First off, thanks for taking the time to check out Meason Orthodontics. Im excited to meet you in person and help you on your smile journey, but until then, let me give you a bit of my professional and personal background so you can get to know a little more about me.
While I enjoyed working as an intern architect, I felt a calling to work with people in a healthcare setting. I felt my design skills would be best suited for dentistry, and I was fortunate to be able to attend one of the best dental schools in the country: The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
During dental school, I truly discovered my passion for making people smile. And I felt that the best way to do that was through orthodontics. Whats better than helping someone achieve a healthy, beautiful smile? So, I went on to earn my Orthodontic Certificate and Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Colorado. Now, Im so excited to be back in the great state of Texas, and I am looking forward to making our wonderful community smile!
Im proud to be an orthodontic specialist, but thats not all I am. Im also a husband, father, and avid sports fan. I met my beautiful wife, Sarah, at Texas Tech, and we have two wonderful children, Kennedy (our little princess) and Hudson (our wild man). As a family, we enjoy reading books, going to the zoo, and visiting museums. Football is by far my favorite sport, and I love watching all different levels of the sport. But once football season ends, I enjoy catching other major sports games as well. Go Roos, Bearcats, Cowboys, Rangers, and Frogs!

Dr. Meason has done outstanding work! We've had the Damon high tech self ligating bracket system non traditional braces work done on 3 out of 4 family members with outstanding results. Where my initial interviews with doctors using traditional braces wanted to pull a tooth to make space for my lower teeth crowding, Dr. Meason with the Damon system didn't require that, created a wider smile for me and my kids. Very satisfied, and grateful for the Meason Orthodontics team.

Great experience at Meason Orthodontics. Staff and doctor were extremely friendly and greeted my daughter by name as soon as she walked in the door. They made sure they informed her of all she'll need to know and that she left with supplies to get her started with her braces. I would highly recommend them to anybody that needs orthodontic care.

I went here for a consultation. This is the third office I went to just to weigh out different opinions. He told me he couldn't help me because my teeth are "basically straight" and that I would need jaw surgery to fix the issues I have and that "he needs to sleep at night" so he won't put me in braces. What I concluded at the end of the consultation was that he only really cares about teeth being straight and the bite being functional even if it is cosmetically unpleasing. He uses old practices that allow all of the teeth to be pulled back rather than forward to support the face and lips. He also said when he first walked in that all he does is straighten the teeth. This may be ideal for some but for someone who's been in braces before, that's not what it's all about. I would advice you to find a different ortho who is more advanced. My teeth definitely slant a bit and can use some straightening and I have some other issues I'm not pleased with as well. I was not satisfied with him, or the over 1 hour wait...

Dr. Meason and his staff are the best and I cannot recommend this office enough. There were no surprises to the original treatment plan, the communication is fantastic, the office runs on-time and is impeccably clean. Everyone is friendly and accommodating, thanks guys!

Dr. Meason and his staff are amazing. They have great customer service and bedside manner. My 17yr old son has been a patient of his since Oct 2018. Every visit Dr. Meason has made sure to ask my son about how things are going and remembers what he has told him the at the next visit. I have had no complaints and have recommended Meason Orthodontist to everyone who has asked about needing braces. Our experience was beyond what we could imagine.

The staff at Meason Orthodontics went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcomed for each of my visits. Everyone is extremely professional, kind, and relatable. I believe Dr. Meason and LaDawn make a great team and that resulted in everything going very smoothly. I also appreciate the preventative measures the office has in place regarding the virus and they seem concerned with keeping everyone as safe as possible. I am so happy with my services from there and I can't wait to continue my smile journey with them.

Dr. Meason and his staff are simply amazing! My daughter has always had the worst anxiety and fear when it comes to anything dental related and she is excited for every appointment which is amazing! We had been to a closer office but didn't feel right until we visited Meason. The office staff was genuinely happy to meet with us and gave us so much attention and care. It is obvious they are genuine people! Would recommend this office to anyone with orthodontia needs.

Inexperienced dentist with anger issues. He huffed and puffed because the bracket kept coming off. It's unprofessional to show that you are frustrated around your patients.
