Dr. Donald Nimz is a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Portland area. Dr. Nimz earned his B.S. and Public Health degrees in just three years from Portland State University, graduating in 1974. From there he went on to graduate from the University of Oregon School of Dentistry in 1978.

Dr. Nimz frequently attends continuing education courses to stay current on the latest advancements in all phases of dentistry including cosmetics, implants, periodontics, and patient comfort. Dr. Nimz takes an active role in meeting and exceeding the professional standards and requirements set forth by membership in the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and Clackamas County Dental Society.

In addition, Dr. Nimz is known for his expertise in Artistic Cosmetic Dentistry, and patients travel from throughout the Pacific Northwest to seek out his skills and personal care. He has taken extensive additional training in implant placement and cosmetic dentistry, and will custom design your smile, using cosmetic techniques that include dental implants, whitening, beautiful veneers, inlays and custom porcelain crowns and fillings.

At McLoughlin Dental Care, we have more than 25 years of experience in dental care. Most of our staff has been with the practice for years and are dedicated to the dental health of each of our patients. Our staff has taken hundreds of hours of combined continuing education to ensure that we provide you with the most modern dental care possible, in a gentle and caring manner.

I graduated from Ht Good Community College and have worked for Dr. Nimz for over 25 years. Our team at McLoughlin Dental Care are highly trained individuals who are dedicated to our patients. We consider each other like family that is one of many reasons all our staff have been here for so many years. What I like best about working here is not only our amazing team but the close relationships I have developed with all our patients. My hobbies include my classic cars car shows, boating, traveling, and most of all spending time with my family.

Ive been in the dental field since 1990. The best thing about working at McLoughlin Dental Care besides the great doctors and staff is the patients become like family. My hobbies are spending time with my family, attending concerts, traveling, VW Bus enthusiast, football and food!

I came to the United States from USSR in 1989. After graduating from Franklin High School, I continued my education at Bradford School and got my dental assistant certifications. I started working at McLoughlin Dental Care in March of 2001 and have been here ever since. I love working with this amazing team and wouldnt change it for the world. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping and kayaking.

I have been in the dental field for 18 years. Im EFDA and EFODA certified. What I like most about McLoughlin Dental Care is the friendly staff and patients. My hobbies include spending time with my family, hiking, camping, reading, crafts, and baking.

I attended Portland Community College for my dental hygiene education. I graduated in 2003 from PCC with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I am so lucky to work at McLoughlin Dental Care. All of our patients are great, and I love being able to educate and assist them with their dental needs. All of the staff at McLoughlin Dental is amazing and I love them as family. The staff all work together as a team to create an exceptional work place environment. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy spending time outdoors, snow skiing, hiking, backpacking and camping. We also love to travel, especially to Hawaii.

I have been a dental hygienist for 18 years. I have worked for Dr. Nimz for 13 years. I graduated in 2000 from Mt. Hood Community College and I have a bachelors degree in Microbiology from University of Portland. I enjoy working here because of the amazing people I work with and the strong relationships I have formed with my long-time patients. My hobbies include traveling, shopping, spending time with my husband and daughters. I also enjoy watching my oldest daughter play volleyball.
