Dr. Bruce McArthur started this practice over 32 years ago. Our latest edition is a 3-D Cone-Beam CT scanner which currently less than 1% of dental offices in the United States have. This modern equipment, along with Dr. Luecks additional training, means you and your family can be treated without being referred to outside offices as frequently.
Kathleen has worked in dentistry for 30 years and brings valuable experience to our Lakewood dental team. She is our Treatment Coordinator but is known as the Scheduling Queen. Kathy loves working with the best dental team in Colorado! She values her faith, family, as well as friends and holds a strong belief that the people we serve give her life more meaning. Kathy loves finding ways to make patients smile! Her hobbies include photography, gardening, and decorating. She also loves spending time with her 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
Leslie joined McArthur Dentistry 8 years ago and has been in dentistry for 25 years. Along with extensive experience in the dental field, she brings a friendly smile and enthusiasm to our office every day. As our Financial Coordinator, she understands that dental care is a vital part of overall health yet many people skip the care they need due to issues with costs. Leslie works hard to help see that patients dont neglect their oral health due to budget concerns. Her hobbies include staying fit, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
Debbie has worked as a registered dental hygienist with McArthur Dentistry in Lakewood, CO for nineteen years. She graduated from Loma Linda University. In her free time, Debbie enjoys water skiing, wake boarding, snow skiing, and dirt biking with her husband, Mike.
Gene is originally from Chicago, but fell in love with Colorado while vacationing with his family in the mountains surrounding Salida. Gene enjoys making connections with his patients and building long, trusting relationships. In his spare time, he likes to ski, hike, play ice hockey, go bike riding, and do home improvement projects. Gene and his wife also enjoy spending time with their two children and four grandchildren.
For over thirty years, Brenda has been working in the dental field as an expanded duties dental assistant. She finds it a joy and honor to work on the McArthur Dentistry team where she is surrounded by other caring and competent dentists. Brenda focuses on treating each patient with respect and love, and she enjoys meeting new patients who soon become her friends. Brenda and the rest of our dental team are committed to staying up-to-date in advanced training and continuing education. She is married and has two children, and she loves being a grandmother. In her spare time, Brenda loves to run, ride her bike, and take long walks with her husband.
Liz brings over 30 years of dental experience to our Dental Team. Her attention to detail and enthusiasm to maintain high quality dentistry is exceptional. Her smile is contagious and she is a friend to all of her patients. Her hobbies include skiing, camping boating, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Allie has been working in the dental field as an assistant since 2005. She obtained her dental assisting certification from Warren Tech and her expanded duties certification from The University of Colorado Dental School. Allie throughly enjoys all aspects of dentistry. One of her favorite parts is getting to chat with all the nice patients at McArthur Dentistry. Outside the office you can find Allie spending time with her husband and their golden doodle Foxy, playing golf, hiking, and traveling.
Lara is our Office Administrator and the wife of Dr. Lueck. She grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She loves the energy of our dental team and works hard to help keep the office running smoothly. She believes that our patients deserve an amazing dental experience. Her favorite times are those spent with her husband and their 2 young sons.
Dr. Michael Lueck was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He decided in 3rd grade that he wanted to be a dentist. He received a double degree Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Biology and Exercise Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
Throughout college, Dr. Lueck worked as an assistant to an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. Upon graduation, Dr. Lueck commissioned with the United States Air Force. He received the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
Following dental school, Dr. Lueck was selected to attend an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. While there, he received advanced training in many complex dental procedures including; crown and bridge, dental implants, root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, intravenous sedation, and sleep apnea.
Dr. Lueck served in Germany and several bases in Colorado. Throughout his military career he continued to receive advanced training, working diligently to provide the best comprehensive dental treatment to our service men and women. He currently serves as the Superintendent of General Dentistry for the Colorado Air National Guard.

McArthur Dentistry holds some of the kindest people I've ever met. Kathleen and Leslie go out of their way to make you feel like family, while Dr. Mike and the rest is the staff do nothing but perform high quality dental work. I could not recommend this business more highly!

The absolute greatest choice I made for myself and my teeth was giving McArthur Dentistry a try. Seeing Kathleen and Leslie when I first arrive not only makes me calm and comfortable, it makes my heart genuinely happy. I had never experienced an honest, trustworthy, and supportive doctor until I met Dr Mike. His entire team makes me feel like I'm visiting family when I'm in the office. Getting dental work done isn't fun, but it's much more tolerable when you're surrounded by good people. I'll forever be grateful for finding this office!

We are so grateful for the staff at McArthur! We have been going here for 5+ years. Dr Mike has been wonderful to work with and we appreciate his straightforward approach. Some dentist offices feel like they are trying to sell you procedures and this office was the opposite. I have a lot of fear around dental procedures and everyone was so kind when big issues arose. Lots of payment options and transparency! Highly recommended!

McArthur Dentistry is the best dental team I have ever had, hands down. From the warm welcome I get from Kathy and Leslie every time I walk in the door, to the excellent and thoughtful dental care I get from Dr. Mike and his (my) team, Liz, Ali and Debbie, I just couldn't be more thankful. Dr. Mike always takes the time to explain everything and I never feel like he is rushed to move on to the next patient. Every time I go to the dentist I get thorough, quality dental care from kind and caring people, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was looking for a recommendation for a new dentist after my dentist retired, and I could not be happier with McArthur Dentistry! This is the friendliest group of people anywhere!! Competent, knowledgeable, and caring. Everyone explains everything at every step of the way. Dr. Mike is down to earth and so nice. They do everything to make the experience pleasant and pain free. The front desk ladies are amazing and so sweet! Great atmosphere as well. I highly recommend for anyone!

Without the slightest bit of hesitation do I recommend McArthur Dentistry. The Staff has all been there a long time and clearly love their job! Dr. Lueck is attentive and very personable and will spend time with you. I only wish I could take this practice to my new home. If you need an excellent family dentistry practice--look no further!

Just got done at the dentist today and I feel like I just got done at the bar. No joking and no funny gas lol I just had a great time with what felt like old friends. I love these guys! So polite and friendly and just good people living honest lives, which goes a long way in this day and age. Don't hesitate to switch to these guys. This office is amazing. The front desk staff are friendly and know who you are when you walk through the door. The dental staff is thorough and always do a great job. Dr. Mike explains everything and ensures the work is perfect but is also conservative in what he recommends. Appontments run on time so you never wait long. I highly recommend this place!

This is by far the most amazing team here at Mcarthur. From Leslie, and Kathleen that where so pleasant over the phone AND in person are just to say the least. When I entered, I was a bit nervous (but who isn't at dentists?), but I was greeted by the amazing gals and felt welcomed instantly. Everyone had smiles under those masks and had such a great vibe to the practice. Gene is very informative at explaining the procedure's and was open to all and any questions/concerns I had, that being said, Doc Michael was just that! He explained everything to me that needed to get done but was not pushy like some dentists I have gone to before, I feel very comfortable coming back and I don't trust most people, But I do this awesome team! Thank You all for being positive and welcoming to your new client :-)

for my autistic and hypersensitive folks, this is the first genuinely accommodating dentist i have ever been to. autism-related sensitivities have made going to the dentist a very unpleasant and generally overwhelming experience ever since i was a kid, but everyone here is so accommodating and nice about it. they let me wear earbuds, have out fidget toys, ask if i want to wear the lead jacket as a weighted blanket, & always check in to make sure i'm doing okay/ask if i need anything. they never make me feel uncomfortable or judged and always understand when i say something's bothering me. 10/10 very safe space, highly recommend. :)

Each time I have an appointment here it is always a great experience. The staff is welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to keep you comfortable throughout the duration of your visit. Dr. Mike is excellent and provides outstanding care while giving you insight and knowledge to options that may be a better fit for the work you may need done. Walking into McArthur Dentistry is such a pleasant experience because you are greeted with such warm and smiling faces from Leslie and Kathleen. The office is filled with light and beautiful decor. Next, whether you are getting a cleaning or some other dentistry it is a pleasant experience with Dr. Mike or the hygienist. Dr Mike is so careful and such an expert in what ever dental procedure he does. He makes sure you are comfortable and not hurting in the least. Plus, the best part, is he makes you laugh the whole time...he is very humorous and fun plus being a great dentist. Last but not least are the amazing photos in every room. You can just imagine being in the beautiful places the photos represent and drift away while you are being worked on. The photos look like National Geographic pictures at their best. Overall it is the best dentistry I have ever experienced and my teeth agree with me!
