Growing up, my younger brother and I were born and raised in the cold. Our family lived in Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Connecticut, and then finally settled in Chicago. Id like to think our Scandinavian roots equipped us to handle all those brutal winters.

After completing high school in Barrington, a NW suburb of Chicago, I decided I was ready for warmer weather and chose to pursue my undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma. I played rugby for the club team up until my junior season was cut short by a broken wrist. As I filled out my dental school applications with my right hand in a cast, I couldnt envision a scenario where I would be successful in the long term if I was always hurt. So right then I decided it was time to put all my focus on my future in dentistry.

Further south I went! My DDS degree was earned at Baylor Dental School in Dallas. This is where Dr. Berlin and I first met. Those four years produced a few gray hairs, but more importantly a lifelong friendship. I have countless memories from school that I hold dear, however the first patient I ever performed a root canal on ended up being my wife of 28 years, Dianeso that one will always be my favorite.

After graduation, we got married and moved out to Salem, OR where I began my professional career. I practiced there for 6 years, but home was calling so I packed up my family and moved back to Chicago where I took over a small practice on the North Shore.

In 2000, I decided I had one last move in me and made my return to Texas. I joined another friend from dental school in a busy and growing practice for 5 years until I got the chance to partner with my buddy Dr. Berlin here in McKinney! I jumped at that chance and havent looked back since! Our doctors get along great! Its amazing to work with people who have similar professional goals and practice philosophies, and all love college football!

Most of my focus has been in the area ofDental Implantsand tissue augmentation and regeneration. These procedures allow me to help patients regain lost teeth, gum tissue, and bone that theyve lost due to dental disease or trauma.

Ive replaced thousands of lost teeth with these implants allowing people to chew and smile with confidence. But nothing compares to the life changing results I help people achieve with the Teeth Tomorrow protocol. Being able to end a patients lifetime of dental problems, literally overnight, is an amazing feeling. My team and I really bond with these people as we see them change. Being able to give patients new confidence and self-esteem is something few dentists ever get the chance to experience. And we have the opportunity every week!

Im now a trainer for the new Teeth Tomorrow dentists and also lecture nationally on Oral Surgery for the General Dentist. Combining these techniques with all of the other procedures Ive mastered allows me to help my patients with almost any dental problem they may incur.

As far back as I can remember, I always knew I would be a dentist. I remember telling my mom in the fifth grade that one day I would be a dentist, and from that day forward, I knew in my heart thats what Id do. I grew up in a very small town, Santa Fe, Texas (just outside of Galveston, Texas). After school and during the summers while I was in high school, I worked as a Dental Assistant. I loved it.

After graduating from Santa Fe High School, I attended The University of Texas in Austin, where I received a BBA in Business Management. While at U.T. I served as President of the Beta Kappa chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, professional business fraternity. To this day, I keep up with my fraternity brothers thank you, Facebook. Also at U.T., I served as an R.A. (Resident Assistant) in a non-air-conditioned dorm. I think this is why we currently keep it so cold in our office. In addition, I walked-on to the U.T. Baseball team, playing second base, and center field. I soon realized it was either baseball or dentistry and although I was a pretty decent opposite field hitter, Im much better with a hand-piece in my hand than a 34 Louisville Slugger.

After graduating from U.T., I was accepted to all three dental schools in Texas. (UT San Antonio, UT Houston, and Baylor in Dallas) The only thing I really knew about Dallas at the time was that this is where we played our arch-rival- OU, the show Dallas and of course, the DallasCowboys. While visiting Dallas and interviewing at Baylor, I fell in love with North Texas and knew this was the place for me. It felt like home, so I chose Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.

While in Dental School, I served as President of Delta Sigma Delta, Professional Dental Fraternity and this is where I met my best friend, and current dental partner, Dr. Jeff Lynch. We dreamed of working together one day, and it was so rewarding to launch McKinneyDentist.com with him and Dr. Markham in 2005. Theres something very special about working with your best friends. While in dental school, I also worked part-time as a club DJ. I mention this only because while spinning records (those now, rare 12 round pieces of vinyl) I was introduced to the most beautiful girl, Leah Patterson. Although I know youre not supposed to say you picked your wife up at a bar almost 30 years later, I sure am glad she was there that night!

My senior year project in dental school was to try this new dental technique called Porcelain Veneers. This was 1988, and the term cosmetic dentistry hadnt even been invented. That said, Ill never forget that first patients excitement when I handed her the mirror for the first time and she saw her gorgeous new smile. I knew right then and there that this would be my calling. Since then, I am so grateful to have created and provided thousands of smiles and smile make-overs for patients here in McKinney, North Texas, and actually all over the country. I would love to create a new smile for you.

Dr. Marvin Berlin is our senior doctor and has been providing dental care and creating gorgeous smile make-overs in McKinney since 1993. He is one of the leading cosmetic dentists in the country and also enjoys teaching cosmetic dentistry to other dentists across the country.

Dr. Berlin has published numerous articles in various dental magazines including Smiling Magazine and Dental Economics. He was featured on the cover of Dental Economics in 2013 with all of his articles focusing on one concept:Maintaining and Keeping your patients by saying YES.

Dr. Berlin has also recorded numerous technique videos on all phases of Cosmetic Dentistry, General Dentistry, Dental Management, Dental Photography, and Endodontics (Root Canals). His YouTube Channel,The Berlin Smilehas tens of thousands of views.

Dr. Berlin was recently awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and currently pursuing Accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. When Dr. Berlin is not creating gorgeous smiles in McKinney, you can find him teaching cosmetic dentistry to colleagues nation wide.

Dr. Berlin has created a 2-day cosmetic dentistry training program and he was recently appointed Clinical Director of Heartland Dentals Aesthetic Continuum the largest live-patient, hands-on cosmetic dental training program in America. Dr. Berlin was also the recent recipient of Heartland Dentals Eagle Leadership Award

Thank you for taking time to get to know more about me and the team at McKinneydentist.com.Originally from Colorado, my wife and I moved to Georgetown, Texas in 2014. In June of 2018,we had the opportunity to come to McKinneydentist.com and make McKinney our home.We have two young children and spend much of our free time outdoors and playing with the kids.

I earned my Bachelor of Sciences at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I had access to the Rocky Mountains and fishing streams to recreate when not engaged in studies.Following graduation I moved to Portland, Oregon to further my education at Lewis and Clark College, ski on Mount Hood and fish for steelhead trout in the Deschutes River. My passion for the out-of-doors and desire to help those in need lead me back to Colorado where I volunteered for three years with the Alpine Rescue Team as an Emergency Medical Technician.

My experiences with wilderness and emergency medicine led me further to seven years of service as a Firefighter/Paramedic in Arapahoe and Boulder County, Colorado. One day following an emergency call at the fire house, I was doffing my bunker gear, when I took particular notice to how poor my boots were fitting.Mended with duct tape and modified with custom insoles, nothing I did made them comfortable. The boots no longer fit, my feet had changed and so had I.In that moment, I knew that my life would take a radical turn.I decided to follow my dream and return to school to become a dentist.

I moved to Nebraska to attend dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln.Following graduation from dental school, tired of long cold winters, my wife and I decided to move to Texas to make our home and raise our family.I practiced dentistry in Round Rock and Cedar Park Texas for approximately four years.During that time, I had come to learn about the dentists at McKinneydentist.com.Noted for their ability to take care of patients same day, I took the opportunity to visit, shadow, volunteer and study the practices of Drs. Berlin, Lynch and Markham.Little did I know that someday soon I would have the opportunity to join my mentors in practice here in McKinney.

Outside the office I enjoy spending time road cycling, fly fishing, swimming with the kids, BBQ cooking and have recently taken up pickle ball.I love to travel and enjoy sampling new cuisine and learning the history of the places I visit.

I am Dr. AnthonyCallisonand I would like to welcome you to Mckinneydentist.com family. I was born and raised in Rockwall Texas, what was then an outlier and now a suburb of Dallas. With 4 brothers and 2 sisters, myself being the exact middle child, I assure you there was never a dull momentand my mother is a saint! Together, my parents example and love instilled in me the importance of faith and hard work. As a teenager, I knew a smile was worth investing in! My parents could not afford braces so I got a job and paid for them myself. This also made playing the trumpet interesting it pushed me to learn other instruments that were easier to play while I adjusted to the braces and now can play all the instruments made of brass! Marching band, jazz band, I love it ALL!

Upon high school graduation, I completed college courses and began saving money. I had privilege of serving a 2-year mission in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. !Vamos Ticos! There I developed a love for Latinos and the Spanish language. Me encanta practicarlo con mis pacientes!

Upon returning, I enrolled and quickly completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. I paid my way through school by digging pools in our wonderful and HOT Texas weather, but thats one motivation to finish school as soon as possible! During this time, I met the love of my life, April. She had just completed her Masters Degree in Accounting, but she was quick to tell her father that she wouldnt be marrying someone that still had SO much school remaining! Fortunately, I convinced her otherwise, and we have been married for 15 years and have 4 wonderful children together. We joke that her long-term investment [in me] paid off.

I came to dentistry because of my desire to be in a field where I could help others! I attended dental school Baylor College of Dentistry in downtown Dallas, and quickly began falling in love with changing smiles. I took extra courses, completed research, and even got an award for esthetic achievement! I graduated top of my class, but the learning didnt stop there. I have continued to take a steady stream of courses devoted to enhancing the smile. I have taken the In short, I am obsessed with getting the best smile I can for my patients!

Helping improve a smile is so rewarding and love being a part of the transformation process! The reaction is immediate and natural a smile you cannot hold back! Some have spent years not fully smiling, slowly disguising and hiding their teeth. Its an awe inspiring process to be a part of helping my patients gain confidence and that SMILE says it all!

Creating the perfect smile begins early! Ideally, we want to help grow and develop a young patients jaw to the correct shape and position for all their teeth to fit in their mouth. But its never too late, as my wife will attest to having braces in her 30s J The same principles apply to adults as well, including Orthodontics without extractions. I want to stand out in my level of care and knowledge that I bring to my patients, bring me your dental concerns and I will help create your dream smile.

My family and I moved to Kansas City as I began my dental career. We have so many fond memories surrounded my family and friends. And one love has remained STRONG my love for BBQ. In KC, I learned that there are others in this fine country who are equally passionate about BBQ! Kansas City will contend that they have the best BBQ in the country. I will give them sauce, but it is hard to beat the rubs from Texas. I LOVE to BBQ, and I am looking forward to some friendly competition with Drs. Berlin and Lynch on who can make the best!

I also love adventure eating, trying out weird and usual foods. I picked this up in Costa Rica, and if there is something strange on a menu at a new restaurant, I have to try it. Half of the fun of traveling to new areas is finding new places to eat. Please feel free to share your local, and not so local, favorites with me when you come in. I am always looking for new things to try!

My family is my first love. April and I have four kids; Tanner, Brooke, Rylee, and Asher. They keep me very busy outside of the office, going on all kinds of adventures. We love to swim, boat, hike, bike, raft, and explore new places. We play all kinds of games and invent our own when the need arises. They are much of my motivation for the things I have learned as I seek to better care for my growing family.

I met Dr. Berlin through the Heartland Esthetic Continuum, first as a student, and then helping run the hands-on course in the Kansas City area. I was happily practicing there when Dr. Berlin called to say they had a place for me in McKinney. It felt like coming home to family! How I could say no to an opportunity to practice with some of the best Doctors in the country, and contribute my expertise to the practice? I am honored to add my name to the Mckinneydentist.com family, and I look forward to meeting you!

This dental family is always friendly and welcoming from the minute you step through the door. I have anxiety anytime I need to go to the dentist from childhood trauma. Dr. Berlin And his team ALWAYS ensure I am comfortable and never rush through. I was impressed that they could tell I was hurting and administered more numbing Med. Even checking out was super pleasant! No pressures only comfort from this group!!!! THANK YOU!

Went there for a teeth cleaning and they wanted to do a laser gum therapy! When I declined because the out of pocket was expensive they refused to do the teeth cleaning what I went there for! I understand I might need the therapy but they could have done the cleaning and when I could come up with the he money I could have gotten the treatment done. Instead of refusing to do anything while I was there! It was a complete was of my time!!!!!!

I have been visiting McKinneyDentist for a few years now and am very happy with the entire operation. Every person there is super friendly. I have completed an Imvisialign treatment with Dr Callison, who is excellent and implant treatment from Dr Lynch, who is also excellent. Dental services are thorough and they explain everything, never pushing a treatment they recommended but you are not ready for. Hygienist Julie has been amazing too. I have never felt more comfortable visiting a dentist in my life.

We had a little technical difficulty with the conference call but the telephone conversation was just fine and I will see at my next visit how they compare to my current dentist in price and bedside manner. So far the staff was most helpful. Well I went for my visit and these guys are wonderful. They have all this modern equipment but don't charge you like you are the sole patient paying for it. My last dentist looked in my mouth and said he could not see anything wrong with my tooth that was hurting but these guys went in and took a picture of the tooth and showed me on the screen where it was cracked. They saved this tooth where as my last dentist missed 2 cracks in my other teeth causing me to lose one of them because it was not caught in time. These guys are great and if you have an emergency like my wife did at one point(and she wasn't even a patient of theirs) they worked with her to get her in that same day. There are so many of them in the office they are able to work around your and their schedules to help you out. These are my new dentists for life. I am so impressed with them. One of the other dentists I went to wanted to charge me $75 for nitrous oxide (laughing gas) but with these guys it is free. Again I am very impressed.

The professionalism is above what most would expect from your average Dental Clinic. From the front staff all the way to the hygienist and especially the doctors. First class all the way around I cannot emphasize this enough.

A surprisingly awful experience period. I came in with the understanding that the dental cleaning would cost $180, left with a $400 bill which included x-rays. Rather steep considering I was following their prior dental schedule where I was reassured that the total cost of future dental cleanings would be $180. McKinney dental cancel appointments at the last minute then insists that you are not compliant with the dental plan they establish. Not the first time they have tried this. Not retuning as I feel the experience was a money grab, plain and simple. Patient beware.
