Dr. McLean's ultimate career goal is to truly enjoy her profession on a daily basis while improving the lives of her patients. Her passion and constant drive to do the best that she can for her patients sets her apart. After graduating from Boston College she attended New York University College of Dentistry where she was honored with The Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Award.
Dr. McLean received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1996 and continued her post graduate training in Dentistry at Bronx Lebanon hospital in New York. She remained for a second year to attain a certification in Infectious Diseases. For over 20 years , her membership with the ADA ( American Dental Association) & CSDA ( Connecticut State Dental Association has allowed her to stay abreast of the current changes in the field while attaining the necessary knowledge to deliver quality state of the art care.
Dr. Jackque commonly called by the children has shared her knowledge and passion for dentistry locally for the last ten years in the Stamford public schools and in the Caribbean on numerous mission trips. She says, 'It 's indeed a blessing to be able to help those less fortunate.'
Dr. O'Shaughnessy was born and raised in Larchmont, New York. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery in 2005. Upon graduation, she moved to Manhattan to complete her advanced training as a General Resident at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. Dr. O'Shaughnessy is a member of the American Dental Association(ADA) Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA)Academy of General Dentistry, Greenwich Dental Society and recently completed her associate fellowship training in Laser Dentistry. She currently resides in Greenwich CT with her husband and two sons.
Dr. Blaire Spaulding is a general dentist who is native of Stamford, CT and has recently relocated back to her hometown. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA.
Following her graduation from Spelman, Dr. Spaulding took some time between her studies to nurture another passion, working with children, and worked as apprentice second grade teacher at New Canaan Country School in New Canaan, CT. Dr. Spaulding then went on to obtain her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Spaulding spent a year practicing in Charlotte, NC, followed by her associateship in the DMV area, before returning back up north, where she is now a new addition to McLean Smiles.
Dr. Spaulding has a passion for treating her patients as a whole and ensuring that they maintain optimal overall health by keeping their oral health a top priority. Dr. Spaulding loves working with patients of all ages, including children, which was reinforced during her time as an elementary school teacher and has been able to use those skills to make all of her patients feel at ease in the dental setting. Dr. Spaulding strives to educate her patients on the importance of oral health care and prevention and create a friendly environment where the whole family can receive care.

The staff was very friendly and the dentist had excellent bedside manners. It was my first visit and we weren't able to do the cleaning but they were very nice. The office is modern and clean and I would recommend them to anybody.

5 minutes from downtown in the north end, mcleansmiles offers a peaceful surrounding for all your dental needs. Conveniently located off bus 4 route. Extremely friendly, flexible and professional staff. I've grown up with a fear of the dentist. Not anymore. As you age it's critical you assure the health of your mouth. I love McLean Smiles' staff. I am a patient of the Bridgeport office. The whole staff is friendly, professional and courteous. They definitely know what they are doing and they care about their patients. Dr. Spaulding and the rest of the staff are great. I recommend that everyone uses Dr. McLean's services in Stamford or Bridgeport because they are the best at what they do.
