As a Seattle University alumnus and graduate of the University of Southern California Dental School, Dr. Daniel McKay, continues to set himself apart by committing to a lifetime of learning. While attending the prestigious Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC-Live) in San Francisco, he acquired knowledge and training in advanced cosmetic, laser, and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. McKay is the dentist for the Seattle University athletics department. He is also a proud fellow of the International Dental Implant Association. Since 1993, Dr. McKay has established himself as one of the finest dentists in Seattle with praise from his patients and respect from his colleagues.
Dr. McKay was born and raised in Seattle with his 11 brothers and sisters. Hes married to his wife of 28 years, and have three grown children. You might find Dr. McKay outdoors golfing, skiing or hiking. Dr. McKay is also a fan of Seattle sports.
Invisalign is a great choice for our patients who are searching for a more discreet orthodontic treatment option. Rather than using metal brackets and wires like traditional braces, the Invisalign system uses a series of custom-made, computer-generated plastic aligners to straighten your smile. Each set of aligners is designed to make small changes to the alignment of the teeth. As you switch sets of aligners about every two weeks, your teeth will be gradually, gently guided to their proper positions. You will also visit our office on a regular basis during treatment to make certain that your smile is progressing as planned.

Outstanding dental care. Meticulous attention to detail in screening, examining, cleaning, during 50 minutes. Then Dr McKay examines, having already reviewed X-ray images, and explains findings, answers questions, makes additional second-level recommendations as required. Short waiting time, straightforward insurance/billing. A privilege to be cared for here.

The best experience, considering circumstances! I was seen the next day in am after my tooth broke. Dr McKay is the best! So kind, compassionate, highly professional with hands of gold. He made expeditious diagnosis and immediately proceeded to treatment. I did not feel a thing! Anesthesia - flawless, for entire time in the dental chair was a breeze: considering drilling two back teeth, making and fitting temporary crowns and putting them in right away. Amazing quality dental work - crowns fit in right away, like native and look like my teeth. I felt saved and proceeded with my usual routine right away. Dr. McKay is a wizard! Nothing short of magic! His office stuff - pure pleasure! I do not know what I would do without Dr. McKay. Thank you, sir, so very much!

Cosmetic dentist? Yes. But doesn't push the cosmetic side of things. He's been my dentist ever since my old dentist retired, and he does an exceptional job. As my old crowns have needed replacing, he's made ones that look just like my real teeth instead of giant blocks of concrete. But they're covered by my insurance, just like the big, ugly ones. I cannot recommend him highly enough! And a Seattle U grad, too -- but that's just a bonus. :)

I have been going to Dr. McKay for nearly a decade and he and his staff are the best! Found him originally when I had a debilitating tooth ache and he opened his office on a Saturday morning to take a look. Turns out the ankylosed molar I had was completely rotten on the inside. He got it fully resolved in a matter of days and I have been going there ever since. Couple years later a crown from my previous dentist popped off. He replaced it using the current methods in a day or so. The level of service and care he and his team displays for the patients is top notch. Couldn't recommend Dr. McKay more highly!

I have been a low maintenance patient of Dr. McKay for many years of scheduled cleanings and check ups. Recently, I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea by my physician who suggested either CPAP or an oral appliance therapy for my treatment. I contacted Dr. McKay and his team for information on the specialized mouth guard. I am pleased to have this option available and the process was easy. Dr. McKay and his team were very professional to make sure this was the right fit and followed up shortly after. I no longer snore or sound like Darth Vader when I sleep.
