I would avoid this place like the plague, aftyer having work done here and with insurance and paying almost 3,500 bucks OOP they are now saying that I still owe over a thousand dollars. Their billing department are rude and incompetent.

Horrible experience, they don't work with you on payments and messed up my crowns. All they care about is money.. Glad I found another office way better!

BEWARE. Took my son in to have regular teeth cleaning. He is 18 yrs old. I stayed in lobby for 1hr 15min waiting. After the teeth cleaning I was presented with a deep cleaning recommendation/bill for $219. I kindly declined. On our drive home I asked him how it went. He told me they did x-rays and measured the gums. But never cleaned his teeth. He was left in there waiting fell asleep and a office staff had to go get him. I called the office immediately and asked why was the teeth cleaning not done and why they left him in there so long. I was told possibly gum disease and this treatment needs to be done and regular teeth cleaning could cause problems. He is 18. No gum disease. Dentist just started measuring gums a few years back. Was never a problem before to get your teeth cleaned. I call BS on this. I have been going here for 15 years. Had an appointment on Sept 24. Now canceled. I do not have time to take off of work to have xrays and gums measured. Teeth cleaning is what was asked and never delivered. I called back today (2 days later) to cancel my appointment and inform them I'm done with them after 15 years and my new dentist will be calling for all of our dental records. Once again BEWARE. 1hr 15min for x-ray and gum measurements then him staying in the room with nobody returning. I will say for 15 years going here I have had Dr Nagaruru doing major dental work. She was a blessing. Please open your own practice so I can come back to you. Office staff ELI very helpful to the best he could be. The hygienist not cool. Sorry for the long post folks. Got there at 2:15 left at 4. Not cool. And dont bother with your bot saying sorry. I will be waiting for my insurance to send the bill that was submitted to them. I would bill accordingly if not McKinney dental will have much bigger problems than losing 2 people. Good day folks.

At first I had a great experience with this office but lately they have shown their true colors. The only reason I still come to this office is because of the orthodontist who is amazing. But I am highly considering cancelling my ortho treatment and going to an office that actually cares about their patients instead of money. Especially after all of the money I have paid towards my treatments. So tired of this office

Same experience as B.Day during the same month. Looks like this is a very common issue with this location. Horrible experience. I was in the office for over 3 hours for a regular check up and cleaning. I was left by myself for about an hour after the dentist left to check how much my insurance would cover a deep cleaning - they came back about an hour later to let me know I was out of net-work (after they just told me I was in network). They came back with a bill. The pricing was outrageous! They had charges I'd never seen at any other dentist office. The dentist didn't even clean my teeth. I don't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Would not recommend. We had issues with quality of care, payments, and long wait times. This dentist office is very inefficient. Had to change credit card on file and it took me over 20 minutes standing in their office and they had to call some outside vendor to update my card. Called 3(x) times to try to pay off my ortho plan and no one can locate my balance and had no success just to make a payment. Had 3 cleaning appt and it took them over 4 hours. It is too much of a hassle to deal with this dentist office.

I have been going to this dentist for years and every single time I am greeted and cared for in the best possible way by everyone on staff! Dr. KAVITHA NAGARURU is one of THE best! She is an expert in what she does and she is so kind and patient. She always has my very best interests in mind. She always explains everything so clearly and provides me with options. I would highly recommend McKinney Dental Group to everyone!!!

STAY AWAY from here. My wife had a visit there over 3 months ago and they charged her out of her pocket while the insurance at totally covered everything. Now it's over 3 months I'm trying to get a refund and every time I talk to the office manager Mr Cooper he says: "I don't remember when we talked about it let me see what is going on here." If I cannot get my money back this week I will definitely file it.

Very disappointed with service and over charges by the staff. 1st appointment took 4 hours for unnecessary exams and diagnosis. Try to find what is wrong with teeth painted pretty scary picture and they suggested unnecessary procedures. Desk staff is rude and unprofessional. Try to over charge whatever they can. Wait time is always 45 minutes which is unacceptable. We had very unpleasant experience and we do not recommend this dental office.

The worst place ever, bunch of kids working their. They dont remind u for appointment,they say ots your health u need to keep track of your appointments. Every time i go they want to do a deep cleaning,because they say my free regular cleaning,is not available,i have no cavities in the doctor that looked at my teeth said I take care of them pretty good besides grinding on it when I sleep at night if my teeth is taken care of good why can't you just do a regular cleaning why do you have to charge me $688 for a deep cleaning after insurance the place is a ripoff all three times I went there they charge me for deep cleaning never my regular cleaning if I was you stay away from there. Seems to me they want to milk every penny out of every customer..... $688 for deep cleaning and is no different than a regular cleaning.... Deep cleaning 10 minutes and they are done,theh dont even floss your teeth.You have to tell them. So today's bill was $2,900..... Never can Texas be compared to Northern Virginia or the East Coast they do things so slow so backwards here.

Horrible experience. I was in the office for over 3 hours for a regular check up and cleaning. I was left by myself for 30 minutes after the dentist left and I still had not gotten my cleaning done. When someone finally came back it was to tell me how much I was responsible for after insurance. The pricing is outrageous! They had charges I'd never seen at any other dentist office. The dentist also rushed my cleaning and cut my gums in the process. Everything was so disorganized. Will not be coming back here and don't recommend this office to anyone.

Worst customer service ever!! I had my referral emailed to them for a root canal. Called multiple times over two weeks and was told each time that a message would be delivered, and it would be marked urgent. I didn't receive one single call from them. The last time I called, I found out that I was in their system for an extraction. Meanwhile, I'm dealing with a painful, cracked molar.

I have had it with this dental office. Please do not come here. I had insurance and my treatment amount was $2,565 and the estimated amount that my insurance was going to cover was $1,132.10, so I set up a payment plan for the remaining amount for $932.90 after putting a $500 down payment down. Come to find out, the dental office overcharged me and my insurance company stated I should've only owed $622.70. I only had to pay the remaining balance of $122.70 after my down payment which I would've just paid in whole if I knew that was the total. Now, I'm out around $500 that they've taken out of my account since I did a payment plan and have been told I will be receiving a refund. It's been weeks since I've been told that and they either give me the run around of "it's still being processed" or just won't answer my calls. I will be going to the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Stay away from this dental office.

Took family to this office for what turned out to be a several hour visit. They frequently asked for cash payments for services "outside of my insurance" while I was sitting in the chair. Turns out all these charges were supposed to be covered and they decided to refund me $180 (I had to figure out that I was overcharged myself). However weeks later, no refund. Also they are impossible to reach by phone and instead you'll be routed to a call center, that is no help. Still waiting on refund at this time.

Dr. Caitlin Loyd's office still will not issue the refund they said they would. They said they would send me the refund after they fraudulently charged Delta dental for work they didn't do. Weeks later the office manager went back on his word and said they would possibly only give it back to my insurance company knowing that because of their fraud, I'd already paid out of pocket to get the work done somewhere else. Four weeks ago, the office manager said he'd get back to me in a couple days. He has not called or emailed. Now he will not answer my calls. I will have no other choice and will now be filing a small claims suit.

I'm a new patient to McKinney Dental Group & Orthodontics let me tell you, I had an Awesome experience! I was greeted by a nice lady at the desk whom quickly got me squared away. I met CoCo, a Dental Assistant who ushered me to the exam and procedure rooms. She's friendly, patient and professional and made me feel comfortable while she took pictures. Dr. Loyd broke down my issues I was having and conveyed her recommendations for treatment. I was listening but also thinking, "Where has this clinic been all my life?". A little later, my treatment details and charges were thoroughly explained to me by Eli Yen. He, like all the of the associates I met, answered all my questions and was very welcoming and helpful. I haven't been to the dentist in several years and I don't recommend it. I would however, recommend stopping by Mc Kinney Dental Group because they listen, propose options specific to your needs, and I firmly believe they'll the job done right!
