Dr. Pete, his wife, Mary and their three kids, Megan, Kelly and Kate live on a tree farm in Derby. Mary is an RN in Pre-admissions at Moore Regional Hospital. She graduated with a degree in Nursing from East Carolina University. Megan is a graduate from North Carolina State University with a Bachelorsin Biological Engineering. Kelly is a graduate from East Carolina University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree degree in Nutrition & Dietetics. Kate is a sophomoreatEast Strasbourg University in Pennsylvania and is goalie for their lacrosse team.She is interested in Veterinary Medicine.

The family enjoys living in the country and has dogs, horses and chickens. The area they live is wonderful for riding bicycles, one of their main activities. Dr. McKay has used bicycling as a way to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society for over 20 years, and his daughters are now involved in that effort. Megan and Kelly have completed a Bike the US for MS ride across America from Yorktown, VA to San Francisco, CA, raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis cause.

Dr. McKay spends time away from dentistry with work at the tree farm. This has involved both forest and wildlife habitat improvement. He hasallowed a conservation easement on his property along Naked Creek in effort to help preserve this valuable water source. Hedoes a lot with woodworking, often involving starting with the tree or other rough cut timber of many species of wood. For fun and exercise he rides bikes.

As a dentist, Dr. McKay has enjoyed a broad base experience for over 30 years, being involved in many aspects of dentistry including pediatric, endodontic, surgical and restorative treatments. Hisis truly a family practice, treating young children all the way to those of us that 'aren 't so younganymore.' He and his well trained staff practice excellent dentistry with the goal of improving and maintaining the health and function of their patients.

Hello, my name is Harriet. I joined Dr. McKay's practice in 1988. I have worked with him as a dental assistant and later as his practice manager. I have worked in dentistry since 1972. Outside ofworking, I enjoy junking and own Medlyannas!, The Warehouse and Sweet Eva Janes, my church, and spending time with my husband.

Hi! My name is Donna and began my dental career with Dr. McKay in 1989 and have been a patient of his for 34 years! I love seeing patients that have been a part of Dr. McKay's office for as long as I have and love meeting our new patients.

I have two grown 'kids' who are still my world. My daughter is in the military (very proud Army mom!) and my son lives in Florida and works with classic cars. In my time away from the office I enjoy spending time with Mike going to car shows, stamps shows, antiquing, fishing and above all, serving our Lord.

Hello! My name is Stacey. I have been with Dr. McKay's office since 2002, serving as both a hygiene assistant and front desk assistant to the practice manager. I graduated from GTCC in 2006 from the Dental Hygiene program and went right on to being a hygienist for Dr. McKay. I love spending one on one timewith each patient teaching them about oral hygiene. In my time away from the office, I enjoy being with my family and serving in our church.

Hey there! My name is Windy. I have been working with Dr. McKay since 2013 as a dental assistant. I graduated fromMontgomery Community College in Troy, NC and graduated from the Dental Assistant Program in 2013. I love offering comfort to our patients while working side by side with Dr. McKay. My husband Jason and I welcomed a new addition to our family this year. Our son Jensen wasborn in 2017. We love watching him grow and develophis own personality. Heis truly a blessing!

Hey! My name is Briana Lemonds. I am one of Dr. McKays dental assistants. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Montgomery Community College in 2015. I joined Dr. McKays dental team in 2016. Outside of dentistry, my free time is spent with my family, friends and my boyfriend, Jake. I dont have children yet, but I am a fur Mama to my dog, Milo. My favorite hobby is riding 4-wheelers but I love any kind of outdoor activity!
