I obtained both my BS and DDS degrees at the University of Detroit Mercy, graduating in 2005. I regularly participate in continuing education and local and state dental organizations. It is an obligation to our patients and profession to continually refresh our knowledge by staying current with the latest techniques and practices in the dental field.
Not only did I obtain my degrees at the University of Detriot Mercy, but I also earned a varsity letter in fencing. Married since 2005, I stay busy trying to keep up with my young sons and whippet dog. I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, spending time with family, scrapbooking, backpacking and hiking, and Disney.
I have been active in the local dental society since 2006, enjoying various committee and chair positions. During this time, I have been honored with two awards: the Presidents Award in 2008 and the Daniel J. Ganz Award in 2010. My most recent position has been President of the Kalamazoo District Society for the 2011-2012 year. The Michigan Dental Association recently honored me with the 2012 Matt Uday New Dentist Leadership Award.
Anne graduated from Ferris State University in 1980 and soon after began working in the dental field. Anne has been with McDougal Dental since 2005 as a Chairside Dental Assistant, and not only does she love to see happy and healthy smiles, but she loves to help patients achieve their health and sense of well-being through their dental care. Anne looks for perfection in all of her work. Growing up in the Magic Capital of the World, Colon, Michigan, she strives to create magic for each and every one of her patients here in Kalamazoo.
Jill graduated from Western Michigan University and has worked in the dental field since 2008. Since then, she started working at McDougal Dental in 2018 and has been a part of many patients smile journeys ever since. Jill will help to guide and review treatment plans with clients while also making sure each patients insurance is properly handled. Jill is originally from Morenci and moved to the area when she moved for college, she is married with one daughter named Stella.
Nicole began her career in the dental field in 2015 after obtaining her education from both Western Michigan University and Kellogg Community College. Shes been with McDougal Dental since 2021 and has since helped patients with excellent oral care, screenings, therapy, and more. Nicole loves to help patients achieve their oral health goals whether they be short or long term. Nicole is married with a 2 year old boxer named Buddha.
Nikki graduated from Kellogg Community College in 2005 and has worked in the dental field since 2002. Nikki started at McDougal Dental in 2006 and has since worked to give people a reason to smile again. She has worked with Dr. McDougal from the start and loves the care and attention this practice provides for its patients and plans to do the same for each of her patients.
Our ray of sunshine Mattie, joined us in 2021 and is instrumental in helping the McDougal Dental team keep an organized and clean working environment. Mattie is very down to earth, has a bright outlook, and loves to make people smile. Whether shes playing tennis, skiing or doing anything else, Mattie enjoys life to the fullest!
Randi has worked with McDougal Dental since 2015, and has been in the dental field since 2012 after receiving her education from Washtenaw Community College. Randi loves to create great customer experiences, whether that be a simple procedure or something very involved. Randi lives on 32 acres with her fianc and their 2 year old daughter, they love to be outdoors whether that be camping, swimming or hunting!
After graduating from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Tonya began working in the dental field in 2014, and started at McDougal Dental in 2020. Tonya makes sure to properly determine the best course of action for each individual patient while providing preventative measures for overall oral health. Tonya loves to make her patients feel comfortable and creates a friendly space for each client. She grew up in Allegan and moved to Kalamazoo for school. Her and her husband have one daughter named Sophie.
