Dr. Jina grew up in South Carolina and attended college at Furman University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in East Asian studies. After college, she spent one year teaching English in China and has over a decade of experience traveling to Asia, Latin America, and Africa, providing free dental care to underserved communities.
In 2004, she began her dental career and started dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Jina graduated among the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society. Upon graduating from MUSC, Dr. Jina moved to North Carolina to begin her pediatric dental residency training at the UNC School of Dentistry Department of Pediatric Dentistry. During her residency, Dr. Jina received her Masters Degree, Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, and Certificate of Global Public Health.
Dr. Brisbin is a native of Salisbury, NC and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her Bachelor of Science with Highest Distinction in Biology in 2012. She continued her training at UNC, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016.
During her time in dental school, she volunteered at NC Missions of Mercy dental clinics, went on an international dental trip to Malawi, Africa, and realized her interest in treating children while on rotation at the Stanly County health department.
A loyal Tar Heel, she stayed at UNC Chapel Hill for her residency in pediatric dentistry, where she received her Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the UNC School of Dentistry. She is now a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and serves as an adjunct faculty at the UNC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Brisbin is passionate about serving the pediatric population in her community. In her spare time, she helps lead the preschool ministry at Summit Church in Chapel Hill and volunteers at the Samaritan Health Center dental clinic in Durham.

Dr.Yoo took care of my baby girl and baby boy sooo goood!!! Love this place! Surgery went smooth and all appointments were great. Loved the Christian music there

Jocelyn is a terrible hygienist. My child had a very bad experience with her. She also broke his permanent retainer on the back of his bottom teeth. To keep from compensating us for the orthodontic appointment to fix it, Dr. Yoo has defended an incompetent employee and basically said we are lying, and it's impossible that Jocelyn could have broken it. We'll never be back.

I made appointment for my son a week ago. I called this morning to confirm and was told I never made an appointment. I'm glad I called first before arriving to the appointment.

I highly recommend Mebane Pediatric Dentistry. Everyone there from check-in, to our hygienist Hannah, and the dentist herself were extremely nice. They went over and beyond to make sure that both of my girls were comfortable and understood what was going on during their first dental visit.

Cleanings are fine but my daughter and I just had the worse experience. I was suprised because she is usually great with children. But the dentist insisted on using scare tactics to try to get my 6 year old child to relax. Threatening her I would have to leave out of the room because its her office.. and that she would not get a prize. I would think with her many years of experience that she would not result to such tactics. Her staff is extremely pleasant but this time she was not.

New patients may ONLY schedule in the morning. When I asked why the only answer I got was that that was rule the doctor put in place and it was her job to follow it. No explanation AT ALL for why this might be necessary. If that is how this business is ran I am glad I did not schedule my daughter an appointment.

Great with kids and all but focused on extra charges for random rhings... "Behavior management" meaning we will charge you for letting your kid watch a TV with nextflix and then charge you like it's not an option!! Smh
