Dr. Andrus has earned the designation of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. This course of advanced training requires exceptional dedication to dental continuing education and the completion of a rigorous program of study that demands excellence. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada have qualified for AGD Fellow status.
Dr. Andrus understands the common phobia of dentistry and offers three levels of sedation to help his patients overcome this fear; Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Oral Conscious Sedation, and our strongest level of sedation- Intravenous Sedation.
He is also trained in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support. He is a 2018 and 2019 Invisalign Gold Plus Provider and has earned a Fellowship from New York University in Implant Dentistry.
Prior to entering the dental field, Dr. Andrus served five years in the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, Okinawa, Japan, and Iraq. He volunteers multiple times every year throughout the state to provide dentistry to those in need.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Andrus enjoys spending time with his wife, Faviola, and two children, Makayla and Denise. When he is not with his family, he spends his time running, weightlifting, and playing outdoor sports.
Dr. Sope has extensive experience in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, including Smile Designs, Smile Makeovers, Invisalign treatment, full-mouth rehabilitation, endodontics, restorations, veneers, and laminates. He has provided lectures to train and educate dentists in India.
Dr. Sope was born and raised in India. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in 2011 from Tema Dental College & Hospital in Mumbai and practiced with his Uncle in India for four years, before moving to the United States in 2015. He completed a Master of Science in Biology at the Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, before moving to Oklahoma and working at My Dentist-McAlester.

Dr.Andrus and the assistant did an excellent job. Had some fillings redone that were previously done incorrectly at a different office. I hate needles and Dr andrus did an EXCELLENT job when numbing me. 5 stars well deserved.

I was looking for a dentist here in McAlester and thought we'd try here and it was extremely easy to get in and set up appointments. Very knowledgeable and caring staff and doctor was just as amazing. Was able to accommodate my grandfather in a wheelchair which was awesome. They were able to solve all our issues very quickly. Would recommend :)

Dr. Andrus is the freaking man! I will go no where else, forever. Thank you for getting that tooth out for me! Absolutely no pain & the fastest extraction I've ever had.. This after being turned away at another local dentist & sent to an oral surgeon. He pulled it right out with no problem. Thank you Erin for getting me in so quick!

I went here for about 3 years while it was named "My Dentist" and I saw Dr. Andrus who I have nothing but amazing things to say about him. He was a great dentist and I always was super happy after a visit with him. However, they were always trying to get more and more money out of me and my ex husband at the time. Even when I was just coming for my 6 month cleanings, they would try to sell me teeth whitener. Sometime last year they changed to McAlester lifetime dentistry and I was never contacted about this change or ALL the staff changing. I just found out for myself when I went for my 6 month cleaning this February. They not only called me repeatedly every day for a week trying to "confirm the appointment " even though I had already confirmed it via text and email, but also told me AT THE VISIT that I would have to pay almost $100 for my cleaning which is covered by soonercare. So I left and refused to pay. Just went to a new dentist today who told me it's illegal for them to charge someone for something that insurance automatically covers. so just beware coming here.

Listen, unfortunately I wasn't raised to take care of my teeth therefore my health. That being said, I don't go to the dentist until I have issues unfortunately. The Providers here are educated and actually truly care about their patients. I will now be seen for routine cleanings and what Dr. recommends as a plan to take care of my health!

I normally hate the dentist but the girls that took the x rays and cleaning were so sweet. I was honest about my dislike to the dentist but they took their time to make me comfortable. The doctor came in and said no cavities and beautiful teeth and didn't try to say I needed any needless procedures just to make more money.

Abosultely ridiculous, love the way they took my insurance at the first of the yr and they wait till I am at the office for my appointment to tell me they no longer take it. so I wasted time going to McAlester and gas! And then the prices jus to be seen are ridiculous! I don't recommend this place.

The personal were very helpful and kind. They are very high tech and very thorough in their evalution. The Dentist was very informative and kind. They provide an expense report before they proceed with their treatment, which I found helpful.The program there is capable of providing all you oral dental needs. I HIGHLY recommend this service.
