Dr. Cheryl McCarty is a caring, compassionate dentist with a passion for her work and years of experience. She practiced as a registered nurse for twelve years prior to attending University of Colorado School of Dentistry, graduating in 1988. She completed her residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York, in June of 1990. She first practiced as a dentist in Kansas for two years prior to moving to Colorado. In September of 1993 she opened this practice and has been here ever since.

We view each patient as a unique individual, and tailor each treatment to your specific needs. Nidia is a Colorado native who grew up in Boulder. She received her EDDA (expanded duties dental assistant) certification from IBMC in Longmont. She is mom to two young boys with her husband, Jesus. Nidia loves spending time with her family watching football or hiking in the beautiful outdoors that is Colorado. Her older son plays basketball and flag football, but the younger one just likes to jump off the couch. Those boys keep Nidia pretty busy!
Nidia loves working in dentistry and has ambitions to further her education in the field, possibly becoming a hygienist or dentist in the future. While her kids are young, though, she is very happy to be working with Dr. McCarty and her teammates at McCarty Dental.
Allison is from Pocatello, Idaho. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University a long time ago ;-) She has four kids and one amazing husband who make life fun and happy. She enjoys reading, baking, music and traveling.
Kathe 's very first job (well, not counting babysitting) was in a dental office in Midland, Michigan. There have been a few changes since those days - computers, anyone? - and she 's excited to be back where it all started. Kathe has three adult sons with husband, Jeff, whom she met and married while in college at Western Michigan University. Yes, Jeff met his 'gal in Kalamazoo!'
Kathe is passionate about her family, piano, handbells (come see the Pikes Peak Ringers), Auburn University football, and the Colorado Rockies. Her claim to fame is playing piano with Condoleezza Rice at a benefit concert for the Make A Wish Foundation. She has recorded three performance CDs with her 4-hand-piano partner from Atlanta. Kathe also enjoys quilting, cooking, spending time with friends & family and lives at Coors Field in the summer. If you want to get her talking, just ask 'how 'bout them Rockies' but be prepared for a baseball fanatic reply...

After my appointment yesterday I know I have found my forever Dentist. The entire office is professional but inviting. I left with great feeling teeth and I was not sore. What a wonderful experience, and I don't like going to the Dentist. Now I can't wait to go back. Thank you Mccarty Dental

I really enjoyed Dr. McCarty and her staff. Dr. McCarty was sure to explain everything she saw and what she was seeing. It's a small intimate office and I just really enjoyed the feel of it. I changed dentists bc of insurance coverage and am so thankful to find this gem!

Being brand new to Louisville area, I felt welcome and have had the best experience after years of not going to dentist, Dr. McCarty has been a joy to visit, makes me feel right at home. She is very concerned about fixing my teeth and making it affordable. Very well thought out game plan for my dental care.

Best dentist I have ever had. I have had problems with overaggresive cleaners and left with a migraine, and that never happens here. Dr. McCarty is the best.

Dr. McCarty is the best! My family has been seeing Dr. McCarty for 15+ years and her care is always awesome. Staff is always courteous and efficient. I recently had a dental emergency while overseas, in an area with no real dental care, and she talked me through suggested mitigation steps to get home and what to do afterward, even booking my visit to an endodontist. A++++

My husband and I have been going to Dr. McCarty's office for over 20 years. Our daughter grew up seeing Dr. McCarty and her staff. We have always received excellent service from each individual in the office. Dr. McCarty and the staff have always been very kind, patient and helpful, explaining procedures and getting us into the office promptly when unexpected situations arose with our teeth. I believe my teeth and overall oral health have benefited from the regular cleanings and the recommendations of daily flossing, etc. As with any type of personal health, it's important to listen to your Dr and ask questions to keep yourself actively involved and aware of your needs. Dr. McCarty's communicates in a very warm and approachable manner. I feel very comfortable asking her and her staff questions regarding my appointments and any treatments/services. I highly recommend Dr. McCarty for anyone needing a dentist.
