Jennifer A. Sokolosky, DMD, PA and her team have been serving the Ellicott City area since 1995, providing the highest quality in family dentistry. Dr. Sokolosky is committed to excellence in preventative, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, and has maintained this commitment through ongoing continuing education. She has completed thousands of hours of continuing education during her career.

Dr. Jennifer Sokolosky attended Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia as an undergraduate. After graduating with a B.A. in Biology in 1987, she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Here she received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1992. Dr. Sokolosky went on to advanced studies as a Pediatric Dental Fellow at Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia. She then continued her Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Stony Brook in Long Island, NY. She is privileged to be serving the Ellicott City area since opening her dental practice in 1995.
Dr. Sokolosky has completed many of the highly acclaimed live patient and hands-on courses with Dr. David Hornbrook and Dr. Ross Nash mastering many aspects of advanced and cosmetic procedures. Many of the other advanced continuing dental education classes she has taken have allowed her to gain knowledge, skills, and motivation to keep her enthusiastic about dentistry today, including Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Paik completed his dental degree, specialty training in prosthodontics, and a Master of Science in oral biology from the University of Maryland Dental School, where he is now a clinical assistant professor. He practiced in Annapolis for two years before establishing his own private practice in Columbia in 2007. He joined Dr. Sokolosky in 2018.
Dr. Paik is an active member of the American Board of Prosthodontics and the American College of Prosthodontists, has held the Vice President position for the Maryland Korean Dental Association, and lectures to Howard County general dentists to further their treatment knowledge.
A board-certified prosthodontist who is passionate about his work, Dr. Paik is known for his unwavering commitment to providing each of his patients with a beautiful and functional smile. His empathetic and compassionate nature makes him a favorite among patients.
She completed her dental training at The Medix School graduating in 1998 and completed her internship at the University of Maryland Dental School receiving a Certificate of Merit in 1999. She is a certified Dental Radiation Technologist and Qualified Dental Assistant.
Hana started off with administrative work for Dr. Paik until she transitioned over to working with the best of specialists as an assistant to help patients regain their smile through cosmetic dentistry and quality dental implants. She believes these are much more than dental procedures; they are an investment for the patients to recharge their self-esteem and impact on overall health.
Therese is a native of Moorhead, MN. She received both her bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Maryland. She is a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Society, the Phi Beta Kappa Society, and is a recipient of the Community Oral Health Award.
Therese has been with our practice for over 11 years and is happy to have the opportunity to work with such great patients and an amazing team of professionals. When shes not busy helping our patients, Therese spends her time reading, cooking, traveling, and playing tennis.
