Although doctors are known to be busy, Dr. Joseph Meade prides himself on spending time with each of his patients. He enjoys creating and implementing a unique treatment plan for each patient to reach their oral health goals.
He graduated with High Honors at the University of the Pacific and went on to a two year fellowship in implant dentistry. Dr. Joseph Meade has been recognized for his excellence including a Top 10% Award in head & neck anatomy, Clinical Excellence Award in implant dentistry and a community service award.

I have been going to Meade Family Dental since I was 7 years old. I love going to them to get my teeth cleaned, and for any other dental related issues. They have the nicest staff, the cleanest office, and they take impeccably great care of their patients. I would 10/10 recommend Meade Family Dental to anyone in Benicia, or the surrounding areas that is looking for a fantastic dentist & team!!

Last week I had two tooth implants done. I was very worried about the procedure because I'm on blood thinners and worried about excess bleeding. On a previous tooth extraction I had excess bleeding. Dr. Meade assured me that there would be minimal or no bleeding using a new technique that required no incision or sutures. I only planned on doing one implant last week, but the procedure went so well I had the second one done as well. No pain and no bleeding!! Thank you, Dr. Meade for reducing my anxiety.

My first appointment with Dr. Meade gave me confidence that I've found a great dentistry practice. Everyone was friendly, professional, and took the time to communicate thoroughly what I could expect. Over the years, I've neglected my teeth and have quite a few concerns to address. Dr. Meade welcomed and answered my questions, assessed and explained the state of my teeth and gum health, and my treatment plan. Update 10/12/22: My deep cleanings on both sides have gone well. I've felt minimal if any pain. I see and feel the difference. My gums are noticeably less puffy and red. Dr. Meade has been thoughtful, professional, and forthcoming. He's been assertive about the urgency of my dental situation but also understanding of the costs for my husband and myself as we have a 4 yo daughter and 3 yo son. I am serious and will continue to trust Dr. Meade and team for their expertise on how to address my current dental issues and maintain good dental health going forward.

I've been with Meade Dental for many years now. Very happy with the quality of care I've received. They do good work. My only complaint now is that they don't accept my dental insurance, Delta care USA, newly acquired through Kaiser.

Well back again on a Monday...had to have my teeth cleaned and discovered the crown was broken. Again didn't know what to expect but was well taken care of by the team. Will need a new crown soon...

I really do not like going to the dentist unless I really really have to. With that being said I'm very comfortable here. The staff is very friendly and warm. Dr Meade is down to earth, very calm and patient especially when it comes to my anxiety of being in the dentist chair.

Dr. Joey is the best! He is honest and upfront about your needs and cost. He provides options to best fit your budget. I have been to dentists that feel like they only want your money, but Dr. Joey really cares about the individual more than making a fast buck. Thanks Dr. Meade!

Highly recommend Dr. Meade and his hygienist. Very up to date medical procedures and you just feel like you're being so very well taken care of.
