Dr. McAllister has carried on the family tradition by following in her father’s footsteps. Dr. Robert Frost and his wife, Pat, started the dental practice on State Avenue in 1977. Dr. McAllister joined the practice in May, 1990. She worked with him until he passed away in 2000

Realizing that her practice had outgrown the current facility, dreams of a new building with more room and advanced technology was started. The construction was completed in July of 2004. Dr. McAllister’s vision and passion for design and color make for a beautiful environment for her patients to feel at home

Dr. McAllister’s full time staff consists of two Registered Dental Hygienists, two Clinical Assistants and three Business Team Members. They take great pride in providing a warm, friendly and fun atmosphere. They enjoy getting to know their patients both personally and professionally

Dr. Lillus McAllister grew up in Wyandotte County and graduated from Washington High School in 1975. She began her career in dentistry when she graduated from UMKC in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 11 years. She returned to UMKC Dental School and received her D.D.S. in 1990. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and the 1st and 5th District Dental Societies. She participates in the charitable dental projects KMOM(Kansas Mission of Mercy) and Dentistry With A Heart. Dr. McAllister lives in Lenexa with her husband, Dr. Doug McAllister, a veterinarian in Lenexa. They have three children. She is passionate about providing a Christian education for her children, who attend Maranatha Academey in Shawnee. She is an active member of Cross Points Church in Shawnee. An avid KU basketball fan, she now must show some support for Kansas State University where her daughter is attending

Patty joined our team in 2004. She is a 1999 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. She has many years of experience with advanced periodontal therapy. Patty takes pride in serving people. Her excellent clinical skills and ability to help patients with their fear of dentistry, thru laughter and kindness, makes her an invaluable member of our team. Patty is passionate about educating and helping our patients achieve not only optimum periodontal health, but overall health and wellness. Patty and her husband, Dan, live in Wyandotte County. Her greatest joy is being mom to her two athletic sons, Andrew and Sammy, who are involved in sports year round. Patty enjoys gardening, landscaping, cross word puzzles and a healthy lifestyle which now includes ballroom dancing

Cindy had been a dental assistant for five years before joining our team in 2002. With her warm and soft spoken manner, she is able to make even the most anxious patient feel right at ease. Cindy is an animal lover, caring for many of her own pets. She enjoys a healthy lifestyle, spending time with family and friends, live music and motorcycle excursions including helping to raise money for Bikers For Babies

Therese joined our team in 2000, working part-time as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has enjoyed working in dentistry since 1973 and became our Office Manager in 2005. Therese graduated from Johnson County Community College in 1977 with a degree in Dental Hygiene, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from the University of Kansas in 1982. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. Therese feels very blessed to have her family and friends be such an important part of her life. She is a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Shawnee. She enjoys live theater, Bunko and always has her bags packed ready to travel with friends
