Dr. McCullough attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA earning a BS in Pre-medicine Biology minoring in Psychology and Chemistry. He started his dental degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Reaching the top of his class after his freshman year he was granted the opportunity to transfer to a school closer to family and his future wife, Kallee. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.
He has an interest in the art of cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. He is currently working on accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which is the largest dental cosmetic organization in the world. In addition, he is completing a post-graduate program in orthodontics with Progressive Orthodontics Seminars.
He has made his home in Bakersfield with his wife, who is a professor at California State University, Bakersfield in the criminal justice department. They enjoy life at home with their two dogs, Remi and Sashka. Together they love exploring what California has for offer. During his free time, Dr. McCulloughs hobbies include building computers, hydroponic gardening, and staying fit.
I have been in the dental field since 1996. I have also been a certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgery assistant since 2014. Joining the dental field has been one of the best decisions I have made, helping patients obtain a healthy and beautiful smile is my number one goal. I came on board with Dr. McCullough in May 2015. I enjoy working for Dr. McCullough who pursues excellence and cares about his patients. I strive to do my best to help others be as comfortable as possible here in our office. During my time off I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and shopping.
I have been in dentistry for the past 21 years and serve as a clinical technician. I absolutely love what I do and love everything dentistry has to offer! In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, kids, and grandbabies! I love working with the public and enjoy meeting new people. I like to make every patient feel like they are family. Because they are!
As a university student earning her Bachelor of Science degree in 2002, Janie began working in dentistry in 2000 sterilizing dental instruments. She later worked in dental assisting, collections, billing, and as a receptionist. Shortly after earning her bachelors degree, Janie became a business manager. As a child, Janie was afraid of her dentist but, while working in dentistry, she decided to remain in dentistry to make an impact and help patients feel comfortable not fearful at the dentist and maintain good oral health. It is satisfying for her to see patients who formerly smiled without showing their teeth become confident about smiling after Dr. McCullough does their dental treatment; he transforms smiles like no other dentist she has ever worked for. During leisure time, Janie enjoys going to concerts, football games and baseball games with her husband and daughter.
I was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. I have been in dentistry for almost 10 years. As an insurance and billing specialist, I am here to assist our patients by explaining and discussing their insurance benefits and processing dental claims. In my free time, I like to go to the gym or travel with my daughter and husband.
Angela says she loves dentistry because the first thing people see is your smile. You dont get a second chance to make a first impression. Angela was born and raised in Bakersfield where she attended North High School. She immediately began pursuing a career in Dental Hygiene and attended the University of Southern Californias School of Dentistry. During her time at USC, she was nominated to be part of the student ethics committee. She graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Angela has been happily married since 2001 to her husband, Bret, and together they have three children. She is active locally in her childrens school and her book group of 18 years, and she enjoys scrapbooking and the outdoors.
Amber was born in Ohio but grew up in Fairfield County, Connecticut. She was an orthodontic assistant prior to attending the dental hygiene program. She attended the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport, which was the first dental hygiene school established in the world. She began her career in dentistry in 1998 as an orthodontic assistant and later became a hygienist. Amber moved to Bakersfield in 2004 with her husband, Robert, who is a Bakersfield native. They have two teenage children that keep them busy with extracurricular school activities and ministry with their church. In her very limited free time, Amber likes to hike, cook new things, and spend time with her family.

McCullough did a great job on my 2 tooth , I appreciated that he save my tooth. He's very nice man and other people in the office are a great and friendly. I'm happy with all of you guys. I will always come back and thank you for fixing my tooth

Best treatment in my 60+ yrs of dental history. My one v-isit crown on a front tooth was amazing! Dr McCullough is a master of his craft and everyone in the office is wonderful.

Amber is an amazing hygienist and the staff is jovial, courteous and pleasant to interact with. Definitely recommend this office to anyone seeking a change. Dr. McCullough seems to have his patients best interests in mind.

I think this is the best dental office I've found yet. My teeth feel sooo good after a cleaning here. But also I've had a crown made and I felt it was very good, fits right into my mouth like the real thing, and they matched the color of my other teeth. The office is very nice. Parking and location are convenient. I mean there's plenty of parking and the office is easy to find. Everyone there is pleasant and easy to work with. I highly recommend this dental office

Dr. McCullough and the Office Staff and Assistants who support him are by far the most caring and gentle people I've ever met in this industry. Never in my life have I looked forward to my dental appointments (as they all know). But Dr. McCullough and his staff have changed the way I've viewed dentistry. I get excited thinking about the incredible work that he is going to do for me! He goes all in, and does his very best every single time. And the results are always pleasing! I've been going here for almost 3 years. I loved it! Staff is super friendly even through covid super accommodating and I love the fact they offer LATER appts it was the best :) They transitioned to a different dentist and it was like NOTHING changed! Thank you guys!
