Then she studied dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she received her DDS degree. She also received multiple academic awards and was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Besides leading her own practice, Dr. McGrory is a faculty member at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston. She lectures on topics related to orthodontics in the United States and abroad.

Dr. McGrory is an amazing orthodontist. She is who I trusted to do braces on my two daughters. As a parent and a dentist I was very picky on who I would trust to work on my daughters. Friendly, efficient, and clearly up to date about treatment methodologies. I've got a moderately wacky adult case and these folks are getting it fixed without yanking out all four perfectly good bicuspids like every other dentist I've seen in the last 15+ years tried to do. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Dr. McGrory and Dr. McCarty + all the technicians and staff are all AMAZING! I came in on a referral from an adult friend and had high expectations and this office continues, even almost a year in, to exceed them! They've made my adult-braces experience fly by so far and are super warm and smiley from the front door to the chair where they work on me (quickly and painlessly, I must say!). They also go above and beyond to make sure my three tag-along children are entertained with movies in the front waiting room so that I can enjoy my time in the chair in peace. ;) It's always a breeze scheduling my appointments and when I've had an orthodontic emergency they've found a way to squeeze me in! Even my husband has jumped on board and got his braces on this past fall- they've been very accommodating with his busy work schedule! We are super happy with McGrory Orthodontics and will continue to sing their praises to everyone we know!

I got a permanent retainer installed on my bottom teeth about 25 years ago. It finally broke, and I needed an orthodontist to help me decide whether to remove or replace it. McGrory Orthodontics got me an appointment the next morning. Dr. McGrory recommended removal, and got it done in about five minutes. All of the staff were very friendly and professional, and the facility was clean and modern. Masking and other COVID precautions were followed correctly. This seemed like it would be a good place to get braces. I was excited to learn that they have a little mouth scanner that eliminates the need for mouth molds, so the children of today no longer need to suffer through having a shovel full of goo shoved down their throats.
