seamed happy to help and this was just my first visit!

New patient as of yesterday. Tremendous fear of the dentist. Dr. Mecca and staff were very patient w/ me and explained everything. I did not get the feeling he was doing more work than necessary either. He addressed my fears and issues with a tooth through my tears and was compassionate. If you are scared of the dentist I recommend him. He even took the time to explain that fillings contract and expand and how that caused a hairline crack in my filling. I feel very positive moving forward. Oh and he's priced very reasonable too! XR tech was very understanding and just all over a wonderful experience. Update: 8.22.22 conscious sedation visit. It was the best experience ever with a dentist. Absolutely pain free. If you have any dental fears this office will go out of there way to help you. Please give this guy a chance he performs miracles.

FANTASTIC DENTISTS AND ASSISTANTS CAW CAW. PAINLESS ROOT CANAL. THEY DO NOT OVERBOOK EITHER SO THE WAIT TIME PEROID IS TYPICALLY VERY SHORT CAW CAW

Dr Mecca and staff are always professional and kind. My entire family goes here and we've always had good experiences. My son needed a filling when he was younger and lost his marbles. Dr Mecca was patient and even rescheduled (twice!) to avoid him having a terrible experience and having dental anxiety in the future.

I haven't been to a dental office in more years than I'd like to admit. Went in very hesitant (although I have heard many great things about this office). They exceeded all expectations. From cleaning the room before calling me in, to going over procedures and estimates (prior to jumping the gun and assuming i'd like to have something done). Very professional and welcoming environment! From Jenna greeting you with the brightest smile and utmost professionalism, to Diana who took the best, most gently care of me. And to finally meeting Dr Mecca himself. Love the care the team has provided. Funny to say, but looking forward to many more years! -Suzanna

Always a good experience, people are all friendly, an the office is very nice and neat. John is very good at what he does and does not struggle to make your visit seem to matter to him. Had a filling break out and caused immediate issue, they were able to get me in quickly, and now all is good--thanks.

Dr. Mecca is amazing! Has always Has made me feel so comfortable and heard! Staff is always professional and so friendly! the facility is comfortable, homey, and very clean! Highly recommend! Can not say enough good things. i went from having horrible dental anxiety and having to be sedated for simple procedures to now, no sedation for any procedure!

I have the worst anxiety when it comes to the dentist, Dr. Mecca and his staff do everything they can to put me at ease. Dr. Mecca is shows so much patience with me. I would recommend this office to anyone.
