Dr. Matthew Perry was born in Manhattan Kansas and grew up in northeast Colorado. He attended Brigham Young University in Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and a minor in Chemistry. While there, he met his wife Chelsea and they moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Dr. Perry received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2009.
While at college Dr. Perry interrupted his studies for two years for missionary work in Panama. His many interesting experiences there led him to the field of dentistry. He worked with the Kuna Indians of the San Blas Islands for a year, helping in their fields, building houses, and teaching basic well-fare principles. Through his interactions, he developed a true love of serving and helping others, which lead him to the profession of dentistry.
Dr. Perry takes this attitude of caring for others and applies it to how he treats his patients. He wants to take the time to listen to his patients and work with them in order to achieve the best treatment results. He is a member of the American Orthodontic Society, and Doctors of Oral Conscious Sedation.

I'm making this review mostly because I am shocked at how unprofessional this place is. My bf went there to get a resin fill, something temporary even, because the resin of one of his teeth fell less than 24 hrs ago and he wanted that fixed to prevent it from getting worse (obvious). Well, not only where they unhelpful they were completely useless as well. No anti-biotics (because they were "so concerned with the root being cracked" that they couldn't do a resin fill, (after x-rays mind you) due to the excuse that the temporary packing he had made the X-ray's compromised in some way (mind you, less than 2 month's ago he had x-rays done and there was no crack, and I KNOW it isn't because he'd be doubling over in pain if it were). The two options offered were ridic. Oh and the price for a resin fill w/insurance? $209 + tax. I know the price isn't all on the office itself. What I am livid is at the fact that you let a customer of your dental office leave with a gaping hole in his tooth and didn't even offer antibiotics to prevent infection (but ya'll were so worried, right?). I've called several dental places since then and one was actually legit angered that you wouldn't be more helpful (and no, it's not the place you're sending his records to). Absolutely atrocious handling of a situation in which the 1st option clearly shows that that could be done because it was easier and more convenient and not out of care for the patient. In the end it won't matter to you regardless because you'll bill his insurance and make that quick money. I'll make sure to remember the name of this place only to ensure that I never recommend it to anyone, if I could give 0 stars I would.

Great dental service. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The dentist and assistant took such good care of me and my broken tooth. I've never been to a dentist that was so caring.

Had never gone there before, but they got me in on the same day and fixed a broken tooth that was causing pain. Nice and polite the staff is very helpful. Not a fan of dentists but would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I cannot recall any moment in my dental history that I received such a high level of care in a dental office. Truly, Makayla did such an amazing job that this experience will stay with me forever. My teeth still feel like they did when after she cleaned them on Friday. I have never had a cleaning where there was no pain or cuts in my mouth before after it was completed. Makayla, you are a true professional. I thank you.

My son has autism. And have him sedated to do dental work. The staff at McPherson hospital are very nice had understanding of the situation Dr. Perry was awesome he was kind and afterwards he told us what he had done to Andre's teeth cleaning, extractions, fillings, etc. I couldn't of asked for better service. Also the staff at McPherson Dental we're great at getting me the paperwork and setting up time for Andre to have his teeth done. The office staff are awesome as well.

Everyone there is extremely kind, comforting and patient. My son had a minor procedure but it did involve needles and a laser. Doctor was so gentle my 7 year old didn't squirm once or need to hold my hand. Thanks for making the dentist a positive place and a not at all scary experience! I know this experience has set him up for more positive dental appointments in the future.

Never felt a thing , never felt the needle or the tooth removal. Just a friendly chat and boom no more tooth pain it was so fast, comfortable and painless. The most understanding and kind staff I have ever experienced.

Going to the dentist is not something I enjoy. However, going to McPherson Dental Care has been a pleasant experience overall. Everyone is friendly and they treat you with respect.

I had oral issues with a certain area of my mouth rapidly decaying and infected. Dr Kynaston and his staff are excellent in their delivery of dental care. Dr K began the process of cleaning the infected area of my mouth, which had not been adequately cleaned by another dental practice prior to attempting a repair. Multiple visits to Dr K's practice over 18 months, slowly but surely, resolved the original problem with a molar Implant. The overall treatment plan was expensive, but definitely within cost for the rural / suburban practice. I got my money's worth in a timely fashion delivered by a Dentist who cares and his staff who form a cohesive treatment team. (Dr K gives the best numbing shots that I have ever experienced by a Dentist that I have ever visited!)
