Dr. Michael McCleaster graduated from The College of New Jersey honors program with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UMDNJ New Jersey Dental School in the top of his class and was a member of the Prosthodontic Honor Society. He then completed a competitive General Practice Residency at Morristown Medical Center where he was mentored by some of the most experienced dentists in New Jersey.
Dr. McCleaster is proud to be a member of the Tricounty Dental Society, the New Jersey Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. McCleaster believes learning is a life-long endeavor and has pursued extensive continuing education including cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and implant dentistry. He completed a comprehensive implant continuum at Columbia University and he is also a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. McCleaster began his professional career at a premiere cosmetic dental practice in Hoboken where he practiced for many years and developed a loyal following. Dr. McCleaster was born and raised in Morris County. After living in Hoboken for several years, Dr. McCleaster and his wife Kelly have settled in Randolph with their daughter. Dr. McCleaster is an avid outdoorsman and an Eagle Scout. When he is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, and going to the shore.
Dr. McCleaster is an amazing dentist. My husband, children, and I have been seeing him for years and he is consistently warm, caring, skilled, and gentle. My husband first saw him for an emergency visit in 2014 when he cracked his front tooth. Dr. McCleaster bonded the tooth back together with the expectation that it would hold for a limited amount of time. Well, 5 years later, its still in place! I was so impressed with his skill and demeanor, that I began bringing my 3 children to see him as well. Each visit has been positive, pain free, and ends with a trip to the prize box, which they love. Dr. McCleaster is truly a wonderful family and cosmetic dentist and I highly recommend him.
As someone who has major teeth issues, Dr. McCleaster has been the only doctor I allow to do work on my mouth. He has a great bedside manner, very detail-oriented and always takes the time to perfect the issue at hand. He has the best intentions for his patients and has always gone above and beyond for me. He is the best!
I highly recommend Dr. McCleaster. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable. I cracked one of my molar teeth and had significant pain. Dr. McCleaster was able to see me the same day. The procedure was quick and painless. I truly appreciate his willingness to accommodate me and most of all his kindness.

For me, going to the dentist had always brought some anxiety, but I thankfully found that it doesn't have to be like that. Once I met the McCleaster Family, everything changed. It has always been a great experience with the most knowledgeable and caring staff. Thank you so much!

Dr McCleaster is patient and incredibly thorough with his work. He definitely takes his time! The entire staff is amazing, caring and gentle. I've never liked going to the dentist but with this office I feel safe and heard!

The room was very clean with all new equipment and the staff was very friendly. There was no pressure to do additional dental work. It had been almost 2 years since my last cleaning and it was painless, walked out with nice clean teeth.

I upgraded from my pediatric dentistry to McCleaster Family dental late last year and could not be happier with this decision. I was overdue for a cleaning and the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Clarice has decades of experience and takes an appropriate amount of time (20-40 minutes, sometimes more) to clean teeth. I've had friends at other dentists tell me their hygienist only spends 5 minutes cleaning!! Yuck! I have since committed to a year long clear correct aligner process with Dr McCleaster and things are going well. There was an instance where I needed to adjust one of my attachments ahead of schedule and the staff did not hesitate to accommodate my schedule need. They are able to answer all questions I ask and I feel comfortable trusting their best judgement as true professionals of the craft.

Dr.McCleaster and his staff are amazing. They are approachable, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They treat each patient as if they are part of the family. My children typically do not like going to the dentist but with Dr. McCleaster they are willing to get their teeth cleaned. Thank you for making going to the dentist easy. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Doctor McCleaster and the hygienists are extremely thorough in their work and explain things every step of the way. I got ALOT of cosmetic work done and it came out fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the results I obtained. Great dentist practice!

Dr. McCleaster and his team are wonderful! The office staff is attentive and it is easy to schedule and/or change appointments. Dr. McCleaster has worked on several crowns and each time I am amazed at his attention to detail. Clarice is an amazing hygienist and has worked with me to prevent issues before they become bigger ones. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this practice!

I needed a change from the dental office I was using because I was not happy with them. I started coming to McCleaster Family Dental & I have been very happy with my services. The office and staff are warm and inviting which was lacking at the other office. I'm sooo glad I made this much needed switch.

McCleaster Family Dental is fantastic not only at dentistry but also patient care. I'm usually very scared of the dentist because I've needed a lot of work done in the past, but McCleasters has always reassured me and made sure that I was ready for whatever procedure needed to be done :D
