Dr. McDonough focuses on providing compassionate, thorough dental care to all patients and dedicates his energy to developing a modern and inviting practice. He grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and earned his B.A. in Biology from Cornell University before attending dental school at Harvard. He is passionate about refining his skills and adding to his knowledge of oral health and attends continuing education courses regularly. After graduating dental school in 1998, he worked as an associate prior to opening his own practice in Washington, Pa in 2008. Outside of the office, Dr. McDonough enjoys reading, classic cars and working out.
Kira assists Dr. McDonough with clinical care and will put you at ease with her warm, outgoing demeanor. She enjoys helping you understand your treatment needs and can discuss the options available that can make your smile the best it can be. Patients are impressed with her knowledge of dentistry and her ability to simplify procedures for them. Kira has had extensive training that enables her to perform a variety of dental procedures in the office.
Savannah cares about our patients and takes time to get to know them.She excels at helping children, especially those receiving orthodontic treatment.In her spare time she enjoys going to Pirate and Penguin games with her family.
Sara is a graduate of West Liberty University where she received her bachelors of dental hygiene. She is passionate about providing her patients a lifetime of dental health in a caring, friendly manner. She strives to enhance her patients dental and oral health through education and preventative care. In her spare time Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and her labrador retriever.
Sean works side-by-side with the dentist and will make you feel as comfortable as possible during your visit. When he isn't assisting the dentist he loves to be playing hockey with friends and is a big Penguins fan.
Trish enjoys making patients excited to smile with her training as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Through years of training in both administrative and clinical dentistry she is here to help patients navigate their path to achieve their dental goals. When she is not helping patients, she's enjoying time with her son and husband.
Shannen is a graduate of West Liberty University. She provides every patient with the highest degree of care possible while inspiring them and giving them the information they need to make their smile the best it can be. Shannen loves watching sports and spending time with her family and pets.

Awesome dentist office. Great staff, easy to talk to, extremely friendly, and to understand the process. Glad I found this place. Only Dr. I have ever had to call to check on my well being the next day of root canal(painless). That just shows you the professionalism. Highly recommended.

They have a very friendly staff, and treat you like a person. They are very compassionate, and Dr. McDonough was pleasant to interact with. His sense of humor helps ease the tension of dental work. They get things done fast! My root canal was as painless as can be.

I bring my 2 teenage boys here to see Dr. McDonough. The office staff and dental hygienist are very nice. They get them in a reasonable amount of time and do a good job. No complaints.

After my dentist retired, and who was someone I trusted, I was extremely nervous about going to another dentist. I put up with tooth pain too long. I called Meadow Dental Office and they got me in right away. I already knew I was possibly looking at a root canal and was petrified. Dr McDonough restored my faith in dentists. He performed a root canal on my tooth...he actually saved my tooth. I felt absolutely nothing. I didn't even know he gave me a numbing shot. When he said the worst was over, I could hardly believe it. I walked in white knuckled and came out smiling. After the numbness wore off, I had absolutely no pain whatsoever. I put my confidentce in Dr McDonough and his staff, and I can't say thank you enough. The hygienists there are awesome, too. My teeth always feel so clean when I leave. I drive 45 minutes to have the best.

So sad to post this, as a Dental Assistant I can tell you they're NOT giving their patients a proper cleaning bc using a sonic scaler or even POLISHING is " to dangerous for them or the next patient bc COVID" That's an excuse to do very little for the same price. This office is not willing to take the extra precautions to give their patients the oral care they deserve & are paying for! I specified with this office this was a cleaning after my braces being removed which should INCLUDE, a subgingival scaling & polishing of the teeth to remove build up. If they would have told me they didn't offer this. I would not have spent $70 for basically nothing. This is one of those offices that have let COVID become an excuse for poor health care.

I just want to say. I thought my tooth was messed up. I called over 20 dentist and no one could help me. My last call was them. They help me got me right in and figured everything out. Just need a mouth guard They was the best ever. Now my new dentist.

The first two times I've been here it was great but the last two times it seemed to really have gone downhill. Not sure if it's new staff, the stress of reopening after COVID? The last time I had my appt I wasn't even able to be seen... I asked if I could bring my daughter they said yes but when I showed up with her in her carseat (she was sleeping and she's still an infant) I was told I was not allowed to have my appt unless someone could watch her in the waiting room. They should have specified when I asked that she was not allowed in the back room area so I didn't waste time driving 30 mins into town.I am upset and I should have searched for a different dentist after my prior appt. It didn't feel like a thorough cleaning and I was even told they didn't have a hygienist that day. It honestly seemed like they scraped a few spot of plaque build up, rinsed and suction that was it... no toothpaste used and no mouthwash rinse.

If you are in need of a dentist that doesnt have long waiting periods to be seen for you and/or your children I highly recommend Meadow Dental. Unfortunately I didnt take care of my teeth like i should have during a rough period in my life so now they need a ton of work done which has made me very insecure. From day one they have done everything they can to help me get my smile back without making me feel uncomfortable or judged. They have an absolutely amazing group of people that works very hard to make sure you are happy and getting the proper care from the time you walk in til the time you leave.

It has been a long time since I have been to a dentist, so I was a bit nervous to say the least. I have been emailing Meadow Dental for some time about getting an appointment, but with state mandated shut downs, that wasn't so easy. Robin was extremely communicative and accommodating in establishing me as a new patient and getting me an appointment as quickly as she could. When I walked in, I was still a little nervous but it didn't take long for that to go away! Everyone here is beyond friendly, and the staff actually took the time to get to know me, the person, not just me, "patient number 643". I am so glad that I came here...very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. Very fair pricing and upfront about all treatment plans and costs. I like that. Thank you, Meadow Dental Center! You've got a patient for life!
