Dr. McKinley and his wife Debbie have lived on Hilton Head for several years. They have raised 6 children,Gwen, Brandon, Andrea, Grant II, Camden and Jay. Dr. McKinley practiced for 15 years in Michigan before moving to Hilton Head full time.Dr. McKinley's father, four brothers, and three uncles were all dentist. Soon to be empty nesters, Grant and Debbie look forward to bringing that legacy of care to Hilton Head.
His father Otis, a dentist in Fraser, Michigan built Pine Valley Golf and County Club in 1968. Dr. McKinley followed his father closely, graduating from the University of Detroit, School of Dentistry in 1983 and built his first golf course in 1987 , Brigadoon Golf Club. Yes he has built a few more since then;it seems dentistry and golf just go together in the McKinley family. So don't be surprised to look out the window of Dr. Grant's office and see a golf course.

Outstanding! Dr. Mckinley is an excellent dentist, supported by a professional and caring staff. Appointments begin on time, or early. All of the hygienists are experienced and take pride in doing their work. Dr. McKinley takes the time to listen and talk, ensuring superior care. Check out has never been simpler thanks to the front desk staff. Truly a "team" atmosphere, and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit!

Best Dentist and office I have ever been too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Candice will great you and is very knowledgeable. She researched what my insurance would cover with great accuracy and I received what they would cover right then and there. The office is very warm with personal articles about Dr. McKinley and his pilot father. The offices are very clean and well equipped. They have state of the art digital imagery so you don't have to take those horrible gooey impressions. Dr. McKinley gave me an accurate and precise diagnosis and best of all it was performed with skill, accuracy with minimal pain. I was and still am shocked about how efficient the entire system is. Now I have a beautiful smile. I never dreamed I would have such a wonderful outcome. Thank you.

Great and knowledgeable dentist. Grant has done a great job for everyone in our family. He performed a painless root canal and crown for me. Grant makes going to the dentist painless and fun. Debbie and all his office staff are polite and knowledgeable. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Went in for tooth ache which they finally figured out and pulled the tooth. He suggested a flapper which they did for $400 The flapper was awful, they never fixed the fit and said they would call me for an appointment to get a bridge. Never heard a word. They seem nice but they do not follow up on patients. Sad!
