Dr. Amanda McCauley was raised in Richmond, Virginia and attended the University of Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry. She moved back to Richmond to earn her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated in 2013. Dr. McCauley left Virginia after dental school to pursue advanced education in general dentistry in a one-year residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina. She moved to Seattle in July 2014 with her husband, Matt, where she worked as a dental associate before opening her own practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
As transplants to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Amanda McCauley, her husband Matt, and her two sons continue to explore everything that Seattle has to offer! In her free time she enjoys reading a good book, singing with Matt while he plays the guitar, baking, and traveling with the whole family! Dr. McCauley is very excited to bring her vision of a relaxing, comfortable dental practice to life and cannot wait to meet her new patients in Bothell.
My dental experience and educational background.I started working in a dental office during college for my dad (the dentist). I have done everything from cleaning the office, to assisting the dentist, to running the practice. After he retired and sold the practice I stayed with the new dentist for 16 years. Now is the time for a new chapter in my life!

The staff was amazing. Super communicative and informative. They were professional and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of like I was at past locations. Would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

I am so disappointed with the service in this office. I went to place a crown in one of my teeth depends on the recommendation of the dentist .After placing a crown I felt a great pain .I wasn't complaining from any pain before placing this crown. After paying more than 500 $ out of my pocket plus what my insurance paid .She directed me to an Endodontist who asked for another more than 500$ to do a root canal for the same teeth. When went back to the dentist to tell her that I haven't had any pain before placing that crown in my tooth she declined that her process maybe the reason for that and the reason is that I had a bad tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is that funny? I donot recommend that office at all.

Best dentist I have ever been to. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They are professional and really helpful. The deep cleaning is gentle and efficient. My teeth and gums are healthier after cleaning. They always provide the most professional and effective advice. I completely trust Dr McCauley to taking care of my teeth. Cannot recommend Dr McCauley and her team enough.

Friendly, empathetic, experts. They don't cower to payers (insurance). They always do the right thing for their patients and won't let any other entity disrupt their pursuits for the latest and best technology. And Janis is one of my favorite people to chat with about whatever while I'm waiting. Oh, and they're great with kids too!

I chipped off a piece of my front tooth and I consulted many many doctors. Some recommended crown or root canal and many other expensive procedures spanning over weeks. But it was my good luck that I stumbled upon doc McCauley's clinic. She is such a friendly nice warm person and she completed repairing my tooth in 40 minutes in the least possible cost. I told her I have to reach work by 9 am and she started at 7am . Strongly recommend her for any tooth issues

Glad I found a dental clinic that listens to all my concerns and address it too. Everyone is so friendly and very honest on what dental care you really need. Just had fillings done and I don't remember it having painless than the last time i had it done. Thanks McCauley Dental!

One of the better experiences I have had at the dental office. I am usually cold sensitive to my cleanings but I am not here. Kim and Dr. McCauley take great care of my teeth.

I found Dr. M's place last year after experienced poor quality of care at another dentist. I have been very happy with everyone here. They are all very nice, professional and love what they do. They are also very proactive in keeping my teeth healthy. They fixed the troublesome crown done by the other place, and introduced me to Bothell OMS to get my implant back on track.

I've only had two appointments at this office but I can already say it's been an amazing experience. Kim is my hygienist and she's always easy to talk to and walks me through everything she's doing. She also gives me tips on how to brush my teeth more effectively, which I've never been told before! Dr. McCauley was prompt and had an upbeat energy to her and I felt comfortable in that chair, the hand wax that they offer is a nice touch too.

Been going to Dr. McCauley for over a year now and the team is absolutely wonderful. They actually make going to the dentist enjoyable! They are super friendly, have the latest and greatest technology, and my teeth have never been more healthy and white. Highly recommend!
