Dr. McCormick takes tremendous pride in his ability to give back to the county that raised him. A Danville native, he returned to Yell County to open up his dental practice immediately after graduating from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1984, having received his undergraduate degree in 1980 from the University of Central Arkansas. He has since put in hundreds of hours furthering his knowledge and skill set and incorporated the latest technological advances into his practice to provide an ever-higher level of dentistry to his community.
Michael has been happily married to his lovely wife, Dawn, since April of 1984, raising three outstanding children. Their oldest is Katie who, along with her husband Brett Papasan, are both practicing attorneys in Fayetteville, AR and have a son of their own, Davis. Their second child is Mallory, a nurse practitioner married to Tim Onarecker, a pediatrician. They live in Pittsburgh along with their daughter, Eleanor. Will McCormick is the youngest of the three, and has recently graduated from LSU Dental School. He is now joining his father in the family practice this year!
Dr. McCormick is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle, and regularly volunteers at the River Valley Christian Clinic to ensure every member of his community has access to top-quality dental care. He also enjoys fly fishing, bow hunting and spending his free time with his family.
A May 2017 grad of the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Will McCormick is proud to join his family's owned and operated dental practice. Will is a lifelong resident of Dardanelle, graduating from Dardanelle High School in 2008.
Following his father's footsteps, Will also attended the University of Central Arkansas and graduated in December of 2012 with a degree in Biology. He was an active member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity at UCA.
She is happily married to her husband Johnny, with whom she has raised two children, Macey and Gaige. Macey and her husband Austin have a son Oliver, and are expecting a baby girl in April of 2017. When Kim isn't working with us, she can be found in the great outdoors with a fishing rod in hand.
She and her husband Aaron lead an active outdoor lifestyle and enjoy hunting and fishing together. Karen's children are Kirsten Tuggle (married to Blaine Tuggle) and Kody Kizer who, along with his wife Elizabeth are expecting Hunter Wess Kizer in August of 2017!
Taffy brings over 15 years of experience in dental hygiene with her to our firm. A 2002 graduate of UAFS, she is exceptionally knowledgeable, and our patients look to her when they need info on their oral health.
