Dr. Ashley McDowell graduated from Temple Universitys School of Dentistry, Magna Cum Laude. She studied at the renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and has taken numerous courses in areas including Aesthetics/Cosmetic Dentistry, Neuromuscular Dentistry, TMJ/TMD and Sleep Apnea in order to provide exceptional dental care to her patients.
Dr. Gary McDowell is a lifetime resident of the Abington Area and graduated from The William Penn Charter School (1968), Lafayette College (1972), and Temple University School Of Dentistry (1976). Dr. McDowells excitement with dental care is fueled by keeping up with current technology, materials, and technique.
Dr. Gary McDowell is a lifetime resident of the Abington Area and the son of Dr. James W. McDowell, who started this Dental Practice in 1947. He is a graduate of The William Penn Charter School (1968), Lafayette College (1972), and Temple University School Of Dentistry (1976).
Dr. Ashley McDowell is recognized as a premier cosmetic and general dentist serving the greater Philadelphia area. Dr. Ashley is a third generation dentist who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple Universitys School of Dentistry in 2011. With a desire to stay up to date and on the cutting edge of dentistry Dr. Ashley chose to continue her education at the renowned Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). Dr Ashley learned early on that post graduate education elevates the passion she has for dentistry. She has taken numerous courses in areas including Aethetics/Cosmetic Dentistry, Neuromuscular Dentistry, TMJ/TMD, Sleep Apnea and is a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Ashley values state-of-the-art technology, efficient techniques, and the highest quality materials to create the best possible outcome for each of her patients.
Dr. Ashleys love for the facial esthetics in dentistry has lead to her incorporating Botox, Dermal Fillers and Radiofrequency Technology (TempSure Envi) into her practice. Dr. Ashley believes it is a privilege to be able to improve ones smile and enhance ones natural beauty at the same time.
Dr. Ashley grew up in Rydal attending The William Penn Charter School and Lafayette College. She currently resides in Meadowbrook with her husband Billy and their 3 children, Maverick, Gunnar and Skylar. When not in the office Dr. Ashley is usually running around to various sporting events trying to manage 3 kids schedules. Once she recovers from ACL reconstructive surgery she looks forward to getting back to racquet sports and skiing.

I have never been more comfortable at a dentist in my life. to be honest I hated the dentist. until my wife brought me here. The doctors and everyone else on the staff are extremely friendly and make my visits as comfortable as can be expected. I couldn't be happier.

Best dental care I have ever received. Dr. Ashley and her staff provide thorough knowledge and explanation of choices as well as provide patients with current technology in a clean, welcome environment. For someone who has struggled with dental care her whole life, this is the first office I have felt comfortable and at ease with cleanings and procedures.

The McDowell office personnel are pleasant and knowledgeable. The office is clean and uses up to date, modern dental equipment. There is little to no wait time, when you arrive at the office. Easy to make an appointment via phone. I highly recommend Dr Ashley McDowell. She is an excellent dentist, with a nice personality. Two hour, same day crowns are made in this office, using Cerec technology.

Just had my first teeth cleaning with Rosemary. What a wonderful experience. Nice conversation and knew what she was doing the whole time. So far I would say McDowell Dental Group was a great choice.

I must say the staff is on point seems all the time. If your appointment is at 2:00 you can be assured you'll be seen at 2:00 no later than 2:05! They treat you like family Rose Mary has always done good work and Dr. Ashley as well. Good people good work!

The staff at McDowell Dental are fantastic. They were able to fit me in for a last minute appointment. This office uses high tech cleaning instruments that makes the experience VERY pleasant as they are not scraping your teeth with metal tools like conventional dentists. The hygienist and Dr. Ashley take time to talk to the patients and have excellent soft skills to make patients feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this office.
