Worst patient care!!! This dental practice is only about obtaining as much money as possible from your dental insurance and not about providing quality dental patient care. As a disabled veteran being sent through the VA community care program my experience with Dr. McBride from my initial visit was a complete and utter disappointment on how he treats patients. My enamel erosion (due to GERD and acid reflux) was accused by Dr. McBride towards taking opioids which I have never taken even after explaining my medical condition. Next due to his billing office not submitting the correct documents to the VA, my appointments were rescheduled because they had not received reimbursement from the VA. The final and most recent experience had me come to his practice thinking I was being seen for a crown, only to be told he had not received payment from the VA and that I needed to work with his billing technician about contacting the VA and getting reimbursed and no treatment was rendered. Needless to say I wasted my time coming into his office under the guise of an appointment only to be told I would not be treated. Truly disappointed with my experience and being treated as a second class citizen after serving and defending our country for 26 years.

I have been to this office to have teeth put back into my denture with no problems. Today I needed to have the front tooth put back in so I could look human and was told it would be Thursday. I told the receptionist the doctor didn't need to see me because I didn't see him last time which was in April or May but she didn't even try to help me. I ended up going to the dentist my insurance covers which is twice as much money and I have to go without teeth until tomorrow. I feel she could have been a little more compassionate.

I don't profess to be a religious person, but I certainly did fall to my knees and thank God Almighty for the angels that he sent when I left the office of Dr. McBride. That was on Monday, but I had spoken to the aforementioned angel on the previous Saturday, on the weekend, when he returned my call after I left a rather frantic message on his machine. He returned my call, on a Saturday, himself, we will call that miracle number one. Turns out that his offices were opening again on Monday (closed due to covid-19), and even though they were slammed with existing patients, they got me in that morning at 10 am. Miracle number 2. Miracle number 3 was already in play, the entire staff listening to my situation not only without judgement but with compassion, understanding that in my head, there was an absolute need for urgency. You see, my top denture had broken in half a week before, and not having a huge income, I had convinced myself that I could just keep gluing it and it would be okay. That it wouldn't result in the nightmare of not having any upper teeth. Well, dentures, once broken, will only take so much glue. Still acting as saints, there was not even a snicker or intake of breath when they laid their eyes on the pathetic state of my missing front -tooth- epoxy- and gorilla- glue ladened denture. Angels, I tell you. There was no time wasted on irrelevant details, there was only solution, and off my denture went ...to the On-Site denture lab! Should I even continue to count the miracles? Every blessed step of the way felt like another one. In minutes they were back to make the mold, after which I was told I could leave, but that I should return for my brilliantly repaired denture...that very afternoon! The hours without teeth were long only because any time spent without teeth is torture, but so so so worth it! When I returned to their office, I was brought straight back, presented my denture, and it was placed perfectly into my eager mouth. Can i just get a Hallelujah here ? Checking my bite to be sure, I was right, no adjustments even had to be made! It was /is sheer perfection, fitting better than the one before, and fitting as it should, actually supporting my upper lip and basically erasing all the tiny lines my last denture seemed to encourage. It is Wednesday now, and I am still smiling, feeling like I am puckering but knowing that's where my lips were always supposed to be. And I am not ashamed to say that since Monday, I have prayed so that I could Thank God for Dr. McBride and his entire staff!!!!

I have very complex medical problems that make it hard to decide whether an implant will work for me. Dr. McBride has been very careful not to promise more than he can recommend with confidence. I appreciate his cautious approach to my care. He will not recommend a plan just because it's what a patient wants.

I'm very happy with the result of my tooth repair. The doctor explained to me exactly the procedure I went through and how my insurance would cover it. The staff was very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Amazing service! I set an appointment just a few days out for an exam and cleaning. They have specials! Quick, efficient, and easy care that made me rethink how much I hate going to the dentist. Highly recommended! Great people!

Went to my "regular" dentist on a Monday due to a cracked lower denture. My dentist no longer had a dental lab on premises, and would have to send denture out for repair. He said it would take three weeks. I looked online for a Dentist in North County with a dental lab on premises. I found Dr. McBride and went to his office on Thursday as a "walk in". An hour and a half later I walked out of his office, not only with a repaired denture, but reinforced with a stainless steel band. Better and stronger than the original denture. Even though I was not one of his patients, he took care of me as if I had been going to him for years. The entire staff was caring and helpful at every step. Thank you Dr. McBride, and your staff, for everything you did for me.

Dr. McBride is the best dentist I have had in over 50 years. The office staff are very professional and friendly and the on site lab puts out excellent workmanship and quality. Dr. McBride is a very nice guy who really cares for his patients. Would rate 6 stars if I could.

Dr. McBride and his staff are absolutely the best! From the moment you walk into their facility you get the feeling the quality of service you're going to get is exactly what you expect. They are extremely state-of-the-art. To me it's incredible you can walk into a place and in no time at all walk back out with a brand new solid Porcelain Crown that's been custom-made. My family and myself have been coming to McBride Dental now for a couple years and I couldn't be happier that we made the switch to McBride Dental.

I have been going to McBride Dental for almost 3 years now. Tasha, my dental hygienist, does an amazing job. As many of us are, I am not a big fan of going to the dentist. Every time I have a cleaning, though, I realize there's no need for these apprehensions. Tasha does a thorough job, while being gentle. Vidia in the front office is awesome! She is super helpful answering questions and a generally fun, happy person. Everything in the office and exam rooms is always clean. Easy to get to in San Marcos with plenty of parking.
