McLean Dental, help me in an emergency with an implant even considering that I was not their patient. I've just moved to Bloomington IL and my temporary implant broke, after consulting 3 other dentists first, I found McLean Dental and they helped right away. Highly recommend!!

I have really bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, especially so when it's a new one. I've waited a bit too long to go to see the dentist because of my anxiety, until I was forced to after chipping my front tooth. I called on a Thursday close to their closing time after calling 10 different offices around town. The woman I spoke to couldn't have been more kind and accommodating trying to get me in as soon as they possibly could to fix my tooth. They were closed on Friday, but they got me in first thing for Monday. The office was nice and clean walking in, and the receptionist was very kind. I met with the dental assistant, Cierra, and she was awesome! I had to get x-rays done which are always uncomfortable and she tried to be as quick as possible for me. After that I met with Dr. George and she was fantastic. Both Dr. George and Cierra's patience, kindness, and helpfulness really put my anxiety at ease. I was met with some not great news that some old fillings are falling apart and causing problems, and Dr. George was amazing at explaining my questions and taking her time to give me an action plan before going in to get those fixed so the process can be as easy as possible. She smoothed out my chipped tooth to what was comfortable for me and made time to do a cleaning which we didn't originally schedule. Cierra took the time to put some fluoride on my teeth and ease more of my anxiety regarding the next appointment as I talked my nerves through with her and what to expect. I've been to several dentists in the past, and none have ever made me feel as comfortable and at ease as they did, which was something I definitely was not expecting especially my first time being there. I'm looking forward to having Dr. George as my new dentist, to seeing Cierra again with all her great help, and making this office my regular place to keep my dental health in great shape.

The entire reason I haven't been back to this dentist or any dentist in over a year is because the main dentist(an elderly man) screamed at me at the top of his lungs over some plaque on me teeth. If you go to any dentist in town, I highly recommend AGAINST this office unless getting screamed at is your thing. I really should have commented when this first happened but hey, better late than never if it saves another person from getting screamed at. I have had a hole in my tooth and have needed a root canal for over a year but this garbage dentist office has made me decide to just deal with the pain instead. I highly recommend AGAINST ever going to this place.

The office ladies were very knowledgeable on all procedures. They work so at easy with each other that it makes it comfortable. The Dentist was to the point and directed on what needs to be done. He's very educated in the new procedures and implants. They included you in the conversation. I appreciate that with all the new things that are being done. The whole support system for each other and you, as a patient, is wonderful. They don't treat you like an job but as a person. That's a special touch many places lack. The place was nice and comfortable waiting area. They clean and disinfect the room completely. I seen her cleaning my area before I was allowed in. I was very impressed all together.

The office personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. Dr Emil Verban is very knowledgeable and does a great job explaining the procedure he is going to perform,also his assistants are awesome from start to finish. Highly recommend them for your dental needs
